Oh, God!!! I love this series!!!!
They have it all...
Much adventure, suspense, funny moments, heartbreaking moments...
It is a wonderfull mix that freeze you in your place without moving the book from your hands to do anything else until it's over!!! And then, you want more!!!
Allie is hiding away from the Kimmeria Academy because of Nathaniel's last attack who injured her and her friends very badly... Nathaniel won't stop until gets the power and Allie by his side... So the only solution for Lucinda and Isabel was to send her away!!!
But nowhere is safe, so she returns back home...
But everything had changed dramatically in the Academy... Most of the students are taken away and the school is full of guards... Everything is upside down in there... The place reminds Allie a prison!!!
Everybody are hiding something and everyone is scared about who might be the traitor between them that provides informations from inside to Nathaniel... Old enemies suddenly become allies and Carter is treating towards Allie in a very strange and full of anger way!!!
So now that she had returned she is trying to trained more hard for being able to fight against Nathaniel's people...
They all cooperate to discover the traitor and to find a solution about how they can resist to... but Nathaniel is a clever and very sneaky bastard... He won't rest until take in his hands what he really wants... So the negotiations begins but Nathaniel request Allie's present and she can do anything else from accepting for the shake of the people that she loves... But her friends don't agree with her decision...
So what will happened???? Their plan will work??? Or Nathaniel will take the upper hand???
As for the emotional part, Allie is torn between Carter and Sylvain...
She's attracted to Sylvain, but her heart ache for her ex... She is trying so hard to persuade herself that when she and Carter look each other intense, it doesn't mean anything!!! Or when Carter is the only one who understand her and can calm her when she's having panic attacks!!!! Or when they touch each other accidentally!!! Hmmmm.... You haven't figure it out yet Allie????
That's the reason why she can not tell to Sylvain that she loves him... Because something else is blocking her heart!!! And that's Carter!!! But Carter is not anymore hers, he is with Jules!!!! And she is with Sylvain, right????
Did i tell you that i'm team Carter from the first moment??? Yeah, i am!!!
And don't get me wrong... Sylvain is such a nice guy and he really loves Allie, but he is not the one for her... And he knows it too, but he prefers to fool himself....
I won't tell you how much i loved the declaration of love at the end... With who???
Mmmm.... I don't think appropriate to tell you!!!!
But this confession was a wonderfull scene in the book, after so much fear, death and distraction....
But then everything went so wrong and now i'm really wondering how this amazing story will end up!!!!

The thought sent a melancholy shiver through her.
‘That’s sad,’ she said. ‘It makes me feel so … temporary.’
‘Everything is temporary,’ he said into her hair. ‘Even the stars don’t last.’
Okay, so this is the 4th book in the series, and it pretty much focused on the love-triangle between Sylvain-Allie-Carter, with a little bit of indecision over how these people are hoping to deal with Nathaniel once and for all.
The gang all made it back to the boarding school in this book, Allie deliberated over Sylvain and Carter, and didn’t really make a decision one way or the other, although we did get one unexpected death. This book felt pretty long though, I actually have earache from listening to this book all day, and I must have missed the ‘AWESOMENESS’ that everybody else seems to be going on about, because this was only okay for me. I mean a lot of this book just seemed to be Allie thinking about how dreamy Sylvain was, and every time I tried to switch from listening to reading I just got frustrated by the slow pace.
"If she did love him, why couldn't she just say so?
And why did she feel so empty when Carer walked away?"
We did get a little bit of action at the end, but it was a long time coming, and then we got left with a cliff-hanger.

I'm going to cry in a corner. This book has freaking destroy me *Sobs*
I've started this book series because a girl had recommended it to me, but I had never imagined that I would like it that much.
The story has remind me of the first book, with all that action, mistery and love. More exactly, Resistance is for me a kind of mix between Night School and Legacy. For one hand, this book has the action and mystery that is characteristic of the first book; in the oder hand, there are parts that reminds me of Legacy such as the important of love in the story and some institute problems like Katie and allie talking about boys.
This time, the story focus on parley with Nathaniel, and how are the sopposed to avoid the trap that is waiting for Lucinda and Allie if they agree to it; and the new type of training that Raj and the others instructors of Night School are making learn the members of it.
Who the spy was didn't surprise me, because the author made me suspect of so many people, so it didn' surprise me.
THE ROMANCE: Ok, I've loved the romance in these book. Even though Sylvain has never convinced me, I did enjoy the scenes between Allie and teh french boy, but my heart has always been, since the beginning, with Carter West. And I think that since the first book, Allie has loved Carter...I have the proof. In the first book, when Allie and Carter got together, she told him (I don't remember if this has happened one or twice): "I love you, Carter/ You are the only one". And when she is with Sylvain in the roof in this book, when he says to her "I love you since the first time I saw you", she can't say it in return, while she has already said it to Carter. She tries to hide it because Carter is with Jules and she is forcing her relationship with Sylvain. Even Sylvain is aware of her love to Carter. So, when I realised this, I started smiling because I knew Carter and Allie will end up together. In the two last chapters, they said the word and I loved it (I love it so mutch), but of course there was going to be a bad thing...and the bad thing is Carter beeing kidnapped or dead in Nathaniel's Guards hands. This broke (and breaks) my heart.
The "Always" thing makes my heart race.
I just love this books. Defenetley one of the best book series that I've read in 2014
P. S: I'm still a Sylter shipper because Sylvain and Carter are very sexy together and, I don't know, I want a gay plot twist with these together in a happy couple (but I'm a loyal callie shipper)... just leave me with my fantasies...

