Accidentally Forever

Rate this book
In the world of romance, Aria Montgomery knows two things for sure:

She’s not in love with the man everyone thinks she is.

And she refuses to let herself love Crew McTavish.

Her former best friend is spiraling, and her photography career seems to be standing in her father’s shadow. Aria knows she needs to find her way out of the darkness. Yet she’s afraid if she allows Crew inside, he’ll not only take over—but he’ll get hurt in the process.

Crew McTavish enjoys being the mysterious friend of the Montgomerys. They may joke that he’s dating his way into their family one-by-one, but in the end, it’s only one Montgomery he wants: Aria.

Their pull to one another is inevitable and once a line is crossed, the heat between them ignites.

Only his family’s dark secrets threaten to pull him down and when Aria is threatened, Crew will stop at nothing to protect her.

Even if it means watching the world he’s built burn.

I loved this book! It was so raw and it grappled a lot of trauma so trigger warning, but it was so heart wrenchingly beautiful. Aria & Crew's love story was magical. I highly recommend.

We finally get Crew and Aria’s story, and it’s one I’ve been looking forward to for a long time.

4.5 It's Always Been You Stars

Crew is not a Montgomery but has been adopted into the family as close friends have a tendency of being, it didn't matter that his relationship with Daisy didn't work out, they were still friends and were better suited that way. He was best friends with some of Aria's other cousins as well, so it was only natural that they were constantly in each other's orbits. That didn't make it easy for her constant battle with herself about him being off limits. I understood her reasoning; you don't poach your besties/cousins' ex, but seriously, Crew and Daisy were still friends. Daisy has moved on...like she's way over him, so what's the difference?

There is so much happening in this story, and it would be easy to give spoilers, but if you have been following my reviews, you know that's a no-no for me. I can tell you that Crew McTavish has the worst parents; his backstory will have you sobbing like a baby, and Aria's friend Travis, who everyone thinks she's in love with, will have you emotionally torn in so many ways. And, if you want to know more about my cryptic statement, you'll have to grab a copy of ACCIDENTALLY FOREVER and find out for yourself just what I mean.

Photographer Aria has felt a keen sense of impostor syndrome as she struggles to emerge from her very famous, very talented father’s very long shadow. She’s also trying to maintain a connection to an unstable artist “friend” whose continued struggle with addiction has included physical assault on her person. When her frienemy with benefits Crew intercedes during a particularly brutal attack, he’s initially sent to jail until it’s shown that he was defending Aria.

Brought up in wealth but treated terribly by his cold and violent parents, Crew has refused to acknowledge the true depth of affection he has for Aria. He’s convinced himself that she’s too good for him and she couldn’t possibly return his feelings, so he affects an indifferent, even derisive attitude towards her, sating himself physically with her, but refusing more. Eventually he’s unable to maintain the ruse, and they openly embark on a relationship.

Threats from the outside loom over their budding romance, and the couple must overcome a great deal before reaching their HEA.

I was fortunate to have been furnished an advance reader copy from the author, and I’m sharing my honest review.

Be prepared—from the very first page—to have your heart gripped and your emotions held hostage by Accidentally Forever. Carrie Ann Ryan has always had a way of weaving heartfelt stories, but this time, she goes even deeper. This isn’t just about the romance between two people (although that part is utterly swoon-worthy)—this is about their pasts, their pain, their healing. And my goodness, it hurts so beautifully.

Crew’s story broke me. I can’t remember the last time I cried from reading a main character’s childhood backstory—it was that raw and real. He’s been a part of the Montgomery family for years, best friends with one, loved by all, and yet still carrying the scars from a family that never showed him the love he deserved. And then there’s Aria—sweet, strong Aria. Everyone assumes she’s in love with her best friend Travis, and she plays along for his sake. But we know where her heart truly lies.

Crew and Aria have danced around their feelings for years, sharing stolen moments and one-night promises they swear won’t happen again. But the heart wants what it wants. Their journey is anything but easy—it’s gut-wrenching, messy, and achingly real. But Carrie Ann Ryan wraps every painful moment in a warm, comforting blanket of passion, found family, and the kind of love that quietly refuses to let go.

