She’s everything he wants… and the one woman he can’t have.

Maddie thought her spontaneous kiss with a gorgeous stranger at an exclusive club was just that—a momentary spark with a man she’d never see again.

But when she arrives at her new job the next Monday, she’s stunned to find that her mystery man is actually Ian Hastings, her new boss…and their chemistry is far from a one-time thing.

Ian is captivated by Maddie, the small-town single-mom who just became his assistant, but he’s determined to keep their relationship strictly professional.

Yet resisting her is harder than he imagined, and keeping his hands to himself soon becomes impossible when a familiar face from his past forces him to ask Maddie for an unexpected favor.

A fake engagement.

To deflect his ex’s advances—and avoid unwanted rumors at a high-profile summit—Ian suggests they pretend to be a couple. But it isn’t long before their staged romance blurs into real feelings and Maddie and Ian find themselves tangled in a game of longing, secrets, and unexpected passion.

But when old wounds and hidden truths threaten to break through their careful façade, will they be willing to risk everything to turn this fake relationship into a real one?

SAY YOU REMEMBER ME is a slow-burn romance with swoon-worthy tension, unforgettable first encounters, and a dash of scandal. It's book two in the Kings of Eden Falls series but can be read as a standalone.

[This is the second book in a series, but can be read as a standalone.]

Maddie is ready to start over with her 8-year-old son. But when she arrives at her new job she discovers that her new boss, billionaire Ian Hastings, is the same man she shared a sizzling kiss with at a club a few nights before. The horror!

Ian is really surprised when his new assistant turns out to be the same woman who evoked feelings in him that he hasn't felt in a long time. Can they put their burgeoned feelings aside and act professional?

Billionaire romance isn't a trope I'm automatically drawn to, but boss/assistant can be interesting. Something I usually stay away from is the single parent trope, but fake dating/fake engagement is a favorite. So, does Judy Corry manage to convince me? Absolutely! Both Maddie and Ian are characters that are easy to like, despite not being perfect (or perhaps that's why?). We also get dual POV's, which makes them both come close.

It's a bit frustrating how they beat about the bush for so long that I feel it gets somewhat repetitive, but every time I put the book down I can't wait to pick it up and spend more time with Maddie and Ian again, so I can't really complain. I also think it's fun that the author has made Maddie as someone who enjoys bookstagram and to discuss book tropes - I wish it had been given more room!

Highly recommend to those who enjoy a steamy - but not spicy - romance with lots of swoony moments!

I read this book in one day! There was no way I was putting it down!
You follow Ian, a billionaire, and Maddie who is a single mom new to town. They have a moment before their lives crash together. Then their flirting turns to blurry a line between real or fake.
I think "right place, wrong time" has become my favorite trope right now

They had a few steamy kisses but this is a closed door romance

Reader’s Notes:

– this is part of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone

– this is told from Maddie & Ian’s points of view

*Maddie is Lexi (from It Was Always You) & Easton’s (from My Second Chance) older sister; Ian is Carter (from The Charade), Cambrielle (from The Facade), & Nash’s (from The Confession) older brother

-it is mentioned that Maddie was pregnant with her son at seventeen

-it is mentioned that Ian used to have sex with women often (at the start of the story he is 10 months into not having done so)

-it is mentioned that some character(s) parents don’t have an interest in keeping up a relationship with their children

-it is mentioned that (in the past) character(s) considered ending their life (brief mentions, nothing happens from these considerations)

-it is mentioned that (in the past) character(s) were cheated on by their boyfriend/girlfriend

-there are 2 uses of a variation of ‘whore’ (both used by a guy talking about himself taking all the attention)

-some kisses mention tongue; another kiss mentions the guy’s hands going under her shirt & up to her ribs

-towards the end of the book, there is a kind of fade to black scene (they remove clothes so she’s in a dress slip & he has on his pants; they make out on a bed in this state of undress; it mentions his hands going under her slip; then it goes vague right as the chapter ends – his weight settling on her, “…the night unfolded and we became one…”, laying in each others arms)

Review:

This was about a 4.5 star read for me, mainly because of the last point being at the edge/slightly off the edge of my comfort zone for content in the books I read.

