I'm a confessed readaholic and romantic junkie. I spend time juggling a busy career as an IT professional and author. In between staring at a computer screen I, enjoy living the Gold Coast life with my very tolerant husband and two school aged children. (I'm often in trouble for spending way too much time at my computer!).

I love nothing more than spending time with family and friends, hitting the beach, cooking, working out and curling up with a good book. My pet hates are cleaning and anything else that can be considered "domestic dullness". If I could have one wish it would be to be able to fit 48 hours into 24.

I tend to write what I like to read books that have the following characteristics:

" Strong characters with lots of development
" Hot romance
" Deep storylines
" Interesting settings
" Real life problems and sensible solutions
" Happily Ever Afters (massive sucker for a good HEA)

Above all, I like to be immersed in the story. Therefore, I want my books to give you the same feeling when you read them. I want you to experience the rollercoaster emotions but end up feeling better and entertained for reading the book. I want you be happy!

Finding Judgement is book 2 in the Centre Games series. While I wasn’t completely sold on this series after book 1, I was drawn into this story right away. This is a sexy 4.5 star read. Much like book one, this story is more romantic suspense than paranormal romance so it could easily appeal to those who are not big fans of paranormal as well. I love the fact that each book in this series reads as a standalone novel, which is a rarity these days. My only issue was near the end when I felt like the story was over. The book goes on to tie up loose ends, which most readers might appreciate, but my mind was ready to move on to the next book. This was only a small personal issue.

This is Rory’s story, and I loved him in book one so I was looking forward to more of him. Rory is sexy, fun-loving, and loyal. TJ first appeared briefly in Finding Trust, and Rory was fascinated with her from their brief meeting. Needless to say, when he is put in a position of protecting TJ, his attraction quickly grows. They make a really hot couple, and even though their relationship was rushed I didn’t find it unbelievable. TJ is a great female character, strong and caring. My only issue with her was I couldn’t understand how she’d become so independent. Her entire family seemed to feel men were in charge and women needed to kind of follow along.

For those who read Finding Trust and want to know more about what is going on with Jazz and Quade, they do feature prominently in this story and the tension between them just keeps getting hotter and hotter. Not too many details are given about the other team members, but several make brief appearances in this book, making me want more. This series has definitely moved up to my must read list.

I love the originality of this series. Finding Trust wasn't a one hit wonder. Finding Judgement has proved that this series is going to be amazing.

When I read the first book, with Brayden and Rihanna. I was blown away by how original and entertaining the story was. The characters were addictive and the action was totally non stop.

Again, that same clever background is present in Finding Judgement. It's the loveable rogue, Rory this time. With his constant banter and adorable personality, plus the gorgeous surfer boy look, he is addictive. The lady that has caught his eye, is TJ. A feisty and stunning little thing, that Rory decides the name Pixie suits her perfectly.

After a bad accident took her father and eldest brother, Tj is left to take the reigns of the family haulage business. Yet things are looking bad for the company and TJ is determined to hold on to it, as tight as she can. When someone has it in for TJ and the business, Rory, luckily is there to help out.

What starts as Rory chasing TJ, when she is in no place to date. Rory is determined to make her see sense, and see just how great they could be, together. I love the banter from Rory and the funny lines, he perfectly delivers. TJ is headstrong but selfless. Yet she knows Rory is different and she can't deny the huge attraction she feels towards Rory.

Like I said, this story easily lives up to the first in this series. It's just as entertaining, the suspense and shock factor is excellent again. Plus the characters keep getting better.

Well I did write it - so I sure hope I like it!!!! My beta readers all hounded me for more during the writing process. They got most upset when I hadn't written any more. They've now all read it at least three or four times and still seem to think it's great

But as they say "Self - praise is no recommendation."

I really loved writing this story for Rory and TJ.

So try it for yourself.

It's a full length, fast paced novel of approximately 142,500 words.