This is the most emotionally gripping instalment of the Montgomery Ink Legacy series yet—and that’s saying a lot. If any couple deserved a breathtaking, soul-deep happy ending, it’s Crew and Aria. And wow… what a journey it was to get there.

Rating: 5/5 – A stunning, emotional rollercoaster that leaves you aching, smiling, and completely fulfilled.

Carrie Ann can do no wrong when it comes to the Montgomery family and her 2nd Gen is just as good.

Crew and aria did the bickering so well but how they stepped up for each other and supported each other made me want to hug both of them. Both of them carrying baggage, but not letting that get in their way.

I love the family dynamics the sarcasm the teasing and most importantly their love of cheese .

Very intrigued for Lexington’s book

Accidentally Forever

What an intense, beautiful and amazing story. Crew grew up in a dysfunctional, physically and emotional and mentally abusive family dynamic relationship. Thankfully he found some friends who took him into their lives and made him one of their family. Along the way he found his forever person, it just took him and Aria awhile to admit that they had feelings for each other. Beautifully written story.

Crew and Aria’s story was an emotional one that will give you all the feels. I love the Montgomery Ink and Montgomery Legacy series and how author Carrie Ann Ryan continue to give us stories in this world. My heart melted with Crew’s interaction with little Nora and I loved seeing Alex and Tabitha throughout this book.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Accidentally Forever is book 8 in Carrie Ann Ryan's Montgomery Ink Legacy series. In this installment Ryan created a story aimed at readers seeking an emotionally charged romance. This installment centers around a forbidden romance, alpha hero, family dynamics and lifelong friendships.

While this is the eighth installment in the series, this is the second book I am reading. Despite starting in the middle of the series it was not difficult to follow.

Accidentally Forever gives us Crew McTavish and Aria Montgomery story. While not a Montgomery, the family embraced Crew from a young age. In the past he dated Aria's cousin, but they were never meant for each other which was affirmed when Daisy found her person. Due to his closeness with the Montgomery family, he and Aria were never out of each other's orbit. Soon a mutual attraction developed between them. However, circumstances opened them up to constantly battling their attraction to each other.

Crew's childhood was less than ideal. Although he came from a wealthy family, he endured constant abuse from the people meant to protect him. Because of this his self-esteem took a blow and he convinced himself that he was no good for Aria. Hence the constant battle with his attraction to her. However, one can only fight for so long.

Aria struggles with living in the shadow of her famous father. Also, while trying to help a fellow artist struggling with addiction, she got caught up in a cycle of abuse. Crew steps in to protect her and soon they couldn't get enough of each other.

Prepare for an emotionally charged romance that grips readers from start to finish. Aria and Crew journey towards happily ever though riddled with doubts, insecurities and pain it found comfort in friendship and found family.

Accidentally Forever is a captivating, emotional tale about healing, redemption and the power of love in overcoming all obstacles. This review was originally posted on Totally Addicted to Reading

Aria Montgomery is a talented photographer who has struggled to have confidence in herself while living in the shadow of her famous photographer father. Everyone thinks she is in love with her best friend, Travis, who has turned to drugs and has become increasingly violent. Crew McTavish is an amazing painter who hides his dark family issues from those around him. Crew and Aria have scorching hot chemistry, but Crew refuses to be Aria's escape even though he loves her. When Crew saves Aria from a brutal attack by Travis, will they finally try for a real relationship? Will Crew once and for all break away from his controlling parents? Will Aria find the confidence in her work as a photographer? Will Travis stand in the way of Aria and Crew's happily ever after? I loved Accidentally Forever by Carrie Ann Ryan! Crew and Aria are an amazing couple with blazing hot chemistry. Accidentally Forever is a roller coaster of emotions from beginning to end. I would highly recommend getting Accidentally Forever and the other books in the Montgomery Ink Legacy series by Carrie Ann Ryan. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Universal

Crew and Aria have been circling each other, their feelings for each other, for years. Then he catches her friend hurting her, and he intercedes, and things take a serious turn. Not only do the two have to finally decide what and who they are to each other, they have to also allow each other their feelings.