But beyond that, I really loved this one! It was so much fun getting to know Ian better and seeing him fumble around getting to know Maddie. I loved finding out that the book’s title has a double meaning (or at least a meaning I didn’t guess when reading the summary) and how that part of the story played into their budding romance. I loved getting to know Maddie, her son, and her aunt! It’s been awhile since I’ve read Maddie’s siblings’ stories so I didn’t remember anything about her going into this book. I also loved Sloan’s subtle & not so subtle attempts at getting Maddie & Ian together and I kind of hope we’ll get a story for her at some point!

I can’t wait to see who Owen falls for in the next book too! He was interesting and I’m very excited to get to know him more!

Summary:

When Maddie goes out to celebrate the new life she’s planned for her and her son, she kisses a handsome stranger whom she never expects to see again. Even if the sparks between them made her wish she’d considered the possibility or even gotten his name. That is until Maddie starts her first day of work and discovers that the man she kissed over the weekend is none other than her new boss Ian Hastings…

Ian has never held back on something he’s wanted, but with Maddie’s employment under him he has to keep holding back from anything beyond professionalism. No matter how hard it is, that’s the way things have to be. But when Ian is in need of help at a business summit and Maddie willingly steps into the role of his fake fiancé to do so, Ian finds that now that he has had a chance to play the part, he never wants to let go of Maddie and the love he has for her…

Not the best.

I was super excited to read Ian's love story after having read every book Judy has written thus far knowing Ian Hastings back story had me counting down the days for this release.

Out of all the books I've read by Judy this one didn't capture me like her books usually do. I did enjoy the romance between the two characters and seeing the relationship evolve as the book progressed but there was just something that made it hard for me to actually get into the story.

I did enjoy the little bits and pieces of some of Judy's previous characters making an appearance. The FMC is the big sister of Easton and Lexi from her Ridgewater high series. And the MMC is the older brother of Cambrielle, Carter and Nash from the Eden Falls series so seeing the merging of the 2 series was nice.

The FMC is a single mom and I can see why that would be the love interest for Ian since his mother was a single mom when his stepdad began dating her so it was cute to see him basically walking in his dad's footsteps.

The tropes were Billionaire romance, Fake dating, Boss/assistant.

I am looking forward to reading Owens story next I can't wait for that to be released. Overall I enjoyed the story I love Judy Corry and will read anything she writes she's one of my favorite authors I will always support her.

Side note/unpopular opinion/spoiler: I did not enjoy the conversations about the cat being name satan 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

“I knew it had been a while since my last first kiss, but I was pretty sure I’d never had a first kiss like this before–one with instant heat, want, and adrenaline.”

Wowza! Judy Corry sure does know how to write a fantastic romance. Right from the start, I was smitten with Ian and his first meet with Maddie is fire. I’m a fan of a story where they don’t know each other but later have a connection that makes things awkward, or in this case, tension-filled and incredible.

Billionaire Ian and his new assistant Maddie are a couple that my heart won’t quickly forget. I love an unplanned involvement, especially when big and forbidden feelings are involved. Throw in a fake engagement? YES!! I’m all over it, especially when the characters are flawed, have bulky pasts, are extremely likable, have a believable and tangible chemistry, and also have a vague distant brush by.

I couldn’t get enough of this story and the intricate threads tying this story to a few other series. Corry is a fabulous writer and as always, I’m so eager for more.

Content: mild+ romance (innuendo, make outs/kissing, off page pregnancy and playboy shenanigans

Ok so I’ve read the first book in this series amazing but then this! I was always so exited for Ian’s book! Let’s see how do I express my feeling about this book, oh, how about I received this book one day and started about 8:30 that night and the proceeded to finish this at 5:16 am the next day, so. Also might I explain if you ask anyone who knows me they would now important my sleep schedule is, and I have put down books at terrible cliffhanger but this book had me keep on reading! I have never stayed up all night.

Let me first say that while this book didn’t meet my expectations (there were plenty of kissing scenes, but no real romantic connection to back them up. Their love felt “meh” and not very real), I’m still glad I read this book and I’m still a Corry fan!!

⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️SPOILERS AHEAD ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️

💙 This whole book felt very YA due to the dialogue being cringey at times.
Here are a couple of cringey bits to give examples:
➡️"As I drove down the tree-shrouded drive, I couldn’t help but feel like I was suddenly in a movie, heading to a rich billionaire’s house for the first time. Which yeah…I guess should fit since I was literally doing just that.”
➡️“Oh my heck!” (This isn’t terrible, it’s just weird; no one says this. It’s very juvenile.)
➡️

💙 I got really excited when I realised there was this underlying trope of “I met & knew you years ago, and now we’re meeting again”… but it fell flat, unfourtunately. Ian and Maddie both remembered each other pretty early on from when they met 9 years ago, but neither of them mentioned it until the last minute, so it wasn’t really implemented into the story that much; I was left craving more. :) Then, at the end when Ian reveals to Maddie that he knew all along, the scene was underwhelming, sadly! They both just said “YOU KNEW???” And that was the end of that. It couldn’t really build up the romance any more because they were already at the peak maximum, the story was over. :)

💙 I don’t like when the characters in a book talk about book tropes and types of romance… It’s too weird and it keeps me from enjoying the story as much. Maddie kept bringing up that stuff, mentioning
"forced-proximity/forbidden-boss-romance trope”, and talking about it a bunch. “Trope” was mentioned ten times! I’d rather not. It was so cringe.

💙So many parts of this book were just too cringe!! The stupid meetings Ian and Maddie had to have with his company’s HR department once their (fake) engagment news came out were just annoying. Also, things took WAY TOO LONG to progress.
⬇️
“There were…a few kisses,” I said, my voice quieter now. “But they were consensual.”
It was just so hard to read. This book really felt too young adult.

💙 I couldn’t get behind Maddie lying to her Dad about their engagement…. yes, I understand not explaining the situation to him right away because he just had a heart attack and you don’t want to confuse him, but Maddie literally says THIS:
"Maybe I could convince Ian to hold a fake wedding ceremony in a couple of years…and then keep dodging my dad’s attempts to meet him. Sorry, Dad. Ian’s on a work trip…again.”
Why would she continue to lie to him?

Another cringey part I just couldn’t stand:
“You’re so delicious, Maddie,” he murmured against my lips, his voice low and husky. “And it’s got me thinking...maybe Grant and Rosie deserve one more sibling.”
EW! WHY? NO! Who likes this writing????? 🤮

And another: "My husband was too sexy for his own good, and as much as I tried to push the thought aside, the thought of adding another little one to our family wasn’t exactly the worst idea. I mean, who wouldn’t want a bunch of mini-Ians running around?"
PLEASE NO!!!! 😭 THIS WRITING IS TERRIBLE

TLDR:
Bottom line, I don't want to be rude, but the dialogue was cringey (which left this book feeling VERY YA), nothing really happened, the romance was mediocre, and I was just left wanting more. The fake dating trope was just not written in that well. I really wish I’d liked this book, as I’m a Corry fan… I just didn’t love this one. I want to re-read "Friendzone to End Zone” from Corry; that book was super fun!!!

Say You Remember Me is the second book in the Kings of Eden Falls series. While those who have read the first book will appreciate seeing familiar characters, I do believe this could be enjoyed just fine as a standalone as well.

I absolutely LOVED this book. If you're like me and don't like to wait too long for that first kiss... well, good news! The story starts off with Maddie- a single mom new to town- blowing off some steam before she starts her new job and deciding to kiss a complete stranger at a club... and boy, what a kiss that was! Imagine her surprise when she shows up to work to discover the stranger she had kissed- Ian- is actually her new boss! There was so much chemistry and tension between these two, and I absolutely couldn't get enough of it. Throw in an unexpected fake engagement and there truly was just so much to love about this story. It was tender and romantic... and had an unexpected surprise from their past that just made me love them all that much more. Simply put, you do not want to miss this one.

Say You Remember Me is a closed-door romance with fade to black/implied intimacy and does get a little steamier in the buildup (more detailed kisses, mentions of past experiences-without details, clothes starting to come off, etc.). While no explicit details are given, it might still be a bit more than some closed-door readers will prefer.

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

This was the second book in the series, but can be read alone. I was glad to finally get Ian's story. Ian is considered the billionaire playboy after his heart gets broken by his fiancé Maddie is a single mom (teen pregnancy) who needs her own life away from her ex. When Maddie makes a small decision to kiss a random guy, it turns out to be her new boss. So of course we get the awkwardness, tension, a work trip and of course a fake fiancé...