Hope you enjoy it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the second book in this series. Really love the concept of this book with the twelve operatives with enhanced abilities. Rory and TJ's story is a great love story and it is matched with the suspense of the main story line. I love the relationship that exists between the group and especially the banter between Quade and Jazz. Look forward to reading the next instalment in this series.

After reading the first book in the Centre Games series, Finding Trust, I didn’t think it would be possible for Natalie Gayle to write something better……….BUT SHE DID!!! Now, how do I explain how much I loved this book?
Before I begin to extol the virtues of Rory, I have to say that I really love the concept of this series – twelve men and women with special abilities because of animal DNA injected at the time of conception. Their human DNA had been spliced with that of the twelve animal signs of the Chinese zodiac. Each one is an individual. The setting means a lot to me because it is set in locations that I know well. Natalie Gayle has created a delicious mixture of fantasy and reality. I say delicious because this series contains some seriously hot guys!
This is Rory and TJ’s story and it is definitely a complicated one. Now I can talk about Rory aka Surfer Boy. His nickname says it all, but you also need to picture blonde sun-streaked hair, warm chocolate brown eyes and a ripped body, in other words, the complete package.
Pixie is everything Rory would want in a woman – tiny but with sweet curves and a mane of white blonde hair. But what sets her apart from other women is her heart, a heart which worries more about others than herself. I loved the fact that I got to spend time with characters from the first book in the series as well as a few new characters, some of whom made my skin crawl.
However, this is not just a love story although there is plenty of that component. It is so much more. It’s also full of suspense and every chance I could I would read Finding Judgement, even if it was only a couple of pages while I waited for the washing to finish. It also kept me awake last night because I couldn’t get to sleep until I had finished it. Rory has usurped Braden as # 1 in my heart and that’s saying a lot from someone who is a cat person.
I gave Finding Judgement 5 Super Stars! Roll on Book 3!

The temperature just went sky high in the land down under…

I loved this second installment of the series! Brayden and Rihanna wormed their way into my heart in Finding Trust and Rory and TJ have moved right in with them. The series continues to embrace family in its many forms and this full-length novel showcases the wonderful highs and incredible lows that it brings. Rory Southall was introduced in book one as the easy-going, laid back member of the elite government team and we learn more about the serious depths he hides behind a winning grin. A chance encounter with TJ Walsh months ago stayed with him and he was surprised but elated to find her as his next assignment. His team was investigating problems in the food supply chain and TJ, unwittingly, was at the center of it all. Would Rory find TJ only to lose her as quickly?

Nothing is as comforting and exasperating as family and this story reveals it all. Loss, betrayal and murder stand side-by-side with sacrifice, unconditional support and love. The author effortlessly weaves such heart-felt emotion into a story that gives us intrigue and suspense in equal measure. I loved TJ’s character – she was strong and willing to do anything for her family. Rory was the almost reluctant shining knight of armor who didn’t feel he was everything that TJ needed or deserved. Seeing them come together under such incredible circumstances was a treat. Another well-written chapter in the series – I can’t wait to see who is up next!

So when I started reading this second book in this series, I was hoping for two things. One that this one wouldn't start off slow, like the first book. And two that it would pick up relatively quickly. And I'm happy to say that both of those happened at least to me. Though I do have to say there were some parts of the book that didn't necessarily need to be there. I like these books can be read as stand alones.
I really enjoyed Rory in the first book, so I was really happy to read his book. I really liked Rory in this book and glad we got to know him better. He's such a sweet, fun and all around good guy. Not to mention he's hot.

I really felt for TJ, she has such a heartbreaking background. But through it all she didn't crumple and give up. She's independent and smart, and feisty. But she has a lot resting on her shoulders.

I definitely have to say I enjoyed this second book more than the first. The story line was a little bit deeper. And again this book has a little bit of everything.

I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars!!!

