Read

Peccato.

A great little book about various psychological issues and problems, with Charlie Brown cartoons to illustrate the points. It's not going to answer all your questions on mental illness and it's not going to cure anyone, but it will help you to understand different personality traits and some of the thought processes people have. Highly recommended!

Just started reading this for the second time. Last read it over 20 years ago. I was a different person then, with more hair and less responsibilities. Cheaper than a co-pay and much more entertaining.

Twerski covers many situations and perspectives of the mind that shape our choices and responses to life's challenges. He excels at simplifying complex ideas and summarizing the choices people have in different situations. It was interesting to see different personalities and attitudes addressed in short sections and chapters with comics included. The Peanuts comics throughout give you another way to sharply get the point! If you're familiar with the Peanuts comics, you might get something from this psychiatrist-rabbi's book or his other books that include them.

Tutti dovrebbero leggerlo:)

Not a bad read, the PostScript message on the final page was good, however I found the writing style to be a little too belittling to the reader. I'm all for self improvement but you want to approach these topics with delicacy. It's a quick read though, which helps sway a read if you're curious.

I was introduced to Twerski by my medical doctor girlfriend. He is a genius and really has created a useful model of how human behavior works. A great read for anyone.

en oikeastaan välittänyt Twerskin pohdinnoista, osa kuulosti hyvin vanhanaikaiselta. mut tää onkin kirjoitettu -88... nyt tosin innostaa lukea Tenavia uudelleen!

Great little book, especially for Peanuts fans. Reminiscent of The Gospel According to Peanuts, a favorite from way back. There's a good chance it'll make you smile.

My husband gave me this book when I was feeling a bit depressed to help me see my way through it. Few of the points stuck with me, but I did enjoy the Peanuts cartoons scattered throughout and used as touchstones along the way.