The chemistry was instant with these two and there was a lot of it. This book has more steam than Judy's other YA series, in case you are thinking about letting a teen read it. I did love Ian and he resolve to be better and how quickly he realizes that Maddie is the one who can ground him and make him better. Ian sees Maddie for who she is and makes it his goal to make sure she sees herself that way. Maddie is smitten with Ian in a way she's never felt. He see her and believes in her, the real her. Their banter and teasing was fun and it was nice to have Grant be included. Ian and his family were so good to Maddie and I loved that for her and the story.

There are so many things I want to say...but I don't like to include spoilers. ;). The real meet cute..🫠

Thank you for the ARC copy and all opinions are my own.

Ahhh! I was so excited for this one. I knew that Ian’s book was going to be great but I was even more excited when I saw that Maddie was the FMC. Say You Remember Me is the second book in Judy Corry’s Kings of Eden Falls series.
I adored Ian. he came across as a play boy billionaire but he was actually scared of letting others in. It was sweet to see him falling for Maddie and finding out that he wants something more to life than just work. I loved getting to know him better especially as he learned to navigate his fears of letting Maddie in.
Maddie was so strong and was just trying to make a life for her and Grant. I loved getting to know her better since I had heard of her from her siblings books but I didn’t really know her. She had had to shoulder a lot on her own as she raised Grant and tried to figure out things with her ex. But it was cool to see her able to just be present when she was with Ian. He helped her and cared for her.
The romance was sweet and I love the way that Maddie and Ian supported each other. They didn’t push each other too hard and were there for the other person. They definitely had some obstacles to overcome but it was lovely to read about them connecting and finding their person.
The story didn’t feel rushed and I was engaged the whole time. I loved seeing some old characters, especially Ian and Maddie’s families. I just wish there were more scenes with them. Grant was sweet and it was cool to see hints of new books to come.
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy contemporary romances. I loved reading about Ian and Maddie. They helped heal each other. I will say that this is a fade to black romance book so on the edge of closed door. There are innuendos and descriptive kisses. Maddie’s siblings have their own books in the Ridgewater High Romance series and Ian’s siblings have their own stories in the Eden Falls Academy series.
Say You Remember Me is a fade-to-black contemporary romance.

Book Highlights:
Billionaire boss
Fake dating
Single mom

Say You Remember from Judy Corry is book two in her Kings of Eden Falls series.
This Billionaire Boss/Assistant, Fake Engagement, Forced Proximity, Forbidden Romance follows the story of Ian Hastings and Maddie Stevens through their dual POVs, in what can be read as a Standalone.

Let me just preface this by saying this, despite my rating, it doesn't take away from the book having its good moments here and there throughout for me.
For instance seeing the relation buildup between Ian and Maddie, going from Boss/Assistant to much more regardless of their situation that had them faking an engagement. Especially with seeing their shared witty banter, as well as being touchy feely in certain interactions, paving the way for some hot moments. On top of sweet and cute times too, given their interactions. Some of which had you LOL’ing with the laughter author Judy bought about.
Whether they were alone together or with others, the chemistry was undeniable between the two, continuing on to grow, giving off sparks the more they spent time with one another. Making it clear, that their evolving feelings were very much real, even if their situation was fake.

There was also seeing Maddie’s interactions with her son Grant and being a strong, single parent doing everything she could for him and ensuring he was safe and well.
Grant was definitely a sweet character and made for enjoyable moments too, particularly the way he shined in the scenes that included him.

One thing I didn’t see coming was the surprise twists, author Judy definitely threw me for a loop with it. Which definitely added to my moments of having enjoyed reading with seeing the story play out.

But with that said, unfortunately there was something about the story that just seemed to take me a little too long for my liking to connect too. And that’s not to say it wasn’t a good read.
However given the lack of pizazz I was hoping for, it’s what paved way for a somewhat flat flow IMO, ultimately causing a disconnect for me, which played into the story causing me to stop in between one too many times from all the breaks I kept taking.
On top of that, it took me reaching about close to half way that finally I was able to read on through. And that too without anymore breaks or pauses.
Another issue for me was the lack of drama, as well as the lead up to the ending. There wasn’t much there, like I had been expecting. It just ended up being a straight flow right through to a HEA, leaving me disappointed from lack of excitement and thrills.

