Published in 1980, 'Centurion' is no. 2 in the Modern Combat Vehicles series by Ian Allan. Whilst the subject is no longer modern, the book is a very comprehensive account of the development and service of the Centurion tank up to the date of print, all supported by a wealth of photos and other illustrations. A fitting tribute to what is arguably Britain's greatest tank - and there have been some real turkeys on the way.