Rory is strong, sexy male who has his sights set on the sexy, feisty female T.J. that later Rory nicknames Pixie. so cute. T.J. ihas been trying to keep her family business up and running ever since the death of her father and brother and it's not been easy. Rory is offering help, but T. J. is so bull headed will she accept it. The relationship between Rory and T.J. is like a cat and mouse, Rory is bound and determine to prove they belong together and T. J. wants it but is skiddish. This book was awesome love the banter between the two. looking forward to read the one.

In this book we follow the story of Rory Southall, another agent with mutated DNA and his attraction to mystery woman TJ Walsh. A chance encounter leaves them both thinking of each other and when they are thrown together again the sparks fly.

I love this original series and the twists and turns involved in both the love story and the action on the side.

After a wonderful start to the series with Finding Trust, Natalie Gayle has followed up with the arguably better Finding Judgement.

This is a fantastic series!

All I can say is “Wow”. I love this book. I will now be getting the complete series. Great job Natalie Gayle! Non-stop action could not stop reading. At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but once I started I was hooked!

It can be read on its own, but I am now looking forward to the series. Rory is just perfect. And the intimate scenes are spectacular. You left me breathless!
I like that there is none of the normal “girl drama” that tends to screw with the story. This story grabs you and holds you. You will laugh, you will cry, you will fall in love!

I definitely enjoyed this one better! I'm not sure what exactly it was but probably Rory's character was just charming and all around awesome and the pacing was just right. I couldn't stop reading this one too, the characters interactions had a great rapport and dynamic. You saw more of the team dynamic now than before. Plus I enjoyed Rory and TJ's chemistry it was well developed and I liked their story. Getting to know the boss was also interesting you can surely see the build up of other storylines and I can't wait to read on about the team!

Finding Judgement is book 2 in the Centre Games series. Check out my review for book 1 (Finding Trust – Brayden and Rihanna’s story) at https://www.goodreads.com/review/show.... Each book spotlights a different couple, but for the backstory and character introduction, I would read book 1 before 2. It may not be necessary, but it’s probably helpful to follow that way.

Book 1 introduces us to the Centre, the background of the operatives and Rory. It also gives us a glimpse of Pixie. I honestly expected this to be Quade and Jazz’s story, but Natalie Gayle is obviously sucking us more and more into their story before we get it.
Rory had a brief introduction to TJ (Pixie as Rory calls her) at the end of book 1. It’s now 3 months later and he’s still thinking about the little ballsy blonde. We know Rory as Brayden’s funny, goofy and insightful friend or “brother”. We learn so much more about Rory in this story.

TJ is running her father’s trucking company after the unexpected and suspicious (at least in her eyes) death of her father and brother. Unfortunately, the insurance company didn’t find it suspicious and they decided not to pay out on the truck or the life insurance. That is leaving TJ and the business in serious debt and she is barely managing to keep her head above water to pay the bills.

After genetically modified milk is found at a processing plant, the Centre operatives are working on this case to identify where it’s coming from. When TJ is set up and assaulted on the job, Rory comes to her rescue. She has a broken ankle and Rory is assigned to keep her safe. He pretends to be her boyfriend when her cousin, Kelvin, pushes TJ to marry him (gross I know) and Rory can tell that TJ is afraid of him. The threats keep coming when damage is done to the other trucks and an explosion happens at her family home injuring her mother, aunt, brother and sister. Rory helps TJ keep everything together while the Centre continues their investigation. Everything is pointing at Kelvin and his dad, TJ’s uncle, being behind everything. Everything blows up when, on her deathbed, TJ’s mother asks her to get married. Rory refuses to allow TJ to marry Kelvin. He knows TJ is afraid of him and Rory is already falling in love with her. TJ agrees, but it enrages her cousin and uncle.

Rory helps TJ overcome intimacy issues, due to an assault when she was 18. TJ helps Rory overcome the demons he’s battling at some of the things he’s done working for the Centre. The biggest battle is against Max and Kelvin. How far are they willing to go and for what reason?