Omg, das Buch ist einfach der Hammer. Spannend von vorne bis hinten. Das Ende war natürlich wieder heftig und ich kann es kaum abwarten das Finale zu lesen! So eine gute Reihe!

Wieder ein großartiger Teil dieser tollen Reihe! Allie hat am Ende endlich ihre Gefühle für die Kerle im Griff und der spannende Showdown kommt zu einem noch spannenderen Cliffhanger! Ich werde kurz für einen Thriller pausieren und dann den finalen Band lesen um diese Reihe zu beenden! Ich bin sehr gespannt wie alles ausgeht.... Für mich wegen der vielen Spannung wieder 5 Sterne!

Μετά το απογοητευτικό τρίτο βιβλίο οι προσδοκίες μου για την "Αντίσταση" είχαν πέσει στα πατώματα.Ωστόσο δεν έπρεπε να βγάλω τόσο γρήγορα συμπεράσματα γιατί τελικά το τέταρτο βιβλίο όχι μόνο έφτασε τον πήχη πολύ υψηλότερα από εκεί που τον είχα θέσει αλλά πέτυχε και να δώσει όλα αυτά τα στοιχεία που έλειπαν από τα προηγούμενα βιβλία.
Η Άλι και η Ρέιτσελ περνούν το καλοκαίρι του ταξιδεύοντας σε όλη την Ευρώπη προκειμένου ο Ναθάνιελ να χάσει τα ίχνη τους.Σύντομα όμως όλοι θα συνειδητοποιήσουν πως κάτι τέτοιο είναι αδύνατο και τα δύο κορίτσια μαζί με τον Σιλβέν θα επιστρέψουν σε μια πολύ διαφορετική Κιμμέρια Ακαδημία αφού μετά την τελευταία επίθεση οι περισσότεροι μαθητές έχουν επιστρέψει στα σπίτια τους.Η Άλι μαζί με τους φίλους θα αρχίσουν μια ακόμη σκληρότερη εκπαίδευση στο νυχτερινό σχολείο προκειμένου να βρουν τον προδότη ανάμεσα τους πριν να είναι πολύ αργά. Για πρώτη φορά το μέλλον του σχολείου φαντάζει τόσο σκοτεινό καθώς η κοινωνική και πολιτική ζωή του Λονδίνου είναι έτοιμη να τιναχτεί στον αέρα.
Επιτέλους σε αυτό το μυθιστόρημα βλέπουμε την δράση και την ένταση να πέρνουν τα ηνία της ιστορίας κάτι που μας έλειψε στο Ράγισμα .Από τη πρώτη μέχρι την τελευταία σελίδα τα γεγονότα τρέχουν με γοργούς ρυθμούς δίνοντας απαντήσεις σε πολλά ερωτήματα που είχαν γεννηθεί στα προηγούμενα μέρη κρατώντας το σασπένς σε υψηλά επίπεδα έχοντας μας σε εγρήγορση κάθε λεπτό.Αν και πολλά πράγματα τα είχα προβλέψει όπως ας πούμε ποιός είναι πραγματικά ο προδότης εντούτοις ικανοποιήθηκα βλεποντας επιτέλους την πλοκή να εξελισσέται και να μην μένει στάσιμη λόγο των σαχλών ρομάτζων.
Η Άλι δέιχνει και αυτή μετά από πολύ καιρό το δυναμικό της πρόσωπο καθώς κάνει τα πάντα για να ανακαλύψει τον ένοχο αλλά και να βοηθήσει την γιαγιά της να παλέψει απέναντι στον σατανικό Ναθάνιελ.Μου άρεσε αυτή η θαρραλέα μαχητική πλευρά της που είναι έτοιμη να τα βάλει με όλους και με όλα προκειμένου να υπερασπιστεί τους ανθρώπους που αγαπά, και ελπίζω να την διατηρήσει και στο επόμενο βιβλίο!
Ένα άλλο γεγονός που με χαροποίησε ιδιαίτερα είναι ότι επιτέλους η Άλι φαίνεται να κάνει την επιλογή ως προς ποιό είναι το αγόρι που τελικά αγαπά και που θέλει να είναι μαζί του.Δεν ευχαριστήθηκα μόνο επειδή επέλεξε αυτόν ου εγώ προσωπικά επιθυμούσα αλλά κυριώς επειδή πιστεύω πως αυτό το θέμα μετά από τέσσερα βιβλία έληξε αισίως και εύχομαι να μην μας ξαναπασχολήσει προκειμένου να επικεντρωθεί η ιστορία στη δράση.
Γεμάτη αγωνία,μυστήριο,σασπένς,ένταση, δολοπλοκίες,ρομαντισμό αλλά και συγκίνηση η Αντίσταση είναι μέχρι στιγμής το καλύτερο βιβλίο της σειράς.Το φινάλε για πρώτη φορά αντί να κλείσει χωρίς αγωνία όπως τα προηγούμενα μας αφήνει σύξυλους με μια απρόσμενη δολοφονία και με μια ανατροπή που κανείς πραγματικά δεν θα περίμενε.Ο Νοέμβριος φαντάζει πολύ μακριά και ειλικρινά μετράω τις μέρες ώσπου να έρθει στα χέρια μου το πολυπόθητο πέμπτο και τελευταίο βιβλίο!