All in all, despite its downs for me, author Judy Corry still did a good job in writing Ian and Maddie’s story. Overall making Say You Remember Me a good read.

Say You Remember Me is the second book of the Kings of Eden Falls series by Judy Corry. Maddie Stevens thought a harmless spontaneous kiss with a gorgeous stranger would be simply an impulsive act. However, when she arrives for her first day at a new job as an executive assistant, she is shocked to learn that the man she kissed is none other than her new boss, Ian Hastings. Ian is captivated by Maddie as her simple kiss ignited a spark in him that he thought was far gone. However, he is determined to keep their relationship professional going forward. When they attend a business conference together, Ian comes face to face with an ex-fiancee, he panics and asks Maddie for an unusual favor: a fake engagement. It doesn’t take long before their fake romance starts to feel very, very real. When their fake engagement reaches beyond the conference, will they be willing to risk everything for the chance to make this fake relationship real?
The Kings of Eden Falls brings Judy Corry’s Eden Falls Academy and Ridgewater High Romance series together into a great new series. While I haven’t finished either series yet, it was great to see the characters pop in. I also have not read the first book in The Kings of Eden Falls series, and yet, I was able to enjoy Say You Remember Me. Any references to the previous series is subtle and does not take away from enjoying Say You Remember Me. It is a slow-burn romance with great tension and sweet moments between Ian and Maddie. There are moments of laughter especially with Maddie and her friends and Ian and his friends. There is a bit of drama and scandal that tests Ian and Maddie and asks the question “will they make their fake relationship real?” I look forward to future books in this series as well as going back and reading the books in the previous series. I highly recommend Say You Remember Me.

I could gush about this book all day! I loved it and read it through in a single sitting. Once I started I couldn’t get enough which seems to be par for the course with Judy Corry books. She is quickly becoming a favorite author of mine.
I relate to Maddie, not in the fact that she’s a single mom, but she comes from a small town and feels like she’s never good enough or worthy of someone like Ian. So I don’t find her second guessing all that annoying because I get it, and it’s supposed to be a fake relationship so it’s normal that she would second-guess intentions and what may have blurred into being real.
Ian, of my goodness Ian. I need a man like that in my life. He doesn’t even have to be a billionaire (bonus points though) but I need me a man that will drop everything when there is a family emergency, will do whatever he can to make his girl comfortable and feel loved and safe, and someone who loves to spoil and show off his girl because he loves her that much. I am adding this book to why my expectations of men are so high and just another reason I refuse to settle for anything less than I deserve.
As a billionaire romance I was a little wary since they always seem so crazy unrealistic, which I mean it is fiction so that’s a given, but billionaire romances are on another level. But this one didn’t feel that way. The money that Ian had didn’t seem to be at the forefront, it was more like a “don’t worry about it” over “I’m made of money” vibe which I enjoyed.
I cannot wait for the next book and for Owen’s story. And the siblings of both Ian and Maddie have their own stories in separate series that I now must immediately devour.
10/10 recommend this sweet romance. Judy Corry proves that you can get an amazing romance story without the explicit content. I love a good spicy scene but sometimes I want a book without it and I will forever recommend Judy Corry.
Thanks to Judy Corry for the ARC!

I was very delighted to read Ian's story. A reformed bachelor turned cinnamon roll. I've read him in her other Ya/adult books. The author has followed the lives of different characters and she writes really great story lines for each of the characters. Ian is no different. He was the playboy, but in the previous book we started to see him turn or in our book world reformed.

Maddie moves to eden falls to begin her new job. As a single mom she is focused on raising her son the best way that she can. She is young and learning to do things for herself, but one night changed her entire life. That's all I can say for that.

I was excited to read this book! It was full of swoon worthy moments and I could not put the book down! I liked the tension and the way Ian truly showed he cared about her and her boundaries.

I loved the little twist of the past and future. It was beautifully written.

Right person and wrong time hits differently when reading this book.

I will say that I was a little taken back towards the end. I do like Judy's books, but the ending was more descriptive than I normally read in closed door romances so I was taken a back. Nothing too revealing but so much implied.

