Yes, that's right; this was a 'Secret Santa' present.
This is a combination puzzle book and trivia book with all the puzzles and trivia based on and around defecating.
There was actually stuff in here I didn't know, so it gets marks for that, and it is actually quite funny in places.
My main concern about books like these is that, in some distant future, an alien intelligence will reach Earth and all they'll be able to find as evidence of human culture is one of these books...
As should be clear, this was a gag gift. One that has me desperate to make many crappy puns, yet I’ll restrain myself with just that one. As for the book itself, it was neither great nor horrible. It gets points for providing some facts I was unaware of, but the activities were rather repetitive. Nevertheless, it was entertaining enough for quick reading… which, at the heart, is what it is for.
All in all, not the best gag gift. At the same time, it’s not the worst.
I got this from a friend for my birthday which was nearly 2 months ago now. It's a book of puzzles. Some interesting factoids. Interesting format. The idea ofht e book being that it's read while on the toilet, instead of using your phone in this smartphone obsessed age.
Just two bits of advice: clean the book after use and it makes you nauseous if you read while eating.
The definitive loo read or should I say loo puzzle book . 52 challenges I managed to complete 49 correctly (although I believe the answer to page 28 is wrong). Will have a a place of honour on the toilet book shelf.
Genuinely not funny. I could use the 'might as well wipe my ass with it' joke, but the twenty seconds it would take me to figure out how to make the joke work would be twenty seconds more effort than was put into writing the the thing. Dont waste your money.