I felt like this was darker than the first book in the series, but I didn’t like it less or more. Pixie was almost Rihanna’s opposite. She knew how she felt and was with Rory 100%. There were no questions about her feelings. The biggest question was how to overcome the evil that was in her family. I enjoy seeing the different aspects of the dominant DNA too. Some of Rory’s canine characteristics really came through in the story – the loyalty, compassion and touchy feely affection-seeking qualities stood out to me.

I liked that we got to see the more human side of Tom too. Since he’s a major part of the Centre, I think this helps. I was questioning his motives in the first book, because he didn’t seem to care as much about his operatives. You get more from him in this book and you can understand why they respect him so much. I love the Jazz-Tom aspect too. She became a much bigger character and you can’t help, but enjoy the way she interacts with everyone. She’s professional and smart, but also goofy and playful. Getting to see more POVs in this story was also nice. We even got to see the POV of the evil Max. I was really curious about the history with Max and Tom.

Wrapping up this story, I was much more eager to read more of the Centre series.

I fell in love with Rory in Finding Trust, book one of Natalie Gayle's Centre Games Series, and I couldn't wait to get my hands on his book, Finding Judgement.

After a brief chance encounter in Finding Trust, Rory and TJ haven't been able to get each other out of their heads, so imagine their surprise when TJ is Rory's newest assignment. Rory is working with the Centre to investigate some genetically modified milk which TJ just happens to be transporting, unbeknownst to her, but TJ is actually in a lot more danger than either of them realized.

One thing I've come to love about the Centre Games series is the amount of danger and suspense. Every once in a while I want to read a book that'll keep me on the edge of my seat and Natalie Gayle has definitely managed that with both books I've read so far.

So let's get to the characters, shall we?! Rory... Sigh! I absolutely loved him in the first book and fell even harder in the second. He's the class clown, if you will. Always looking to lighten the mood and bring his friends out of whatever slump they're in. But I loved to see his serious side come out when it came to taking care of TJ and her family.

TJ took me a little while to warm up to but I ended up liking her in the end. She has a lot on her plate and is so used to dealing with everything on her own that it's hard for her to let Rory take the reigns but once she did it was easy to see her for who she really was... A vulnerable woman with way too many responsibilities and no one to help her.

The relationship between TJ and Rory happened super quick... Like in the span of a couple of hours they were calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend... But I really think it worked in this instance. Not to mention the fact that the chemistry between them was off the charts. I do have one serious gripe that I feel needs to be mentioned though... I get that Rory has super senses and can smell way more than your average person but I don't need to hear that he can smell her arousal every other page... I mean, we get that she's aroused, but really! It's just too much to hear about it constantly, at least in my opinion.

While I enjoyed Finding Judgement more than the first book in the series I had a really hard time with the last few chapters. After everything went down, I felt that Rory's reaction and feelings were drastically uncharacteristic, and I'm thinking maybe they were just put in there to add a little conflict to an otherwise perfect relationship. Honestly, I would have been happier without them but that's just my opinion.

Overall, Finding Judgement was a great romantic suspense novel and while I've decided to not go forward with the rest of the series for now, I may come back to it at a later date.

The second involves around Rory. The centre agent with canine DNA as well as human DNA. He is fun, sweet and a really good guy. Him and his team are set a mission from their boos, Tom Anderson to investigate cows at a dairy ranch.

TJ is a feisty, smart women who's father and brother died in a accident, he mother has cancer and she is has to look after her younger siblings, Marcus and Katie. She has taken over her father's business, Walsh Haulage but the business isn't making a lot of money and she is finding it hard to make ends meet.

Rory and TJ meet when Tj is ambushed while driving one of her trucks and it's Rory who swoops in and saves the day. The attraction is there from the word go but TJ doesn't want a relationship as she has too many family problems at the present time. Lots of situations occur that result in Rory and TJ tying the knot in front of her mother at her bedside.

I really don't want to give too much away because it would be so easy to but TJ is in a bad situation and it's Rory and the team that are they to help and protect her and her family.