Troupe: Boss and Assistant/He falls first/Single Mom/Fake Engagement/Slow Burn
Steam Level: Closed Door/Clean Romance, but descriptive kisses. Towards the end more descriptive and intentionally you know what is going to happen between the couple
Audience: 18+ due to the descriptive information that is still within the closed door/clean romance
Do I recommend: Yes. I do enjoy reading books written by this author. Ive read 10+ books written by her. She writes compelling stories.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I am giving my honest opinion in what I thought about this book.

Say You Remember Me by Judy Corry
ARC Review: 4.25/5 Stars
* Can be read as a standalone but it is a part of the Kings of Eden Falls Series*

Okay okay, this was an absolutely stunningly amazing read for the month of February. And I love the fact that you don’t even have to wait too long for the first kiss aspect to happen, because it happens straight away which is amazing because the way that Maddie does it, she totally gives off boss energy!! So to get back to the story line…

Maddie is our lovely single mom that has moved to a new town, and while being in this new town for only a little while she is already on the move to blow off some much needed steam. But while going to blow off that steam, before starting the new job, she also makes the wild (I think amazing decision to) end up going up to a stranger and kisses them. But oh was that kiss something special! Because imagine Maddie’s surprise when she shows up to work, and finds said stranger to be her new boss Ian!!!!
Can we just get a round of applause for the chemistry & tension build up that is now ensuing within the office because damn this is amazing on so many different levels and I am loving every moment of it again while writing this review! But now we get to throw an unexpected fake engagement into the mix and it makes this love story that much more of a wild great adventure.
Overall, I think if this sounds like it fits your cup of tea, you should totally give it a chance!! It marks up all the right things for a cute romance, such as closed-door done a little steamy, fake engagement, single mom x boss, and just so many other amazing things that you’ll just have to read to find out.

I’m not a big fan of Insta-love stories because they usually end up coming across as very cheesy and under developed. However, an author like Judy, with her talented writing, takes what is one of my least favorite tropes and shows how it could be the start of a sweet and swoony love story to cheer for. I loved how she let the characters feel their attractions and admit it to themselves but also not act on them in the interest of keeping things appropriate. Because, let’s be honest, a good number of love stories begin in the workplace. You spend a lot of time with these people and get to know them well. Maddie and Ian both have a lot in their pasts that has left them doubting real love exists. It was fun watching them realize that the right person means that love is worth taking a chance on. The addition of a “fake relationship” really just gave them a chance to have honest conversations about their pasts and let someone inside the pain they had experienced. Plus, they each found someone to appreciate them as a person, not just for the job or money they had. Definitely recommend this romance for those, like me, who want a better version of the “insta-love” and “fake dating” that has more to it than sappiness and little plot.

CW: one fade to black scene towards the end of the story, mentions of intimacy (between married couple) in epilogue.

Review:
I could gush about this book all day. I read it in one sitting the first time I picked it up. I couldn’t get enough! Judy Corey is a master storyteller. I loved the nods to Ridgewater High and the Eden Falls Academy Series.

Maddie and Ian are the perfect pair. I’m usually not a fan of instant love stories—they just feel so fake or forced—but this one just works, especially with the twist that comes later in the book.

Having read all of the Eden Fall Books and Hide Away With You, I was super excited for Ian’s book. I loved his character development and his internal struggle with his past and how it keeps coming back to haunt him. Side note: his interactions with Grant are one of my favorite parts of this book. He’s so sweet with him!

Overall, this book was incredible. I highly recommend it to fans of slow-burn romances with just the right amount of heat.

I am loving this series with my favorite Eden Falls friends all grown up, especially Ian. I’ve loved his character from the start and after “Hide Away With You” couldn’t wait for him to find the perfect girl.

Ian might seem to have it all, a billion plus dollar family business, women ready to fall at his feet, and the ability to influence others, but there’s more beneath the surface. He’s a man with an empty place in his heart only the right woman can fill, but is he willing to take a chance on love when he’s already been burned once?

Maddie is a single mom with one goal in mind, land her dream job and provide a secure home for her son Grant. She doesn’t have room in her life for romance. She can get that from books. Besides, after waiting years for her ex to really see her she’s not interested in new heartache.

Too bad neither of them can see what’s coming their way. It’s an attraction for the ages, a love better than any book romance, and though they might not expect it, their lives are about to change.

