Rate this book
In 2002, James Burns, a graphic designer, was diagnosed with a detached retina, which threatened his eyesight. He had to undergo eye surgery on both of his eyes, and worried about ever seeing again. After recovering from his ordeal, and at age 45, he wrote and drew his first comic book, "Detached" about the experience, as well as the fear and doubts that were connected with it.
