Parks is an Amazon best selling author and the owner of Posey Parks Publishing. Billionaire alpha romance suspense series: Relentless Chase, Not Giving Up, and Samantha Posey Love three book series, (Love Unfolded, Love Reveals, and Love Conquers) are filled with betrayal, drama, kidnapping, assassins, and Steamy Hot romance. The characters cross over into other series. The Set Dilemma is a sexy historical romance standalone. Hidden Witness is a second chance mafia romance series sure to keep you hooked. The deeply captivating Billionaire's Stripper Virgin romance is a tantalizing must read.
Posey Parks will always give an unexpected Plot-twist in all of her books.
She's from Detroit, Michigan living in Atlanta, Georgia. Traveling is her other passion. She has visited London and Paris and would love to some day travel to Italy.
When not taking care of her family she is reading or writing "HOT & STEAMY" romance stories. A happily ever after (HEA) is always important to her. She needs it as much as her readers do. Sometimes she can leave a cliff hanger, but she always gives an HEA at the end of either a stand alone or series!
Nick and Kinsley. He wasn't about to lose her a second time.
No one writes a mafia romance like Posey Parks. You already know she's going to bring the receipts and keep it moving. And once again, she delivered a gripping, no holds barred, sitting on the edge of your seat waiting to see what comes next, amazing book.
Nick and Kinsley share a complicated past that left them both broken. But fate steps in and finds a way to for them a second chance at love. But when Kinsley learns who she's marrying, will she go through with the contract?
No spoilers! This book was definitely one of my favorites by this author. She has a way of pulling the reader into the story and keeping you engaged until the very HEA ends. Nick and Kinsley are a dynamic couple who I hope we get to hear from more in the future. Especially in the Assassin's and Mob Wives book 2. This is a book you definitely don't want to miss.
This book had a lot of potential but the execution was quite bad... The main character was named "Nickulas", they called him "Nick", his brother "Nico" There are numerous names around the world, a little variety would have been welcome... Also, the timeline was messed up, it was going back and forth, from past to present and at some points the lines were so blurry you weren't even sure about the time-frame you were reading... Overall, I would have enjoyed it BUT it needed more, more words to actually build up the story, add the proper details, bond all the chapters together. It should have been a 400+ page book not a 170 page one...
Wow, what a journey Nick and Kinsley had to find each other again. I couldn't put this book down. The love, heartbreak, and trauma that Kinsley went through, I just had to finish this book. I also enjoyed that the other 4 mob families, especially the mob wives, were introduced to Kinsley. Another great book, Ms. Parks.
Well this story took a unexpected turn I wasn't expecting but I loved were it ended up .I'm glad nick was able to get the love of his life back .I think Kinsley is underestimating what her friends can handle. I think for them to do to josh what they did they would fit into her new life quite nicely. It was nice to see all the other mafia families show up its never a dull moment when they all come together. I hope we get to see more of this couple in the future. As with all Posey books this was another hit can't wait to read what's next and to get a better glimpse of Nick's little sister.
Kinsley was trying to find a cure for her mother’s disease and she was going broke. She found an agency on the internet that looked for temporary wives for rich men. Kinsley was determined to find a billionaire to fund her research! What she found was the last person that she thought she would see! Nick Pitucco, mafia boss the love of her life, who she hadn’t see in 11 years. When they get together the contract change and Nick wants her for life. Will her secret make him change his mind? A good book!
The writing was so bad at the start I struggled with the prologue and it did not get better. This author tells you everything there is no writing that evokes mood, scenery, atmosphere or thoughts in the characters head.
At one point the fmc leaves a building being told she must have a guard so out loud she says this is my new normal. That’s really an internal thought not necessary to be verbalized unless she is going to fight the issue which spoiler she didn’t do.
Anyways I stopped reading there. This needs a ton of work. It’s like a free write of an idea for storyboarding without the flesh and meaty middle to make the bones interesting.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This was wildly written. The timelines jumped from minutes to days without any form of information stating so. The story had a wild plot line which seemed to have been put together as the writer was writing. I only finished it because I have a phobia of DNF. I wish the author spent more time on the actual plot than attempting to write smut.
The plot of the story is a good idea. I think with some editing and restructuring the story could even be great and easier to read. The moments of looking back in time are better served as their own chapters.
3.50 Stars. (BW/WM). A free virtually narrated audiobook from Audible.
Setting: Modern da New Jersey and college townes in New York and Pennsylvania.
Trope: Insta attraction. Marriage of convenience. Unresolved feelings of love and dislike.