I love this story of a playboy redeemed and a wounded heart cherished. It’s so, so good. The interactions are intense and sweet at the same time and I just couldn’t stop reading. I recommend this book.

I’ve been waiting for Ian’s story since book one, and let me tell you—it did not disappoint. From the moment he appeared on the page, I knew I needed to see him get his happily ever after. There was just something about him that made me root for him, flaws and all.

One thing I really appreciated was that Ian started this book as a reformed ladies’ man. If he hadn’t, I’m not sure I would have found him redeemable, but Judy Corry struck the perfect balance—giving us a hero who still carried traces of his past but was fully ready to be the man Maddie deserved.

Now, if you’re a fan of a very slow-burn romance, buckle up. The tension builds and builds, keeping you hanging on every stolen glance and unspoken feeling, with any truly intimate moments saved for the very end. And of course, the fake engagement trope? Chef’s kiss. If you love the forced proximity, the lingering touches that shouldn’t mean anything, and that moment when pretense turns into something real—this book is for you.

Overall, Say You Remember Me was a swoon-worthy, heartfelt read that was well worth the wait. Ian and Maddie’s journey was filled with longing, redemption, and just the right amount of scandal. Highly recommend!

"Say You Remember Me" is a beautiful, sweet, and charming romance from author Judy Corry! It was so fun seeing friends we know and love from previous books! This author always does such great work creating characters that feel like real people along with personalities, thoughts, emotions, and personal/familial challenges of their own. Judy Corry's characters always feel like real people and are so lovable. I love Ian, Maddie, and the rest of their families! I enjoyed seeing what a good relationship Maddie has with her dad and the rest of her family. And seeing how close Ian is to his own parents and family. The emotional connection between Ian and Maddie is perfect and their chemistry is undeniable! Their romance is just the right level of sweet and swoony! The speed of the plot is great, the writing style is smooth, the romance is perfect, and the sweet and cozy family vibes are great, too. I very highly recommend reading "Say You Remember Me" (and all other books from this author)! I cannot wait for Owen's book! Read this book! I loved it. Another 5 star read from author Judy Corry!

Thank you very much to the author for the wonderful opportunity of being a part of her ARC Team again and for providing me with a digital copy to read and review honestly.

Say You Remember Me is everything I love in a forbidden romance: electrifying chemistry, swoon worthy tension, and just the right amount of angst.

Maddie never expected a spontaneous kiss with a handsome stranger at a bar to turn into anything… until she walks into her new job the next morning and finds out he’s her billionaire boss, Ian. Forced to keep things professional, they navigate their undeniable attraction while being thrown into a fake engagement that only amps up the tension.

This book delivers on every romance trope it promises—forbidden boss/employee dynamic, forced proximity, and fake dating—all wrapped up in a story that feels fresh and engaging. Maddie’s struggles were relatable and felt authentic. Ian’s transformation from playboy billionaire to a man truly ready for love was incredibly satisfying to watch unfold.

I had been waiting for Ian’s love story, and this book absolutely delivered! I loved how it picked up right where Hide Away with You left off and included nods to past characters, making it feel like a reunion! If you’re a fan of contemporary romance, Say You Remember Me is a must read!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely OBSESSED with this book!

I don’t even know where to start—Say You Remember Me had me hooked from page one and completely wrecked me in the best way possible. Ian and Maddie’s chemistry?? Off. The. Charts. 🔥 Their banter, their tension, the way they tried to keep things professional but totally failed (because duh, they were meant to be)—I LIVED for it.

Ian Hastings is officially my new book boyfriend. He’s swoony, a little broody, and the way he looks at Maddie??? Someone please pick me up off the floor. And Maddie? She’s strong, independent, and so easy to root for. I loved seeing her hold her own and watching their connection slowly unravel into something neither of them could resist.

Also, the fake engagement trope?? Done so well. The tension, the almost moments, the way everything built up so perfectly—my heart was in shambles. And let’s not forget the emotional depth. There were real stakes, heartfelt moments, and scenes that made me tear up in the best way.