Resistance is by far my favourite instalment in the Night School series so far, though Endgame could take that place in June.
After the action packed ending of Fracture, I was not expecting Resistance to start so intense. From the get go we are thrust into the action, and the whole book is fast paced.
In this book we finally discover who the spy at Cimmeria was, and I was very surprised by which person it was. Allie starts to learn who she can trust around school, and I definitely liked the group dynamic between the friends she can trust.
As I said the action was greater in this book, and we've finally reached a stage where the end is in sight, but which side it will favour is still unknown. Personally, I like the uncertainty of it all, but the ending was so unexpected and sudden, that I'm not sure how I'll be able to wait until June to read Endgame.
I've always been a member of Team Carter, and I've got to say this book was perfect for my team. I still like the Allie/Sylvain dynamic, but see them more as a brOTP than an OTP.
Everyone should read this series, it has beautiful writing and plot!

As I said the action was greater in this book, and we've finally reached a stage where the end is in sight, but which side it will favour is still unknown. Personally, I like the uncertainty of it all, but the ending was so unexpected and sudden, that I'm not sure how I'll be able to wait until June to read Endgame.
I've always been a member of Team Carter, and I've got to say this book was perfect for my team. I still like the Allie/Sylvain dynamic, but see them more as a brOTP than an OTP.
Everyone should read this series, it has beautiful writing and plot!

Sí señor, después de los decepcionantes libros 2 y 3, he recuperado mi fe en esta saga. Muy, muy bien. Me ha gustado. Por fin la historia avanza de verdad (Nos ha fastidiao, solo queda uno).
Sabremos por fin quién es el topo. A Allie por una vez no dan ganas de matarla. Y por fin la niña se decide entre Carter o Sylvain, y no, no hay marcha atrás. Es definitivo. Tenemos un fiambre... y un final de infarto. Espero que la autora venda suficientes para poder sacar el quinto y último libro.

Voy a ser rápida, algo el libro me molesto la mayor parte del tiempo, todavía no se que. Más de lo mismo con el triángulo y el espía (Por cierto, lo descubrí desde el principio del libro) hasta las últimas páginas. El final estuvo bueno y necesito el próximo libro en español. Fin

It felt like coming home when I started reading this book. Coming home to many beloved friends.
I really like Allie and her friends. But her friends didn't feel as close to me in this book as they did in the previous one.
And Allie finally sorted out her boy-drama! At least I hope so.
Can't wait to finish the series, because.....major cliffhanger!! And it breaks my heart...

How AMAZING!!! All the Night School books have just been brilliant. I absolutely cannot wait for the final book, although I will miss the series and characters terribly. I am team Carter all the way, and have been from the very beginning. I cannot recommend this series enough. It's just amazing!! 5 out of 5!

Το 4ο βιβλίο νομίζω πως είναι το καλύτερο ως τώρα. Ανεβάζει αρκετά τον πήχη και ομολογώ πως προσδοκώ ένα ανάλογο φινάλε.
Περιμένω λοιπόν το 5ο και τελευταίο βιβλίο με μεγάλη αγωνία...

