This book is an absolutely delicious work sprinkled and blended with right proportion of information. The characters are potatoes, therefore this becomes a fable. It is written in a simple,easy-breezy way and offers us a load full of knowledge about agriculture, farming and geography.

Author begins this super fun story with the planting of potatoes in farmland of Gujarat. Their hilarious conversation and interesting journey progresses the story. Just like wide eyed curious kids they seek wonders in everything. They are fascinated by the blue skies and vast vegatation when they are uprooted using machines. Here, the author's extensive knowledge about the farming and agricultural practices are manifested.Further, these little bundles of potatoes pursue a rollercoaster journey when they are transported to the southern most region of India. From there, they reach the dream destination-the Laskhadweep. It is land of turquoise blue ocean, corals and reefs. Also, it is a land bestowed with unparalleled beauty and attracts people with its charming landscape.

Author has adopted a style of writing which is very well suited for kids and adults who loves gathering new information. Her writing style is also a unique one with the addition of cooking recipes and geographical narratives. The imageries and rhetorics used aptly conveys the notion which the author intends. In an overview, it is just like a lip- smacking delicious snack that can be devoured all at once.