I laughed, I swooned, I screamed into my pillow. If you love slow-burn romance with ALL the feels, Say You Remember Me is a must-read. I’m already planning my reread. 😍✨

Say You Remember Me - Judy Corry

⭐ - 5/5
🌶️ - medium - I probably wouldn't let my teenager read it but there is nothing explicit. Just innuendos and implication.

“Oh my gosh, I just called you tall, dark, and handsome to your face. I can’t believe I said that. You’re my boss. I’m sure you know what you look like." - it was so hard to only pick one cute quote!

I have been so excited for this book and it exceeded expectations! I'm normally not a big fan of the single mom trope because I feel like it is rarely done well. But Judy Corry does a great job of actually including the kid, which I believe is so important!

This book is full of so many insanely sweet moments that will have you swooning but also so many funny moments that will make you giggle. Just wait till you read about the cat 😂

💍Fake Engagement
👔Billionaire
💍Single Mom
👔Boss/Assistant
💍Forbidden Romance
👔Forced Proximity

Read the book. You'll absolutely adore Ian and Maddie! If you've read any Judy Corry books before, you will love seeing characters from past books. However, you can definitely still read this as a standalone and love it just as much!

Kings Of Eden Falls # 2

Ian and Maddie

This is the second book in the Eden Falls series and follows Ian and Maddie. Their story is sweet and a bit angsty and with the endgame to find your true self and overcome fears, obstacles and let others in.
Ian’s lifestyle only played down his fear of getting close to other people and letting them in. But with Maddie he is willing to try, and seeing him doing everything to make that come true was beautiful. And he finds so much more more than just her.
Maddie made everything possible to give her son a good life and make things work out. Even with her ex.
The way Ian and Maddie cared and helped each other was sweet. Supportive and being sensitive with each other.
Of course they had some hurdles along their way but that was just fitting for them. Finding your other half and accepting all your feelings and taking a chance at happiness made this story an adorable one.
With a few cameos from people from previous books that were truly appreciated.

I’ve been waiting for this book from the moment the last book ended. I’m a very character driven reader and let me tell you Ian and Maddie do not disappoint!! Their banter is so good and even though I’m not a huge fan of work place romance, I thought this was written perfectly. I didn’t even mind that it was in this book. Maddie is a single mom and her whole world revolves around her son, Grant. While out one night she kisses a random sexy stranger. Thinking she will never see him again she goes into her new job and lo and behold her new boss is no other than Ian Hastings, the man she had randomly kissed. The tension is tensioning. Their chemistry is fantastic. You also find out something from their past that had me squealing. This is a fade to black romance but dang does it get steamy without going too far. My favorite Judy Corry book is “Her football star ex” and the feels were the same while reading this book! The next book in the series is going to be sooooo good!

Thank you so much Judy Corry for sending me the arc!

“It looks perfect to me,” I replied, though I hadn’t really looked at it—I couldn’t seem to tear my eyes away from her.”

Judy Corry’s writing always has me in my feels! Say You Remember Me is an adorably sweet romance that will have readers wanting more! The characters are relatable and real, which makes the story all the more captivating.

Ian and Maddie are the epitome of love at first sight. They are both extremely attracted to one another but try to keep their relationship strictly professional. However, with Maddie being Ian’s assistant, and spending more time together, sparks fly. Although the story takes place over a few weeks, the slowburn was perfect for these two characters. Both characters have the sweetest attitudes and work perfectly together.

If you’re a fan of Judy Corry’s incredible Eden Falls Academy series, you will absolutely love this book. Several lovable and favorite characters make an appearance (so you have to read to find out who)! I highly recommend this book to lovers of sweet small town and billionaire romances!

i LOVED this book but there were a few things that threw me off. The stuttering, the references to bookstagram PLEASE WAS THAT NESSESARY. The fact that it was a little unrealistic but tbh its a book so who cares and the growling. Seriously dont find how people see that as attractive. Overall though they were little things that i could push to the side and keep reading.

Ian and maddie are so cute. Like ians just there tryna contain himself from going insane for her and shes just trying to piece it together that someone could actually love her.

I also really loved the fact that the spice never got too far and it just faded to black. It made it so much easier to read. I was actually so hesitant because people say its fade to black and then start writing spice but i was chill the whole time it was amazing.

Overall id recommend this so much if you can get past the little cringe factors and im defo reading the rest of eden falls. WE NEED A BOOK FOR OWEN