Characters: 1. Nick Pitucco, hero, has been groomed to become the Don of his crime family which he does by his twenty-third birthday. 2. Kinsley, heroine, is a 20-year-old medical research student vowing to find a cure for her mother's form of cancer. 3. Natalia Pitucco is Nick's younger sister. 4. Norah Aiello is the daughter of Torrance, her family's crime boss who has arranged for her to one day marry Nick.
This story is told from Nick's and Kinsley's prospective and osculates from the present to nine and eleven years in the past when Nick was a 23-year-old college student and Natalia and Kinsley were 20-year-old college students. Nick and Norah's fathers had arranged for an alliance between their families by arranging for Nick and Norah to marry whenever Nick takes the reigns as Don of the Pitucco family; however, in the interim Nick met Kinsley and the two of them fell in love. When Norah found out about Nick and Kinsley, she had some frat brother gang wrap Kinsley and she stabbed a then pregnant Kinsley causing Kinsley to miscarry. Natalia intervenes by having Norah killed and by saving Kinsley's life and paying for Kinsley's tuition and supplying her with bodyguards. Eleven years later, Kinsley and Nick are reunited when unbeknownst to either of them Kinsley applies to accept a marriage of convenience contract that Nick was offering. Ultimately, Nick and Kinsley married, resolved their differences and had another child.
This so Fantastic! I really enjoy this story, the characters are awesome with sizzling chemistry. Which is captivating and this couple burn up pages with their passion it's so hot. The women are independent but lovable and men makes you want to melt. What a powerful combination for a heartfelt romance. This is story has given me a pleasurable experience and I know that you will definitely enjoy it also.I have totally devoured this story and feel that this one was knocked out of the park. But I do have one warning and that's the this story has a part that's dark but in whole it's so enjoyable and beautiful that you can overcome this emotional and hard to read part. Plus I want to say when I finished reading the last page, I still wanted more! I am always so absorbed into how their relationship is, because it's never rushed and believe me when I say this again the stories written by this author are so captivating that you will want to read them more than once. This story is a great love affair that gives you that happy feeling and sometimes the couple you are reading about to struggle with love . I have really enjoyed this series because it's written with such extraordinary imagination that makes them such a pleasure and beautiful stories to read. I hope as you read this you will enjoy it as much as I did there is a cliffhanger but it makes you excited to read part two.
Kinsley was in love with Nick Petucco, but she did not know he was not only in the mafia but the don of the Petucco family. She refused to be involved with him after finding out he was engaged to a crazy mafia princess. Norah Aielo, the crazy mafia princess had orders to get rid of the woman that owned Nick's heart. She was supposed to die that cruel night that "Bad Kinsley " was born.
As karma would have it Wife For Hire brought Nick and Kinsley back into each other's life. She fought her love for Nick until she couldn't anymore. It wasn't until the other four bad bitch mafia wives encouraged her to embrace love for Nick and her bad side, that she completely let go of her apprehension. We see Dr. Kinsley go from a good girl to a bad mafia wife determined to not only protect herself but also the man she never stopped loving.
I loved this story. All of the underlying subplots made this story a harrowing page-turner. I'm going to go back and re-read the mafia wives.
Nothing is more beautiful than a hard ,unbending, confident, … you know what I mean lol… loves a woman completely, obsessively with no apology. Swooning !! Nick was in a dilemma, in his world, more often than not you married for convenience, and that was so in his case , granted he was not married to the rotten to core woman yet, in the name of Nora , but her own obsession to him, made it impossible for him to see anyone, even though is was just a promise, not an engagement. The minute Kinsley bumped into him, he wanted her and he was torn because he knew seeing her would placed her in danger and he couldn’t stay away. What would follow between them couldn’t be described, their love was out of this world, they were beautiful together… & what followed would leading to a lot pain, indescribable suffering… & tragedy.
But, nobody can stop fate , what meant to be will be… Years later they met again & this time Nick was determined to hold on to what he knew was his true love, his destiny, his fate, his Kinsley!!!! See how Kinsley and Nick got back together , get your own copy. 😉
Wife for Hire brought Nick and Kinsley back together after 12 years, but boy, I don't think anybody could have expected how much their lives had changed as a result of falling for each other so long ago.
This story is written to make the reader question not only Nick and Kinsley, but also the other characters brought into the story. This story pulls on every emotion, including love, fear, anger, and joy. To follow Kinsley's transformation was both heartbreaking as well as joyful in the end. I can honestly say, I ate up the part of the story where retribution was being handed out. Bravo to a thorough, well written story.
This being a part of the mafia stories written by Posey Parks, it was great seeing appearances from some of the characters from her other books.
