Backpacked a mostly true story

Rate this book
When Louise arrives in London with nowhere to stay, no money and no friends she finds herself at the Bayswater Backpackers Hostel. Amongst the group of clueless travellers is a heartbroken South African, an Australian girl addicted to cough medicine, two blonde Sydneysiders, a manic depressive IT worker, a thieving New Zealand police officer and a bunch of reckless backpackers intent on partying and having fun.
Louise must keep her valuables safe, her sanity intact, get a job and try to survive the crazy life of backpacking.
Set in the early 1990’s before social media and mobile phones, Backpacked tells the mostly true story of living in one of the world’s great cities where everyone behaves badly.
