I love love love Celina and Adrik like omg. they are tied with Nico and Josie for my fav couple (tbh I like Celina and Adrik more because they match each other's freak tewww well), this book was everything. Adrik and Celina are both hilarious like I was cracking up and dying the entire time and the way Adrik stood TEN TOES down for her in everything situation was so ughghghhg. She earned her damn place at that table and he supported her every step of the way- the man went to WAR for her. They are literally Bonnie and Clyde and the way he is obsessed with her is so peak like ugh. Don't get me started on my goat Celina because she clocked EVERYONE. I lowk hate how there's always a second female "love" interest competing with the fmc and I'm so glad there wasn't in this book, but Natasha was so funny lmao. Celina did not play around with anyone and her pseudo-friendship with Gianna and Josie was so fun to read about. ENZO is so adorable and I will be reading the house of Bedlam when it's finished (In a bajillion years I fear) Overall I just LOVE this couple so much and this story was so interesting, plot and characters both PEAK. (Justice for Silvio and Sabrina though..)

The writing is good, but the characters are immature. The heroine is childish and makes questionable decisions, failing to convey an image of power and intelligence. The hero initially gives a better impression of the type of character the author wants to portray, but he softens in an inconsistent way as the story progresses. The couple has a lot of chemistry, but they both act like stubborn teenagers. It's a good romance book with a touch of darkness, but I wouldn't classify it as a dark romance.
*Note for anyone who wants to read the book: the marriage of convenience trope is not the priority in the story. Until halfway through the book, the couple is still just engaged.

I redownloaded wattpad after 5 years just to read this and it did not disappoint. Do I think there were some unnecessary plot points? Yes. Did I still eat it up? 100%. This is what I need when I say enemies to lovers because I truly believe Adrik absolutely despised Celina in the beginning and vice versa which made the tension so good.

THIS BOOK WAD SOOOOOOO GOOOOD WHAT THE HELLY..I did not expect this to be so good ??after the disappointment which was hideaway I was like ‘ugh getaway is probably not gonna be good either’ ‘it won’t be as good as runaway’ BOYYYY I WAS WRONG. This is why we never judge a book before we read it cuz this is actually peak literature. the tropes were done so perfectly like this is the BEST enemies to lovers EVER. On my soul I’ve never read anything like this. They hated eachother SO MUCH like 80% of the book was tension and hatred I was questioning if they would even get together but when they did it was so worth it oh my goodness . Another thing I love about bazookahs books is how well they’re interconnected like . I would never expected Zlata was adriks sister and kai died bc he was a rat in the Russian army??? That was so unexpected and interesting . The whole book was just so good and fit perfectly into place ughh I just loved it . ANOTHER THING I LOVED WAS THAT THERE WAS A STRONG BADDIE FMC LIKE SHE ALWAYS STOOD ON BUSINESS AND COULD ACTUALLY FIGHT HER OWN BATTLES LIKE I LOVR CELINA SM😍😍😼. The whole plot was just so good like the backstory in Egypt, Adriks backstory???, Arturo finding a way to ruin everyone’s life in every book , the whole arranged marriage/their journey , Silvio’s secret family & that being the start to Celina’s villian era and so much more. I can’t even summarize the plot properly it’s just tew good.I loved that two really strong ppl were put together and there was no imbalance in power cuz in other books it’ll be a weak girl getting saved by a strong man or a weak boy with a strong woman. With this book they were both equally as evil as eachother and when one went low the other went lower so this meant there was an INSANE amount of drama which had me growing grey hairs . Very hard to get through. The beginning sounded promising but as the story progressed the repetition was very boring. And it just felt like the story was being draggedddd. The girl was super inconsistent you’re either a pushover or not. I wanted a badass fmc but she was not that 😐 the guy was consistent and a dick for the most part but what he was and did was at least consistent. the girl would so easily fold and was easily humiliated and manipulated by the mcm. And she always took him back. I needed yearning and begging and if he ever did do that it wasn’t done right since it wasn’t memorable at least for me.