Crew and Aria's story broke my heart. Not only is Crew's backstory heartbreaking, but so is Aria's. Crew never felt like he was good enough for her, thanks to the damage his horrible family left him with. So he affected a "don't care" attitude to keep his heart safe, to the detriment of not just Aria's feelings, but their whatever their relationship was. And then there's Aria - she lived her adult professional life in her father's very long, famous shadow, and it left its own damage to her. Then there's the really dark part of their friendship to enemies to more, and damn, it was the probably the most intense, heartbreaking part of this already emotional story. The push and pull, intensity of Aria and Crew about did me in, but I relished every word, and I was cheering when they finally got their hard fought happy ever after.

Aria Montgomery and Crew McTavish spend a lot of time together and a lot of time arguing or bickering over something. Aria also spends her time convincing her friends and family that she isn’t in love with her best friend, a man struggling with addiction who only shows up when he needs something.

Crew has been friends with the Montgomery family for years, even dating at least 1 member of the family (though other think that number is higher). They welcomed him in with open arms when he needed a place to belong. His own family is very different and he loves the way the Montgomerys are. Though the family jokes he is dating around to pick one, he knows the only Montgomery he wants is Aria.

Crew is from a very dysfunctional family and as we get glimpses into the abuse he faced and faces from his parents, it is a wonder he turned out as amazing as he is. He hides a lot about his family from the Montgomerys, fearing they wouldn’t understand, and I couldn’t help but love Aria harder when the curtain is pulled away and she sees what Crew deals with when he is not with her family.

The family thinks these two can’t stand each other, but it’s all an act to keep each other at a distance. Aria is struggling a lot with the direction of her career. Crew sees her talent and nudges her in small ways to explore what she loves. I loved his protective streak, and the way he really hears Aria when she talks about things.

This was an emotional enemies to lovers story with strong family dynamics, overcoming obstacles, and relying on help in times of need. I always love the way the extended Montgomery family comes together, and while sometimes a map is needed to follow the connections between characters, what is never lost is the love they have for each other and the lengths they will go to in order to ensure the ones they love are happy.

Aria and Crew claimed a piece of my heart with their angst-ridden, frenemies to lovers story. Both are in deep denial about their feelings for the other, telling themselves their secret trysts are just to blow off steam through sex, no feelings involved. Crew’s nightmare parents have left him with serious doubts about being worthy of love and capable of giving it without destroying his partner or himself. He thinks he has done a good job of hiding his feelings for Aria, but a few very close friends know the truth. Aria is fighting her own battle with self-worth and loving Crew means dragging him into her own messy life. She is desperately trying to save an old friend who is spiralling out of control and seems determined to take her down with him. Everyone thinks she is in love with him, while she struggles to hide her feelings for Crew.

When Aria is violently attacked, Crew is no longer able to stay on the sidelines. His growly, possessive and protective side come out in full force. Now unwilling to keep their relationship hidden, Crew claims Aria for all to see, including the mammoth Montgomery clan, his despicable parents and Aria’s spiralling stalker. Aria and Crew finally admit their feelings for the other, but neither believes their relationship will last. Each of them is certain that they are unworthy of love and the other will soon realize it and end their relationship. Neither is expecting the full support of their friends and the Montgomery clan who consider Crew to be one of them. Aria and Crew are not alone when trouble comes their way.

I love the supernova hot chemistry between Crew and Aria and the way they defend each other. Crew’s grumpy, growly and intensely alpha demeanor is swoon-worthy. Aria is tougher than she looks, fiercely independent and stands on her own with Crew. She is determined to protect Crew from not only her spiralling and violent “friend”, but also from his horrific parents. I enjoyed all the texts among the friend groups and family. They were funny, enlightening and entertaining. The appearance of so many familiar characters from past Montgomery books just makes my heart happy.

If you are looking for an emotional and thoroughly addictive romance with plenty of spice and drama, then this book is for you. This exceptional book has my highest recommendation.

Accidentally Forever is book 8 in the Montgomery Ink Legacy series and we finally get Aria's story.

Aria is a Montgomery who has seen a lot in her young life. Everyone thinks she is in love with Travis, when in reality she is secretly in love with Crew. She and Travis have had a tumultuous relationship for years including verbal assault and ending with physical assault.