Great second book in the series, really loved Rory in the first book so i was glad he has his own story. I felt that the book in parts, was a bit long winded and some chapters really didn't need to be there for the story to flow but it didn't harm the book as it could make you feel an even bigger connection with the characters. Really looking forward to reading book 3, Dylan's story. I love the snippets we see of Quade and Jazz in this book. I'm really impatient when it comes to there story but i'm sure it will be worth the wait. Definitely worth recommend for these HOT, SEXY group of males we get to read about.

Finding Judgement is the second book in the Centre Games Series, however it can be read as a stand- alone. I have not had the opportunity to read the first book in the series but based on my experience with Finding Judgement I can see that this is going to be a great series.

The story line was quite unique for me as this is the first time I am reading about agents whose DNA had been spliced with that of the twelve animal signs of the Chinese zodiac. This led their five senses being heightened to match the animal DNA that their human cells had been spliced with.

It's been awhile since I have read a book where I absolutely loved all the characters. I especially loved the interaction between Quade and Dr. Jazz Carter. It was fun to see these two always quibbling about something and refusing to acknowledge how they actually felt about each other. I hope Ms. Gayle will write their story soon.

I thought the chemistry between the male and female protagonist was quite realistic. T.J and Rory were quite good together. I absolutely enjoyed their interaction. I found Rory to be quite the gentleman. T.J. is a very self reliant female who found it very hard to accept help when it was being offered.

The mystery element was quite riveting. It had me turning the pages as I so badly wanted to know what was going to happen next. This was quite an enjoyable read. It pulled me in from the very first page and I just could not put it down.

This is my first time reading this author's work and I am definitely looking forward to more of her work.

The story has laughs, secrets, suspense, kidnapping, betrayal, grief, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading that book(s) first:
Finding Trust (Centre Games, #1)

The “Centre” is a group of 12 operatives in a top secret organization who were genetically altered as part of a scientific experiment. They were created and born via in-vitro fertilization so they have DNA that also consists of the animals of the Chinese zodiac signs. With that altered DNA he has special abilities like super hearing, smelling, and sight. Each of the 12 members 6 male and 6 female have more of one animal’s DNA then another.

This is TJ and Rory’s story. The Centre is investigating TJ’s trucking company but on the first night she is injured and almost kidnapped. Rory saves TJ but she is stubborn and will not get help for herself before taking care of her responsibilities. When weird things start happening around TJ they wonder just what is going on. Can they trust anyone or is everyone out to ruin TJ? Rory is going to take care of everything and protect her no matter what. Even if that means by force as she is determined to do everything herself. When her family is attacked Rory wonders if she will look at him differently if he protects her from her own family.

I loved these characters and also the side characters. I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

No Sophomore Slump Here!

Ms. Gayle has done it again. I just finished reading Finding Judgement and I loved it so very much. The first book in the series Finding Trust was great but there was an element missing for me and that was the villain. I didn't get to know them to really get a good hate one..this time POW I got all that and more!!

This is the story of Rory and TJ. We met Rory in the first book and I loved him almost instantly. I am so glad book 2 was his! Rory met TJ briefly in book 1 and they re-connect in this book. The chemistry between them in very believable and not forced at all. The mystery kept me captivated and I lost a lot of sleep to see how everything would play out. The baddies in the book are super bad and I wanted to jump in there and kick a little but! Tom aka The Boss... love him! I hope that he gets a story because I would love to know what is really going on in that brain of his!

I was happy to see the whole cast of characters again and I loved that they had a big part in this story. I truly laughed, sighed and oh yes, I cried! I love a good mystery and I got it, I love a good romance and I got it and I love a great supporting cast that keeps you interested and I most definitely got it!

Thank you Ms. Gayle for putting out another fabulous book! When do I get me some Dylan?

Love the second installation of this series! Rory is the perfect male specimen and total Alpha Male. His story is so exciting that I did not want to put the book down. He can save me anytime!

