William Hudson, a stage IV cancer survivor, is a retired IT professional in higher education. He graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. William spent most of his career in higher education information technology at Pepperdine University and the University of Redlands. He spent a few years in the corporate realm as a higher education technology consultant and project manager at a 'big four' accounting firm and higher education software provider in San Francisco.
Besides his professional and writing pursuits, William enjoys exploring the scenic trails surrounding Palm Springs throughout the year. San Jacinto State Park is a favorite destination for his hiking adventures, especially during the summer when the elevation brings cooler temperatures than the scorching desert floor. At home near Palm Springs, William shares his life with his husband, two chihuahuas, two cats, and koi fish, creating a loving and fun environment.
Now in retirement and living in the beautiful southern California desert near Palm Springs, William fulfills his lifelong dream of writing and sharing his experiences and knowledge through the written word.