But Aria is not able to give up on him. She saw what her father went through during his battle with addiction and she wants to be there for him if he needs her. He will need the support of friends and family and she wants to be the one to help him.

Crew comes from a dysfunctional family. His mother and father are verbally abusive towards him and each other. This family is completely bonkers and both his mother and father should be in padded cells. How he turned out to be so normal and caring is beyond comprehension.

Crew does not understand why Aria keeps going back to Travis until she tells him about her dad. He does not like it, but he gets it. She does not understand his relationship with his family. Until she goes with him when he is called to the facility his father is in one day.Her eyes are open wide to what he has lived with for his entire life.

As Crew and Aria grow closer together, strange things start happening around Crew's home. He is concerned and calls in Montgomery Security, but he is not overly concerned. Until the day when he is left waiting for Aria.

What will Crew find when he locates Aria?

This is such an emotional book. Carrie Ann Ryan broke me with this story. It combines so many storylines that are generally frowned upon, but are real. They are everyday problems in people's lives. These stories need to be told. Addiction, abuse, assault. These happen everyday to some poor person. And, sadly, it is usually a family member, or someone very close to them. Kudus for taking on these difficult topics.

It has been so long since I have listened to Oscar Reyes, but I really enjoyed him as Crew. His frustration with Aria's need to be with Travis. His animosity towards his parents. His love for the Montgomery's, the family he chose. Lucy Rivers, as Aria, brings all of the passion this story requires. The need to help. Her secret love for Crew. Her vulnerability regarding her art.

**Audiobook Review**

I have been waiting for Crew and Aria’s story. “Accidentally Forever” is a emotional, steamy and chemistry filled enemies to lovers romance that was a great addition to the series.

Crew and Aria have always been attracted to each other for years but have always denied it. Crew is Aria’s best friend’s ex and despite being close with the Montgomerys, he’s always been a mysterious friend to them. They’ve tried to stay away from each other but when Crew goes to Aria’s house and finds someone close to her hurting her, all bets are off. Despite Crew’s dark past, he can’t stay away from the light that Aria brings to his life.

Crew and Aria have undeniable chemistry and it was nonstop from the start. Aria is sweet, genuine and knows what she wants in life. I love how passionate she is with her career and close with her family. Crew is a great guy who had a hard childhood with parents who made it very clear that they didn't want him. My heart broke for young Crew but he found a family with the Montgomerys who are always kind to everyone. His passion for his art shines through and I loved how he made something of himself despite his horrible parents. I loved the passion and chemistry that Aria and Crew shared. The steamy scenes were so good and showed how much they were meant to be together. Crew is so swoony when he becomes protective over Aria. Her kind heart is one of the best things about her even when someone she cares about tries to hurt her. That part of the story had me listening nonstop to find out what was going to happen. The ending was so sweet and I can’t wait for the next Legacy book.

Oscar Reyes and Lucy Rivers narrated as Crew and Aria and they were so good. Oscar’s narration was growly, protective and genuine just like Crew. Lucy did an amazing job bringing the wonderful, sweet and caring Aria to life. Oscar and Lucy were great and I loved listening to them narrate this audiobook.

Carrie Ann Ryan never fails to deliver an emotional story. Accidentally Forever was emotionally intense in all the ways I didn’t realize I needed. Crew and Aria overcome many challenges to get to their happily ever after.

Crew McTavish i’ve been a friend of Montgomery for years. One of his very dear friends is Montgomery and there’s a random joke among them he is trying to marry his way into the family. Crew personnel story is not an easy one, but the Montgomery’s accepted him when he needed a place and a family. Most of the Montgomery clan believe that Crew and Aira couldn’t stand one another, forever what he feels is very, very much the opposite of disliking someone.

Aria Montgomery is a brilliant photographer. She is so strong and has the biggest heart. She cares on a level that is soul deep. She has a best friend that is in a very rough spot in our lives yet she just won’t turn them away. She won’t help enable, but friendship means a lot to her. When that person hurt her physically, Crew was in the right place at the right time. It started a team reaction that maybe two finally can hunt their feelings and not just stolen nights of promises that it was never gonna happen again.

