The Academy of the Profane is everything I hoped for and a bunch of things I didn't expect.
I'm a god hiding my identity, my twin sister is a hellhound, my familiar is hiding she's a hybrid, and my brother is an out and proud angel. The God of Death is teaching history and they are beautiful. Maybe I have a danger fetish. The Academy of the Profane is finally getting a dodgeball team so I can play my favorite magical sport. There's a silly lion, a deaf Brujo, and a Kitsune who likes to steal who make me feel whole. There is also a grumpy Basilisk I might like to strangle.
But that's not all. Someone is killing witches at the Academy of the Profane. It's the entire reason Azren, the God of Death is here. It's up to us to stop them.

There was just a lot of information stuffed in with the story. The main story was pretty interesting like the rest of the profane books with all the supernatural and things like that but it just seemed to get sidetracked a lot with, I don't know what you would call it, politics? Politically correct... Inclusivity, maybe? Like how much can I fit into one book or one series. How many gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, gender-neutral, physically disabled, pronouns, politically correct statements, etc., etc. Can I fit in. It just became distracting. I read most of her books and have no problem with any of that but there was just so much stuffed in that you lost sight of the story. It just seemed preachy almost. And it got annoying. Especially with the spicy scenes. Like they all just became how many holes can be filled with little to no detail so they were far from hot. You know? Like there was barely any kissing or touching in anything smutty even though there were all these hot people it should have been hot but it was just lost in, like everyone getting a guy and the main girl getting as many as possible. Which sounds hot but it just wasn't because it seemed more like running a train instead of being worshiped by a whole bunch of hot dudes. I don't know. It wasn't bad The story was neat it just got sidetracked with all the stuff that she felt she needed to shove in there. Like maybe pick one and go with it. But now it's like the Jack of all trades Master of none type of thing. I guess I just thought this was a reverse harem, like the other books, and it definitely wasn't. Very little romance.
Holy puritan ghosts, what a finale series for the profane world.
This book has it all! Mystery? Check. Petty deities? Check. Hot mates? Check
I was so excited to jump into George's world and it was just as exciting as those of her mom and aunts. The Twins 2.0 are starting at the academy of the Profane and they are READY- for classes, moon orgies, and hopefully the speak easy. Things George was not prepared for witches getting unalived in a haunting way AND starting her harem.
As the daughter of a powerful witch and the god of Chaos- life is always interesting around George. Talented witches keep dying, and signs point towards another god as the killer. Add in an evil head mistress and her idiotic daughter, a basilisk intent on hating her, dodgeball, and twin stuff, this story takes you on a ride. Featuring cameos from our favorite uncle Loki, mom, aunt, father who is a deity, and Freya.
Between classes, mean girls, dodgeball and moon orgies- what's a young god to do?
This is an amazing conclusion to the profane world, and gives everyone involved their HEA. I loved the characters and the lore woven in. I ended with tears in my eyes and knowledge that I will read this entire world again.
The Goddess is Awakened Matilda and George are twin daughters of the same mother but different fathers - and students at the Academy of the Profane. Love this!! The characters are amazing, and as I have read the previous series as well, the mentions of those characters adds to the enjoyment. Cliff hanger ending, lots of dramas, twists and turns, and awesome that the head mistress and her daughter get their come-uppance! The Goddess is Angry George is still being bullied by the head mistress's daughter - but she now has family teaching at the Academy of the Profane - and her coven to help her. Drake learns that not all witches are evil - and George's secret is revealed. Someone is killing students and stealing their hearts - is Sol responsible? The Goddess is Fierce George and her friends really need to find out who the serial killer is. They dont believe that it is Sol - but he is hiding something. What is the truth about Hale? Will they all survive or will the murderer win? I have loved every bit of this series! The characters are amazing, and the story lines kept me reading right up until the end.

The Goddess is Awakened: JB Trepagnier, I love the amazing world you have created and all of the series' connections. The characters are fascinating and well developed and with every page I read I was pulled into the story. I loved the twins and the story filled with mystery, multiple love interests, humor, and all the amazing characters we met along the way to a cliffhanger ending. I can't wait to read the next book in The Academy of the Profane series. The Goddess is Angry: I am loving this series from the amazing world the author has created to the fabulous characters and everything in between. This captivating story held my attention from the first page to the last and after that ending, The Goddess is Fierce: The Goddess is Fierce is the final book in The Academy of the Profane series. Although I am sad to say goodbye to George and her harem I loved getting to read their unique journey with all the unexpected twists, mystery, humor, steam, and the happily ever afters. I look forward to reading the next great series by this fabulous author. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
This is the complete series in one collection, so a very convenient package.
This is a paranormal reverse harem romance series with gods at an academy as the major theme. The stories are well written and easy to read with one caveat. There is sometimes a lot going on, so it occasionally requires a bit of extra concentration to figure out who is doing what to whom. Beyond that, both the characters and setting are well done with plenty of details to draw you into the story. The plot is also solid with plenty of action and a nice bit of steam, all of which combine to make for a really fun series. Overall, I really enjoyed this series and look forward to seeing what our author creates next.
Highly recommended.

I can't rave enough about all the series J B Trepagnier has created her, not can I pick a favourite. This entire series is my happy place. I've read it several times and still love it. The characters are amazing. All the FMCs are seriously badass and yet humble enough to appreciate why they attract their men. The books are filled with action but each series has comedic elements. There are many characters who are gender fluid throughout the collection. There is sword crossing so expect MM action. This series the FMCs twin is a lesbian but there are no spicy details.

This is an amazing trilogy fill with magic and heat. It had a fantastic journey to follow. Below are my individual reviews for book 2 &3 . The Godess is Angry Mystery, humor, heat and adventure. This is a fantastic second book to The Academy of the Profane series. There were some amazing twists. I really can't wait to see what is next.
The Goddess is Fierce We get some amazing revelations in this conclusion to the The Academy of the Profane series. It answers the majority of my lingering questions that I've had from the previous books. It has been a very interesting read filled with intrigue, mystery and magic.
I had assumed I already read this as separate books, but soon realized I had read previous incarnations of the series world. It was a very fun adventure filled with magic and mayhem while our main characters went to school, fell in love and formed their harem. Most of the characters represented persons of very fluid sexuality but the story was more about personal and plot development than sex. It took me several days to finish, but I really looked forward each time to my return to the academy of the profane.
The Academy of the Profane trilogy is a fantastic series that includes a tragic whodunnit story arc. I waited to read it until all 3 books were released and was it ever worth the wait. The romantic relationships are very organically developed, every character has a distinct personality that react as they should and it is an extremely engaging read. There is drama, comedy, romance and mystery all rolled into a fantastic series by a brilliant author. I was sucked into the story immediately and I'll be rereading this boxset, no doubt about it.
Do you like reading the whole story all at once? This is a great set so far. I have not finished all the books yet, but it is keeping me reading. Do you like reverse harlems? Then you will like this. We have mystery, adventure and sexy times. So follow george on her Academy life.