Wow, what a thrilling start to the book. Sylvain was amazing!
Allie can be a real idiot at times. She just jumps into things without considering other people. She should not have insisted at being at the parley without consulting her friends. Then she gets all defensive when they are upset with her.
What Sylvain did for allie's birthday was beautiful. And, his present was perfect, showing he totally understands her.
The scene when Sylvain leaves to go to his farther's aid is one of the saddest scenes I've read. I cried more during this scene than when Jo was found dead. Sylvain's words to Allie--they were so sad and poignant.
Of course everything went to hell at the end. That bloody Gabe again! Lucinda was one of my favourite characters in the series.
Now, I don't give a damn about how scarey the night was and how horrible it was to see your Grand-Mother die, I do not condone cheating. So what if Allie finally realised she loved Carter. She could have waited. Now she is going to break Sylvain's heart.
I am so proud of myself for figuring out who the spy was from the beginning. :)

That's me if you didn't get it....
In this book applies what I said for the previous one... I skimmed through it... The only silver lining is that we saw some action in the last few chapters and Allie finally decided who she's in love with... Hallelujah...
As for the spy and the big revelations of who he is?!?!? Yeah, right folks, I've figured him out since the second book...
My OCD commands me to finish this series... That and the fact that I've already spent so many hours and brain cells in this....

OMFG...make a decision already!
I have never read a more annoying "love triangle" than in this series. The first two books it was bearable, she only went between the two guys once, with not much more than the usual angst. But I have to say this particular teenage heroine is singularly out-of-touch with her emotions and what a relationship is or means (or how to conduct one).
By this book, however, she has spent SO much time vacillating back and forth, agonizing over her feelings for each guy, that it is completely ridiculous. She has yet to learn a damn thing or grow up even a little. And every time she shows signs of figuring things out, the next book begins and she has reverted right back to her angsty indecision. Give me a break!

Haha, bez względu na to, jak bardzo narzekam na tą serię, to jednak wciąga ona przeokropnie i już wpadłam w piąty tom, bo ja koniecznie muszę wiedzieć, co będzie dalej i jak to się zakończy.
Cały czas przeokropnie wkurza mnie trójkąt miłosny i to całe niezdecydowanie wszystkich (są nastolatkami, więc jakoś tam to ignoruję) i nic nie zmieni faktu, że połowę objętości całej serii można by spokojnie wykopać i to bez straty dla fabuły :D. Ale i tak nie mogę się oderwać.

Bis jetzt der beste Band aus der Reihe! So spannend, unglaublich. Auch wenn Allie mich ein bisschen nervt mit ihren zwei Kerlen. Ich hätte mich anders entschieden, wenn ich an ihrer Stelle gewesen wäre.

Book 4 done. One more book and I can't wait for it to be over.
The first two books were okay. I really liked them. Allie was not the best MC ever but it was addictive and a good way to pass time. There were lots of things I didn't like but I still enjoyed it.
Now this is getting stupid. And I haven't used the word "stupid" that much since I began Night school.
Allie has serious brain damage. She never makes the good choice and always acts like a kid. You would think that after everything she went through she would be more mature, but no. She's the same stupid immature as fuck Allie. Oh, she does have a good side, she's loyal and she can kick ass. But she's an idiot.
Carter was a pain in the ass. He's depressive and angry and never never happy. I didn't like him in book one, I still don't like him. Sylvain on the other hand is a nice guy, I guess. Sure he was a serious douchebag at the begining but now he's okay, even likeable.
The spy thing is finally over and I can't even believe they didn't know before who it was. They're professionnals for fuck's sake. How can they not find the spy ??? We had like the biggest hint ever in book 2 AND ALLIE KNEW IT omfg. I told you she was an idiot.
The love-triangle is also finally resolved. It was shitty from the start, and the end of it isn't good either. I'm not happy with it, but I guess I just want Allie sad and alone forever.
One more book. I want to know the end, but it seems like hiking Mount Everest right now. And I'm a very lazy person.

One more book that I liked a lot in this series! It has action from the first page and it kept my interest all the way! Really, I couldn't put it down! And I was more than happy to see that the whole problem with the love triangle has been solved because although I was ok wih a little teenage drama I didn't want this to continue anymore.
At the beginning Allie is very stubborn but I was happy to see that she is changing through the story. Sylvain is a young man who is not foolish and knows what he has to do so I came to like him. Carter can't hide his emotions and he is doing everything he can to keep Allie safe so he is always in my heart.
And as for the traitor? I knew he was him and I have to admit that I found his reasons for the treason lame!
And Nathaniel? I really can not understand this guy at all!

Si el tercer libro era un trámite para ponerte en situación de cara a la batalla final, en este continúa el tema casi igual. De nuevo hay una preparación para una batalla que deja inconclusa al final. Es verdad que así le da emoción a la cosa, pero vamos.
Al menos en este cuarto volumen Allie se decide en el tema amoroso (no lo voy a decir muy alto porque igual en el siguiente vuelve a estar indecisa 😂 ).
Se me ha hecho un poco pesado, aunque continúa con esa facilidad para engancharte en ciertos tramos, y que quieras saber más. Como lectura para pasar un rato entretenido viene bien. Eso sí, recomiendo que sea una lectura rápida, sin pensar mucho y sin dedicarle mucho tiempo.