I have been reading Carrie Ann Ryan for well over a decade now. I can vividly remember when she announced the Montgomery Ink series. Ten years later the Montgomery family is still growing and I am falling in love with the next generation. Accidentally Forever gives us the emotional, enemies to lovers story of Crew and Aira. These two have been dancing around one another for far too long. A few stolen moments here and there left them running more even though they said they didn’t. Carrie Ann Ryan very eloquently talks about sensitive topics that need to be talked about. Aria and Crew will take you on an emotional journey, but a little bit of going down the path because you definitely worth it.

Welcome back to Colorado & the Montgomery family…a family so large…that one almost needs a map to know who’s related to who…and if you show an liking to cheese or tattoos…you might get adopted.

Accidentally Forever is Aria Montgomery & Crew McTavish’s story…

Aria is Sebastian’s twin sister & Crew is ‘adopted’ family…as he’s been friends with Lexington Montgomery for years…which makes him family.

Has he dated an Montgomery? Yep…he was featured in Daisy’s story (Last First Kiss) as her ‘plus-one’ to a wedding…and they briefly dated…but decided they were better off as friends.

Because there really is only one Montgomery that Crew wants—Aria.

Aria is trying to ‘save’ someone…someone who doesn’t want to be ‘saved’…but wants all of Aria’s attention.

Crew has ‘family’ issues popping up…

At times they seem like oil & water…because no one really understands why Aria is being so helpful/patient with a friend…that doesn’t want the help—just the attention.

So what happens when they finally….truly…give into their feelings for each other? Can they navigate not only Crew’s family ‘issues’…but Aria’s “issues” with her former best friend?

The answers…plus numerous other Montgomerys popping in and out…can be found in the pages of Accidentally Forever…available April 14. If you haven’t pre-ordered—run…run…run & preorder this book. Every book within the Montgomery Ink Legacy world can be read as a stand-alone…and once you dive into the world, and ‘catch’ up with that particular world—there are even more ‘worlds’ in Carrie Ann Ryan’s backlist.

I love these books & world. There’s just something about an large, loving, in-your-face family that has no problem calling you out…but at the same time, no problem giving all the love, support & cheese as needed. Yes—I had to add in the cheese, this is a Montgomery book after all.

Five out of five stars.

𝑨𝒓𝒊𝒂 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒘’𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒚, 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒐 𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍.

Aria is such a strong character—fiercely loyal, a little stubborn, and trying so hard to carry the weight of someone else’s battles. Watching her navigate the fallout with Travis broke my heart. I loved how Carrie Ann Ryan showed Aria’s internal struggles without ever making her seem weak. It made her strength feel even more powerful.

And Crew. Oh, Crew. He’s the kind of character that sneaks into your soul without warning. His loyalty and the way he quietly stands beside the Montgomerys despite his broken pieces made me love him instantly. His pain, especially dealing with his cruel parents and his fear that he’s too “tainted” for love, was gut-wrenching. I wanted to reach into the book and hug him.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑨𝒓𝒊𝒂 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒘 𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒆—𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕'𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒊𝒕 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍 𝒔𝒐 𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒄. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒉𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚, 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔, 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈… 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒘𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒅 𝒖𝒑 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒆 𝑨𝒏𝒏 𝑹𝒚𝒂𝒏 𝒄𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒍𝒚.

There were moments where I ached for them, where I wanted to shake them and tell them to just talk to each other, but honestly, it all made sense for who they are. This wasn’t a light, fluffy romance. It was a story about two broken souls finding out if they could survive the aftermath together.

Also, the cameos from other Montgomerys? Loved every second! It felt like being at a family gathering full of people I care about.

If you love deep, emotional romances with real characters, a bit of angst, healing, and a hero who is ALL heart underneath his rough edges, Accidentally Forever is a must-read.

Won't Let Go!!!

Aria Montgomery, Alexander and Tabby's ( INK EXPOSED ) daughter and Sebastian's ( LONGTIME CRUSH ) twin. She was helping one of her best-friends out of the kindness of her heart. But what she failed to realize was that said friend didn't appreciated nor wanted her help.

Crew McTavish, whom we've met in the previous books, dated Daisy but now he was in love with her cousin, Aria Montgomery. Only the latter didn't know how he felt plus she didn't want to put a label on what they had. She was fierce, talented, a force to be reckoned with but she was also insecure. She would never ask for help even though she knew that her loved ones would be there for her, no matter what. He didn't intend to fall in love with Aria but it happened.