It took me a bit to get used to the writing in the first book since the author is based out of Australia and things flow a bit differently but a couple chapters in and I was hooked. This love story between Rory and TJ is so different from the last book and I am so happy for that. It is a full story on its own and doesn’t stop until you know how their love survives.

The Centre operatives are all special and who would have guessed how powerful they are. They are each uniquely modified and use their “enhancements” for good. It’s an amazing story from beginning to end and there is action throughout. The characters are all well written and developed through the book and I am on the edge waiting for the next installment.

It’s an amazing story from beginning to end and there is action throughout. The characters are all well written and developed through the book and I am on the edge waiting for the next installment.

Finding Judgement picks up where Finding Trust leaves off and has great character flow. Again I loved the plot with its twits and turns. The story moves at a good pace. Rox and Quade make another appearance in this book with a side mission so more sparks are flying. T.J or as Rory calls her Pixie has a skeezie cousin who is determined to marry her. and a crazy jealous uncle who wants it all. So full of suspense. This can be enjoyed as a stand alone book, but you should really enjoy the whole series.
The one thing that I didn't like was it seemed to be repetitive. The characters would have inner dialogue then speak exactly what they thought all the time. Once or twice wouldn't have caught my attention but because it happened so much it did. It wasn't enough to make me put it down. I loved Pixie and Rory. Rory is fun loving and the jokester, yet he is the most deadly of the bunch being the sharpshooter. No one messes with his new family and he has staked his claim.

I was given this book from Book Empire Productions for an honest review.
Once again Natalie Gayle has taken us into the world of the Centre Games with a absolutely captivating story of love and suspense. I found I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to find out what was going to happen next. This was a wonderfully written fast pace book.

All the characters from Book 1 are back and prove to be awesome once again. Natalie Gayle does a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life and includes all of them within each story.

This book was TJ and Rory's story. Loved how TJ was a strong and independent, determined woman trying to provide for her family. Rory knows what he wants and goes for it. Their story was entertaining, romantic and filled with action.

I am so looking forward to reading book 3 and hoping it's about Quinn and Jazz.

>Book Review – Finding Judgement –

>I am an independent viewer. This is the second book in the Centre Games series and ends in an HEA.

>This book tells the story of lovable Rory and his woman, TJ. There are a lot of suspense surrounding things that are happening to TJ. All of these suspicious things bring out the alpha in Rory and a few insecurities. The reader is introduced to more of the hybrid members of the Centre, along with getting some updates on Rhianna and Brayden from book one.

>This series is uniquely set in Australia and uses Australia spellings and phrasing, giving the story an exotic appeal. The author’s attention to detail is incredible. The descriptions of how to work the gears on the truck were specific without being boring. I really can’t wait to read more about these guys.

>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 5 stars.

This is such a great series! After reading Finding Trust I have been anxiously waiting for the next book in the series, and it did not disappoint. When reading Finding Trust, I thought Brayden was sexy and hot, however, Rory is awesome. Rory and TJ were a great couple and their chemistry and romance was very believable. Rory was very caring and compassionate and took care of Pixie even when she resisted. There was suspense, romance, humor and action. It was wonderful reading about the characters from the first book and they added depth to the story. I highly recommend these books and can’t wait for the next one.
I received this book from the author for an honest review.

Natalie Gayle did it again! Rory thinks it is funny the way his buddy Brayden fell so hard and fast for his wife Rihanna. Now he finds himself in the same predicament, except that he learned a few lessons from his friend. TJ is trying to hold her life and the family business together but someone is out to destroy both. Then Rory comes into her life and nothing is the same. They help each other face some demons from the past and fall in love in the process. Loved this story and can't wait for the next book in the series! I have found a new series and author to follow!

This was a great second book. I love how the author decided to skip the obvious couple of Jazz and Quade and focus on Rory and Pixie. The storyline at times seemed to get a little deep, with Pixie's history with the gang of guys, but other than that it maintained it's light heartedness and consistency. one thing I love is seeing characters grow, but sticking to the base of how they were introduced and keeping the storyline consistent with the other books. This one succeeds.
