French Inheritance by June Patrick is a rom-com based in France with our FMC being Elodie, who is a woman from California who finds out she inherited something from her long lost grandfather who has passed away recently. She heads to her late grandfather's Chateau in France to stay and find out more about what she inherited and also just enjoy the French countryside and get away from her crumbling life in the US. Elodie is a relatable character who finds herself inheriting a new family also with half-siblings that she knew nothing about and vice versa. Elodie eventually decides to stay in France and fix up the Chateau and continue on with her late grandfather's vineyard. I really liked the plot of this one and the setting in France for Elodie and her new found family, it is perfection. I also loved hearing about Remi, Elodie's new love interest in the book as she learns that her next door French neighbor does help her become a better version of herself and vice versa. These two characters are adorable together in the story and you can not help but root for the American turned French woman Elodie and Remi, the gruff at first French neighbor who doesn't like her and thinks she is there to ruin his life and her late grandfather's legacy. This is such a well written story I can not wait for the next book from this author!

Love this book!

I can never read too much about the French Provanandce, where the people know how "to enjoy" life. From food, to wine, to the landscape to love!!!