When Aria found herself in peril, he moved heaven and earth to protect her without hesitation. Both of them had to face their inner demons before they were ready to let each other in completely. It was a treat to see how they had each other's backs. The evildoers thought they could destroy what Crew and Aria had but they underestimated the couple.

ACCIDENTALLY FOREVER is the eighth installment in Carrie Ann Ryan's MONTGOMERY INK LEGACY series. It was heart-wrenching, beautiful and a masterpiece. Carrie Ann Ryan never cease to amaze me. Each book keeps getting better and better. A magnificent job! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I really enjoyed this story! It pulled me in from beginning to end and I loved finally getting to see Aria and Crew come together and start working things out and clearing the air on some things. This book can be read as a standalone but we have seen some interactions and hints of Aria and Crew in previous books in the series. Aria and Crew have never really let themselves be together or give it a shot. When this book starts, things are coming to a head and when Crew shows up just in time to help/save Aria it changes things. It has them both rethinking things a little bit and when Crew gives a little push for them to figure out what is between them and to give it a chance and to stop hiding it, it has them crossing that line into more. This story is definitely on the more emotional side of things as they both are dealing with some insecurities and figuring out how to overcome them. I loved watching them come together and support each other. Aria and Crew are both those people that show up and support their friends and family and will give their all for them. I loved watching how these two helped to refill that well and take care of each other when they are usually the ones doing the caring. The story was really well written and enjoyable. I was engaged with the characters and loved seeing them work through the obstacles in front of them, both as a couple and personally, to see them come out the other side healthy and loving and together. Loved the banter and the antics with the Montgomery's.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
The narrators did a fantastic job with the story and bringing it to life. Loved the voices and the emotions that they showcased as well as the action happening. Added that extra dynamic to really bring the characters to life.

Accidentally Forever was a tough book to read while at the same time it felt incredibly rewarding. The main characters are all struggling with different life issues. To see them overcome and conquer these issues at times made for an intense read. Crew could be overbearing and overprotective when is comes to Aria but Aria had no problems putting Crew in his place and letting him know she was able to stand up for herself. Having seen Aria and Travis in past stories, it was a relief for her to finally receive closure to her story.

Aria is a wonderfully sweet and yet strong female character. Externally, Crew comes across as tough, his upbringing has forced him to create a protective barrier around himself but he is very protective of those in his life that he has grown to care for.

Aria Montgomery is a talented photographer who has struggled her entire life living in the shadow of her famous photographer father. Having started her own business that allows artists from all mediums to come together and show their work, Aria still struggles with confidence in herself. In prior Montgomery Ink Legacy stories we have been introduced to Aria's best friend Travis. It is obvious that Travis has a serious drinking problem and Aria's family has expressed concerns for her safety when she is around him.

Crew McTavish has always been an honorary member of the Montgomery family. Many have joked that he is attempting to marry his way into the family. Crew is an amazing painter who often shows his work at Aria's studio. Unknown to many, Crew did not have the best childhood, one of the reasons he spent so much time with the Montgomerys.

Many had considered Travis and Aria to be in a long term relationship, including Crew. After many months of Travis being abusive and an embarrassment at Montgomery family events, Aria turns to Crew in an effort to feel better about herself.

Accidentally Forever was a roller coaster of a story and at the same time it showed humanities resilience and ability to overcome.

Crew and Aria definitely put us through the wringer! This was definitely quite the emotional whirlwind with lots of twists and turns. Talk about two people that faught their feelings for the other tooth and nail from the very beginning they were so into each other but we’re scared to death of their feelings. This was such a complicated love story, which made it so interesting to watch unfold. They have known each other for quite some time he’s been a friend of the family. So they have this amazing friendship, but when things start develop past that that’s when things get hairy. And they’re both very stubborn and strong-willed people so watching them but heads is absolutely hilarious because they just wanna protect the other one. I love that they’re both artists so they have this creative side to them in so they can both communicate on the same wave length and I enjoyed that aspect of it. Watching them finally give the relationship a go and fall in love is so beautiful. Their banter and how they are with each other is so cool to see. But they both have issues from the past that’s dark and is determined to claw its way to the surface. They have some trials and tribulations, but once they get through it there even stronger than they were before. And I’m so glad that they got their happily ever after.