By far my favorite Bazookah book, and definitely my favorite of her FMCs because she's a badass who knows how to fight and isn't a complete damsel in distress. Not to mention she's hilarious- there were times in this book where I actually laughed at loud. Also I'm a sucker for enemies to lovers and there were parts in this book that had me swooning (and I'm not talking about the smut).
All that being said, as much as I love Bazookah and know she has more talent in her pinky than I do in my whole body, I do think this book fell victim to what her other books have- the plot drags on. I know it's an enemies to lovers book, but damn. One second their fighting, the next they're fucking. Then the next second they're fighting, then fucking, they're having a heart to heart and by the end of the chapter they're fighting again. I mean I love drama, but can't a bitch just enjoy the moment??? Not to mention, some of the plot devices seemed far-fetched and just striaght up dumb, like SPOLIER ALERT: when Celina pretended to be conspiring with Adrik's mother just to end up killing her. I meannnn, ypu definitely could've gone abput that a differnet way, especially since that whole fiasco only lasted 1 chapter (and also his mother was totally his to kill) That being said, I read all her books within a apan of a week while on Spring break and barely slept, so 100% her books are worth the read.
All that being said, as much as I love Bazookah and know she has more talent in her pinky than I do in my whole body, I do think this book fell victim to what her other books have- the plot drags on. I know it's an enemies to lovers book, but damn. One second their fighting, the next they're fucking. Then the next second they're fighting, then fucking, they're having a heart to heart and by the end of the chapter they're fighting again. I mean I love drama, but can't a bitch just enjoy the moment??? Not to mention, some of the plot devices seemed far-fetched and just striaght up dumb, like SPOLIER ALERT: when Celina pretended to be conspiring with Adrik's mother just to end up killing her. I meannnn, ypu definitely could've gone abput that a differnet way, especially since that whole fiasco only lasted 1 chapter (and also his mother was totally his to kill) That being said, I read all her books within a apan of a week while on Spring break and barely slept, so 100% her books are worth the read.

BESTTTTT BOOOOKKKK EVER!!!!! I’m soo in love with the book, honestly I’m so in love with the whole series “The Away Series”. The series made me fall deeply in love with reading; I need these books hard copy asap! Can wait for the author to actually publish them. When I tell you about characters development! Plot twist that will have you clutching your pearls! Like there is nothing that is happening that you would have saw coming! The book is just something that you will lose sleep for just because you want to finish it so bad Andddd the love story between Adriko & Celina! Jesus Christ! It’s AMAZING! One thing I will say it this book and the whole series is worth your time! You might fall in love with reading all over again on a whole other level. When I tell you I cried for daysss after finishing this book just speaks volume! Soooo go read it!
One of my favorite things is how the FMC is strong and sooo badass and she’s not showed as weak so yeah one of those muscle mamies types lol (not literally muscles but sis is like that woman from the movie “Colombiana”) but I don’t want to get into details too much because I feel by how you see me express how good this book is should just convince you enough to go on Wattpad and read it!

this took forever to read because it was an ongoing book, meaning I've actually forgotten what happens in the beginning and middle. Literally couldn't tell you a single thing. Kinda wish I just waited until it was completed but oh well.
All I know is you've got a badass fmc, which is my favourite, and a badass mmc, which is also my favourite.
Lots and lots of action which I also love.
The fmc is so quick-witted and has the best comebacks ever, I don't know how she does it but she's actually so funny. But she's also very intricately written cuz she deffo has a lot of layers to her. Same with the mmc, they both have such heart-breaking pasts. Adrik deserves the whole world, reading about his past made me so upset.
They're also soooooooo sooooo sooo cute with each other, very precious.
Love all of the side characters as well, like Sitto and Enzo. Also love the lil moments where you see characters from the previous 2 books in the series.
Overall, it was an entertaining book from what I remember. Did get a bit confused in certain parts but I think that's down to me just not remembering what happened.

I will die on the hill defending this book till my last breath. I’ve been reading for years and this is the best slow burn, dark romance, Actual enemies to lovers, Where they’re actually enemies and it’s not just hate. The story and the plot are great and it’s not just entirely focused on the characters falling in love. The character development is also great, to the point you’ll go back to read the first chapter bc you can’t believe they’re the same person. The fmc is strong and not a weak submissive character. The mmc pov is just chef kiss.
My biggest wish is to die and reincarnate as celina.
After finishing this series nothing has ever come close to it and trust me when I say this is the best book ever.

This is no doubt the best book I've ever read!!! It had my favorite tropes: enemies to lovers and marriage of convenience. And I love that there's a strong female lead and not the typical "innocent mafia wife", the book was a slow burn which I also really loved. The writing is sooooo good and there's a really good plot, if someone gave me this book I would never guess that it's a wattpad book. This is definitely my favorite book from the trilogy and I can't wait until bazookah (the author) writes another one🩷

ahem ADRIK AND CELINA KOZLOV YALL this book had me on a chokehold lol yes it's enemies to lovers marriage of convenience and dark romance. And he's zookah did an amazing job with this, Adrik he's I mean he's not real like Nico too which is sad but yes this book was amazing the plot and writing? yes amazing, I love this book I really recommend it, both dark MC. the ending was cute really. his "feelings are mutual baby" man he's just a yes chef kiss. you would never get bored of this we got tension in it Ans everything.
