The Third Space: A Nonconformist’s Guide to the Universe

Rate this book
The Third A Nonconformist's Guide to the Universe is a dedication to Zander Keig, a pragmatic man who has overcome a lifetime of challenges and adversity.

Zander is a pioneer of the third space. He has charted his own course through life's obstacles and is now living it to the fullest and advocating for others. This book highlights his talent for transforming negative experiences into positive learning opportunities, and serves as a lighthouse beacon in the darkness for readers, urging them to do the same.

Through dichotomous subjects like diplomacy, forgiveness, trust, intuition, and resilience, when the road is forked, Zander guides the reader through untrodden paths.

He explores the importance of accepting information from others, rather than imposing prescriptive ideas, as well as subscribing to independent decision-making, and striking a balance wherever possible.

Take the road less traveled and enjoy a thought-provoking exploration of various aspects of Zander's life, insights, and personal growth.

This book is exactly what’s needed in these hyper-polarized times. Although we are biologically biased to see the world in binaries, the truth is that peaceful coexistence in a complex world requires comfort with the spaces in between.

Whoever you think Zander Keig is (if you don’t already know him), you’re probably wrong. Zander has lived a genuinely wild, nonlinear life from day one, and he brings a perspective that can be enriching and illuminating no matter where you land on any spectrum. He presents the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful in a way that can be confronting without being threatening — a rare skill.

In a time when extreme voices are amplified for clicks and views, and the steady voice of moderation can feel lost or nonexistent, it’s more important than ever to listen to people speaking from the third space.

The Third Space isn’t about ideology, and it won’t tell you what to think. Instead, it offers tools — and a possible roadmap — for living your own truth from a place of inner power and balance, while navigating a world full of fellow humans who are also trying to live their truths.

The Third Space is precisely the space we all need to tap into to calm and reason, to engage in a spiritual reckoning. Zander Keig delivers a compelling account of his formative years that transitions into a wealth of knowledge on how to arrive within yourself, acquire certainty by pushing aside all obstacles, and reach your dream. Your dream isn’t too far away. It is within reach. If you fail to reach it, then simply move forward and look around. You may very well find your moral compass, your ethical guide that emanates from that space, which we often ignore because we are too distracted by noise. Kick the noise to the curb and tread softly through your forest of wonders. It is within us to find happiness. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I read a chapter or two at a time, looking out at the Gulf, inhaling and exhaling my way to happiness and all things within reach.
