ABSURDLY PATHOLOGICAL, MERCILESSLY REAL, GATHERING ITS OWN SINISTER MOMENTUM FOR THE ULTIMATE BRUSH WITH WELTSCHMERZ, 2009 AN AUTOPSY CAPTURES THE READER IN THE CACOPHONY OF VOICES AND TRAIN HORNS THAT HAUNT THIS YOUNG CAPTIVE OF HIS OWN DRUNK MYTHS
"there are sections of his prose that are stunning, where Muller allows himself to relax and write something untouched by his cultural predecessors" -TC Daily Planet
"A raunchy yet edifying tale for the youth" -H.L. Mencken, American Mercury Reader
Seedy, trippy, stream-of-consciousness pseudo prose poetry that put me in mind of the great counterculture writers of the sixties and seventies, only it was written very recently, and it's not derivative at all. PS: it's such a lovely and immaculate read that I read it aloud in places just to feel the words in my mouth.
Mixing both fantasy and the crushing reality of existing in the modern world. Great storytelling with a stream-of-conscious like cadence. Loved it from start to finish. RIP 2009.