A beautiful and emotional love story that we have been waiting for. Ms Ryan and her storytelling pulls us into the world of Aria and Crew. These two souls are easy to love and I can see why they are soulmates and not just friends. Unfortunately, their relationship is one of heartache however, at the same time it is one of finding the love that you dream of and of finding that family you need. Accidentally Forever is the eighth book in the Montgomery Ink Legacy and it is the best one of the series. With the turn of every page, I was riding an emotional rollercoaster between the love Aria and Crew refused to admit to and the trauma Aria was dealing with in regards to Travis, a friend who she wanted to help or should I say fix. Crew had to deal with his past regarding his family and the abuse he endured growing up. Sure they were friends who when together, set the pages on fire but feelings never entered to bedroom. Things change when danger literally knocks on her door and Crew is there to rescue her.
I loved how Crew was there for her even though Aria was stubborn and felt she could handle everything herself. The two of them together are like fire and dynamite, they set each other off but at times in a good way. Add in the Montgomery clan, and you have a book filled with laughter, friendship and love. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Sexy, heartfelt and oh so addictive! The next book in Carrie Ann Ryan's Montgomery Ink Legacy series brings us Aria's story. For fans of the Montgomery world, she is Alex and Tabby's daughter. For newbies to the series, you won't know all of the life stories, but it's very easy to enjoy Crew and Aria on their own without feeling lost. There will be a lot of family surrounding them, but no necessity to keep track of who's who to any great extent. The overall pace of the book was steady with lots of sexy times but equal amounts of family, connection and emotion. I loved getting to know them and seeing the fulfillment having the Montgomery fam at their back brought. Great characters, sincere interactions and so much heart melting love. I can't wait for more from this fam!

Crew was my favorite character in this book because he had to grow the most and learn to let someone in to the most private areas of his life. He thrives on being part of the Montgomery posse, and it looks really good on him!

I highly recommend this book as well as the entire Montgomery library to anyone who loves a sexy hero/heroine who also has a strong family support system behind them as love comes around and knocks them for a loop.

3.5 stars rounded up

I know this book is loved by CAR so I feel awful that I didn’t love it as much as others I’ve read by her. Part of that is personal preference because the tortured hero who feels undeserved of love is my least favourite MMC. Crew was probably the issue I had with not feeling emotionally connected to the characters because I really liked Aria. I found him to be surly and grumpy, and for what?? He’s rich by his own hand, not his parents, he’s got great friends and he’s got the girl he’s always wanted. Admittedly his parents are horrendous but he needs to kick them out of his life. The dynamic between him and Lex was a little weird too. I didn’t understand why they were pushing the narrative of a relationship to the point where even Lex’s family thought it was true. (Btw, not MM phobia as I love that CAR writes sexually diverse characters)

What I did love was Aria and her gung-ho attitude to be there for a friend, though Travis DID NOT deserve it. I loved that Ryan tackled alcoholism/addiction and showed understanding of a sensitive subject. I enjoyed seeing the Montgomery’s again, and their love of all things cheese.

I received an arc and this is my honest review.

A great accidental love story!

It all started with an accidental kiss when they were younger and Crew fell in love with Aria Montgomery. and has for years. He thinks she loves Travis. Aria Montgomery had been trying to protect Travis because he turned to alcohol and drugs. He used to be her best friend. Everyone thinks she loves him, but she doesn’t. All she was doing was trying to protect Crew from Travis. Crew doesn’t think Aria even likes him. He had dated her cousin, but she is now married. Travis is turning vicious and has an altercation with Crew. Aria is a photographer and is working her way up to work with a big reputable company. The accidental kiss left her with feelings for Crew. Neither has acknowledged them all these years. They did finally hook up and can’t resist one another, but try to. The electricity between them can burn them it so intense. Crew is a painter and does a variety of other things for a living which has made him rich. Their accidental love finally takes hold. It’s a web of a journey they take to get where they are supposed to be.