Love a second time around, sometimes works and sometimes not. In this case, Nico meets Ainsley in college. They fall in love and then circumstances beyond their control breaks them apart. Years later, Nico has the chance to marry Ainsley. After some back and forth they realize they still care for each other. Nico doesn't know what happened to her and why she disappeared. When he finds out it is too later a vindictive gangster holds him responsible for the death of his daughter, and kidnaps Ainsley. This is a great story that ends on a cliffhanger.
This 📕is much darker than the description indicates, so you should consider checking the ✍🏼s TWs before going on this literary ride😳I actually had to skip some scenes🥺 and I am a dark romance girlie!!! I loved the two MCs, Mafia boss Nick & his love Kinsley. Their hard fought HEA was paved with brutal violence😰heartbreak, revenge & love for each other. There are also guest appearances from characters in the Hidden Witness/ Mob Wives-Assassin📚😀The epilogue was the chef’s 💋
What a book. This book was fantastic from beginning to end. Kinsley and Nick were a great couple from beginning to end, and I cannot believe the lengths that they had to go through to be together. I can’t believe what Kinsley had to endure to be with Nick and what Norah put her through. I’m glad that she had the guardian angel that she had and that in the end she proved how strong of a woman she really was. I’m glad that they got there happily ever after. I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series.
The story of Nick and Kinsley is one of fire and desire! It was amazing to see some of the amazing ladies from Ms. Posey's other books within this book. Helping Kinsley reach that inner badass Kinsley and keep her close underneath the skin. Then you have crazy a** Norah who won't get a clue. If you are a fan of Posey Parks, you know her books contain handsome men, spiciness, drama, bada** women, handling some business and fun, then you will absolutely love this book. Don't sleep on this people!
I love these women they are bad a$$es, I hope that you do a story for Kingsley 2 friends to me they feel like they’re apart of the group. Especially when they had assissted Kingsley in torturing Josh. To me those 2 ladies deserve a mafia man a ride or die because they brought there A game to help a friend so think what would happen if they had a Mafia man that would be more great reading for me.
“I will burn this world to the fucking ground to have her.
Wheewww! So, so good to me!!! I loved everything about this book, the good, the bad and the ugly. Talk about traumatizing, smh, I couldn’t remember if there was a warning before reading this or did I just jump right in. This was definitely dark but so good, it was worth the read. Nick was such an alpha in my opinion, take charge kinda guy. Such a turn on. On to my next read with Miss Posey.
Kinsley wanted to be a doctor she met Nick in college were they both loved each other but could not be together because Nick was in an upcoming arrange marriage. Years later kinsley went to marriage for hire contract to were she would marry for money to keep her mother alive. Then she found out her new husband was nick. But nick didn’t know the cruel things happened to her.
The story is good and sad but pay careful attention to the trigger alerts the book has a rough background story and harm comes to the heroine and it really messed with my mind because another woman ordered the harm that came to the heroine and while she gets her revenge the villainess gets off way to easy in my opinion.
What I needed to see all the gang back together again and learn more about the the four families...how Nick was so lonely without the woman he loved and couldn't bring himself to find another as Nico would put it...waiting on Nico to fall while catching up on all the others missed Jacob and Samantha in this round Lol
This was really good! It also reminds me of Carmen and Dominic and how they met while in college. I am glad that Kinsley has met all the mafia wives including Carmen! The author has really made this one interesting with the connections and of course the crazy way that they (mafiosos) seek revenge! I love mafia romances. Good read!
I love it. Posey Parks did it again. She is one of my best authors. When I see her name under a title I know I am going on a wild, sexy, killing ride! I love how she brings all other characters together in her stories. I finish each time happy and wanting more. Now what about Natalia and z as Moose. I want their story.
I wanted to give this a 5 because I loved that I thought this was going to be a Mafia romance with a sweet and innocent FMC. I was pleasantly surprised to read all about "bad Kinsley."
However there were a lot of ways that the style of writing did not appeal to me causing me to lower my rating. Misplaced quotation marks, and other things that caused confusion.
Honestly just not a good read. It’s got a good plot but just the writing is so bad. The chapters are all over the place, couldn’t tell who was talking half the time or if it was past or present. The thing at the end of the book made absolutely no sense even tho I went back and read it like three more times.
Kingsley met Nick in uni and fell in love w the boss of the mafia family. Left him because that was not the life she wanted, she was studying to be a doctor. After a traumatic event she transferred to Harvard to finish school. After 11 years they meet again to rekindle their love. She needs a billionaire husband to continue her research to save her sick mom and he needs a wife.
I like this book, and how the other 4families were included in it. How the wives played a big part in the healing process. This series is a first and a good one just wish it had more ir authors in it. Wanted brides a great read
