Two women. One goal. A whole lot of tactical changes. Since her ex blew up their plans, Becky's started to realise they needed detonating. The family life she fantasised about was just that - a fantasy. Now, she wants to build a life that's not just as good as the one she imagined in her head, it's better. Deciding to buy a house solo turns out to be an easy leap, but when it comes to finding a meaningful relationship in the swipe and dash world of online dating? That's going to be a harder challenge for someone who's shy around new people. Paige is already three huge steps in front of Becky. She's long since stopped worrying whether she's got a girlfriend and is out there living her best life with Reggie, her golden retriever. Even her mum's eternally gloomy outlook can't dull her sparkle, and she's happy taking centre stage in her own story. She'll even do it in nipple tassels. Becky's attraction to the club's new burlesque dancing barmaid is instant, but she soon realises that if she wants to get to know Paige, she's going to have to leave her expectations at the clubhouse door. As their friendship develops, attraction deepens and their relationship shifts. But Paige is carrying a big secret, and it'll lead them into something they never could've predicted. A slow burn sapphic romance that explores demisexuality, the blurry boundaries of friendship, and what can happen when you stay open to possibility.

I loved the whole series, but I didn't fully vibe with the characters in this last book. Book 1 and 2 are my favorites of the series (with 2 being the absolute winner!).
I really enjoyed reading this 3rd instalment of The Blues. Think it’s the best one so far in this series and I’m excited for what I hope is Lauren’s story next.
I absolutely adore this series so so much. They are so addictive you absolutely can’t put them down. These two characters are brilliantly written and getting to know them was a pleasure. The little imperfections each had only added to the story. When this slow burn finally ignited it was written perfectly. Most side characters have already been introduced in the previous two books and this one adds what I hope is a future main character. I didn’t want this one to end. I may have said that before but I’m deadly serious this time.
Not your typical slap and tickle book. This had a great story with all of the feelings from laughter, to crying, all bundled up in a realistic story. Being pregnant, and single, isn't as dramatic, or tramatic as Paige saw her life evolving. Being bounced from a bad relationship to finding new, good friends at a ladies football club showed her possibilities for a better life. Book is well written and like a comfortable sweater to read.
The clubhouse has a new bar tender and Becky finds herself smitten. Paige is recovering from her break up with her boyfriend and turning her life around. She inherited her Nan’s bungalow, has a dog named Reggie, and has found out she’s pregnant. A great story about friends, love and finding family.
I feel like each book in this series goes a little deeper. In book three, one explores the demisexual identity with a pregnant Paige and a very understanding and patient Becky. I really enjoyed both characters very much. And, of course, any time Coach Jax was around, the energy became more fun. This is definitely a slow burn romance full of friendship and great promise!
