wipe my tears and call me Susan, we’re all done here let’s wrap it up! the authors of this text are incredibly courageous, the ability to write out dreams so succinctly is incredible
i read this partially because eman abdelhadi was involved and i had appreciated Everything for Everyone so much in the way that it offered a utopian vision of the future from a moment where i could not create that vision myself. this felt like a really useful version of that for palestine, by palestinians. i am grateful for having been let into it.
Beautiful. In the midst of this horror it was a balm and a necessary reminder that we need to dream of what a brighter future will look like. This book felt like a prayer, ushering that reality in. May it be so, in our lifetime.
