the most insane, knee bending, mind altering, earth shattering plot twist i’ve ever read. it felt like being hit by a bus. i had to put the book down for a hot minute and stare at the wall and ask myself “wtf did i just read?”

SHUT UP! I was in the most random mood when I picked this up, wanting something ‘dark’ and short to have a good time. What I was not expecting was to be flown away and yelling with excitement when reading it, since short novellas never really grip me. Oh my god, Vai and Jagger really are the IT couple and the way in which they’re so obsessed with each other, but in a healthy way, was everything. Also I didn’t expect the plot twist, now I want me a dark angel!!
go read this now y’all!! (3 stars bc it’s a shot story, but I still recommended it so much!!!!!

This was spicy and delicious and if you love a ghost face masked man, this is the one for you. I also enjoyed the paranormal twist it had, but I would LOVE to read it as a full length book where we can get more background into how his powers work, where his kind comes from in deeper detail. But for a novella, it was done well and I really enjoyed it.

I liked how in this romance we get some dark moments, stalkerish tendencies, thrilling aspects & then boom the PARANORMALLLLLL! It was a fun ride 🤭

The concept for this novella intrigued me, but I wasn't completely satisfied. I think the depth of the plot may warrant a longer story - I certainly want to know more about Jagger.
The writing was fun, the spicy scenes were written well, I just wish there were more of it.

I received the arc for this novella and I was intrigued by the synopsis however the novella fell flat for me. And maybe this just isn't my type of read! So can always take my review with a grain of salt!
** spoilers ahead **
I thought there would be more buildup and tension between the two main characters. The spicy scenes are well written and if you want a novella full of spice this is the read for you! it's more down the line of an erotic novel than a novella.
I just felt there were too many of them for a novella and would have appreciated more plot. But I'm a lover of the slow burn so potentially this style is just not for me!
I liked the little bit of plot we did get. Cause I was curious to find out how the stalker was getting into the room. So I did finish the book as I didn't expect the dark angel angle. Unfortunately this is a novella, so to throw a big fantasy element like that in didn't work for me, but I do understand why they went that direction.
I almost feel like this would make a better book than a novella cause there was alot that could have been done with it to make it feel more well rounded!

LMAO!!! This was hilarious and so stupid. It’s not even written bad or anything just so dumb, ridiculous and funny as fuck. I have been cracking up for about 10 minutes straight after finishing this book. How did the two authors sit together and plan this out? 😂😂😂

Where oh where to begin? Loved the concept of the book however the ending had me looking like a confused John C. Reilly.
FMC is the daughter of a musician who tours with her dad. She is left notes outside of her door which causes her dad to assign his main bodyguard to her.
MMC stalks her throughout the tour and keeps finding ways to reach her and develop a sexual relationship with her.
The bodyguard being the one to leave the notes was no shocker at all. Honestly the Scooby Doo gang wouldn’t have even considered it to be a mystery with how obvious it was. Then at the end for the MMC to be an angel that was created when she was born? His main goal is to protect her but now that the bodyguard is dead his job is done therefore he has to sleep with her to prevent becoming nothing? Uh what? Don’t get me started on the love declarations between the 2 either. That was so over the top unbelievable I couldn’t hold back laughing.
Overall the spice scenes in the book and plot intentions of stalking were good, but this book just was a huge miss for me. I found myself trying to rewrite the ending in my head so I could have considered it enjoyable.

what the hell was this? this was basically porn with just a tiny bit of plot which was a more interesting part of it that unfortunately wasn’t really well developed. I wanted to know more about Jagger. My question is, why are others saying this plot twist was like super shocking??? I saw it coming from the very beginning. When reading the reviews, I expected something a little more mind blowing. The romance was mehh not much chemistry or moments that cemented it for me. The spicy scenes were written well but after so many of them I was over them. I didn’t bother reading the bonus chapters. Anyways, if you just want spice this is the book for you.

i didn’t know what to expect within the first few chapters of this book, but things got interesting very quickly!

The whole angel lead-in was genuinely something i didn’t expect, but i love all of the extra chapters that were included on Kindle Unlimited, getting more specific with some information from their time together, and seeing them bond more and more.