This emotionally charged story is full of family, love and understanding. Crew has loved Aria for a long time, but he has always thought that she was in love with Travis, a fellow artist, but an addict with a history of violence. When Crew rescues Aria from a particularly brutal attack, their relationship changes from secret friends with benefits, brought together by toxicity and anger, to dating in public! Crew is trying to avoid his abusive controlling parents, who really didn't love him and Aria is trying to overcome her feelings of inadequacy as she compares herself to her artist parents. The path to their forever takes many twists and turns and when Travis reappears, it could be the end of their dream.

Ms Ryan put her heart and soul into this book and it shows. The writing is strong, yet poignant and you can feel the turmoil that swirls around Crew and Aria, and their journey to love. The chemistry between Crew and Aria sizzles even as their insecurities threaten to overwhelm them. Love this book!

Emotional, touching story…addresses topics with care and understanding making the characters very believable even as they struggle with those around them.

Crew has watched Aria, getting to know her as he dated another member of the Montgomery extended family. But, he’s always assumed she’s with another man…so he has guarded his feelings for her.

Aria’s former best friend is seriously spiraling and she has decisions to make. But does she love her friend? No, but no one else seems to see that…for now.

With her confidence shaken between her former best friend’s situation and an unkind comment made by a patron of her successful father’s photography towards Aria’s professional photography efforts, Aria sees Crew in a different light.

But can they both overcome the struggles each face to find a way to their forever?

Touching story with lots of emotion…plus great to see the Montgomerys supporting them just when they need them most!

Crew and Aria’s story takes us through two people that learning what it takes to accept the love they are both deserving of and accept that they were always meant to be together Accidentally Forever. Crew has had a very difficult life, with an abusive childhood, an adulthood filled with a distinct lack of connection outside the Montgomery’s, and falling in love from afar with a woman he thought he’d never be good enough for. He never could have hoped that he would actually one day find her not only in his bed, but in his heart, and finally being able to call Aria his love has changed his outlook forever and made him into a better man. Aria has lived her life in the shadows for years, trying to find her way in there art without being shadowed by her dad, trying to help her friend, but being beat down for it, and never being able to find the man that would earn her heart. When she finally allows herself to admit her feelings for Crew her world just opens up and she is free, her heart expanding and her fears finally releasing her. The passion between these two is apparent from the very moment they enter one another’s hemisphere and when they finally stop hiding their relationship from others the heat explodes like an atom bomb. As always Carrie Ann added a sneak peak of the next book as the last chapter and I can already tell that poor Lexington is going to have a hell of a time finding his own HEA, and I cannot wait to go a long for the ride. The wait is going to kill me, Ms. Ryan, but I suspect that was your evil plan.

Such a beautiful story. We've met both Crew and Aria before in previous books and they now have their own story. Crew has been friends with the Montgomery's for years but no one knows quite how bad his childhood was, a secret he likes to keep close to his chest - boy reading it was very emotional - made me cry!

Everyone thinks that Aria is in love with Travis, her best friend but they don't realise that she is trying to help him with his demons and that she can't have the man she actually wants - Crew!

Crew and Aria have been hooking up over time but Crew soon realises that it is more than just hooking up for him but he doesn't believe that Aria wants him in the same way. When he gets his chance, he takes it and they soon become such a cute couple until it is threatened by Travis.

Another great book by Carrie Ann Ryan, so much emotion, so much heat - a definite recommendation

I knew Aria and Crew’s story would tear my heart out, and I was not wrong. Their journey was filled with so many emotional lows that at times I wondered how they would get their HEA. Because I always knew they would, but sometimes the path there is filled with more potholes than expected.
The way Aria tried to stay loyal to her friendship with Travis throughout his emotional upheavals showed me what a true friend she was, even as I prayed she’d kick him to the curb. The self turmoil Crew put himself through by helping Aria while keeping his feeling hidden made me ache for him. Their doubts about themselves could have kept them apart, but somehow brought them closer. For me, Aria and Crew’s story is the most emotional and gut-wrenching of the Legacy series, which says a lot because this family has been put through the wringer!
Kudos to Carrie Ann Ryan for bringing this deeply emotional story from her heart and mind to the page for readers to enjoy.
