Wooooow! I cant say enough great things about this book! It broke my heart to put it down so I could get some sleep, but I was right back at it the next morning and didn’t stop until I finished the last page. There are many different office romance books out there, but this one took the trope to a different level. A little added mystery and intrigue, an angst filled push and pull and when they finally came together it was explosive! Theo, Fay and their entire story easily went to the top of my favorites list for Hollyfield. He’s grumpy, bossy and a downright a**hole but cant help but have a softness towards her. She’s fighting what she thinks are one sided feelings, and so starts their journey of back a forth feelings, mis-understandings, free falling into love and a fight to the death to come out unscathed. Hollyfield has a way to pull you into the characters and their stories absorbing you into their world. This one is no exception to that! Witty, top of the spice meter hot, sensual, romantic and a bit heart pounding, you don’t want to miss this one :)

Kindle Unlimited: Yes
Stand-alone: Yes
Author: J. D. Hollyfield
Rating: 3.5/5 ⭐️
Spiciness Rating: 3.5/5 🌶
POV: First Person Dual Perspective
Couple: Theo and Fay
Trope(s): Enemies To Lovers, Workplace, Forbidden, Forced Proximity, Grump/Sunshine

‘He holds my gaze, and butterflies erupt, creating a warm flutter inside my belly. There’s no more denying the attraction between us, and I don’t know how much longer I can lie to myself. My body aches to be touched by him again. And, deep down, I think he feels the same…’

This book has been on my kindle for a while left at 80%. I stopped to take a break because the story was feeling dragged out. But, going through my kindle I picked it back up and did a re-read. As I did my re-read I remembered that I did find the storyline interesting and Theo and Fay’s banter was so good. The hate to/want to tear your clothes off vibes they have was very hot and amusing. Fay is sassy and young. Her reactions are those of a young woman and as I got to the part I paused at I reminded myself of that. Sometimes life is messy and the HEA needs to be fought for.

Theo Monroe’s life has been mapped out for him by his very controlling father. A night of living a little too on the edge opens him up to being blackmailed by his own father.

Fay Evans has spent the last four years working up the ladder to land her dream job as a commis chef at one of the hottest restaurants in the city. Sabotaged, humiliated, and fired, finding a job in the restaurant business will be nearly impossible.

Now she spends her time bartending at Bev’s. Or she did until her mother took matters in her own hands to get Fay out in the working world.

She somehow finds herself the assistant to the CEO.

A grumpy, controlling CEO.

Theo has questioned his choice to hire Fay daily. He let the wrong head do the hiring. Now she is quickly becoming his obsession.

He knows it is best to resist the pull because his life has no room for Fay and he does not want another casualty of his father’s plan on his conscience. Knowing and doing are two very different things.

Then the lies and deceit from his father compound and he knows there is no way to go back to living the life he had been before.

Fay knows Theo is holding back and soon his reality becomes known to her.

What if the only way out is through the muck?

This was a really entertaining book to read. Fay is down on her luck but somehow manages to end up working for Theo. The story is told in dual POV which I always prefer it means you get a better insight into the full storyline. I loved the banter between the main characters, it was fun and sexy and had me giggling alot. Theo did make me angry at the beginning with how he treated Fay but the more time they spend together the attraction became too hard to ignore. I liked alpha Theo just as much as the tender lover. The passion was well written with some seriously spicy sexy scenes. There is plenty of drama revolving around the business that adds a little extra angst to the storyline which I enjoyed.

4.25⭐

This was my first book by this author and I really enjoyed. It was a really fun read with tropes I really like such as grumpy/sunshine and boss/assistant.

Fay is very much down on her luck. Fay attended culinary school with the intention of becoming a chef. But due to an unfortunate incident that got her fired, she is now living with her parents and is jobless. Then her mother secures her a job interview as Theo Monroe's assistant. She doesn't want to be an assistant and has no experience. Theo hires her nonetheless, and she realizes right once that she won't be around for very long.

Seven years ago, Theo was enjoying the life he desired for himself. Then his father intervened and forced his hand. He has been actively involved in the family firm for many years and assumed the role of CEO two years ago. His demeanor has drastically changed as a result, and he is a shell of the guy he once was. He treats everyone harshly and rudely. Up until Fay stumbles into his office for her interview and starts to affect him enough to make him want more.

It took a little time to get into the book, but once I did, I couldn’t put it down. It was so addicting, the interactions between Theo and Fay as well uncovering the secrets Theo’s father had been hiding. Theo did piss me off at the beginning with the way he would treat Fay, but as the story progressed and we saw him soften up to Fay, I started to love him. Theo had a perfect balance of possessiveness and tenderness. I loved Fay as well. Her personality and her dialogue had me laughing. She was hilarious. She was the light that Theo needed in his life.

Overall, I really enjoyed this and can’t wait to read more from this author.

I just finished my copy and man, I couldn’t put it down! This has become my new favorite JD Hollyfield read! Office romances, and enemies to lovers are one of my favorite sub genres, but them together and BOOM!

Fae and Theo are so perfect together, the dialogue, the emotion, and the things left unsaid… all had had me intrigued from start to finish!
I don’t think I could laugh harder, I think her parents were my favorite part! They were super quirky and slightly… okay majorly embarrassing… I was just obsessed and glad they weren’t my parents!

I’m so looking forward to what is next from this author!

Office romances are my jam and this one was no exception! If you are looking for any of the following, then this book is for you.

Boss/employee (assistant) ✔️
Grumpy/sunshine ✔️
Lots of secrets ✔️
Meddling family ✔️
Hot mess heroine ✔️
Jerk boss ✔️
Small age gap (7 years) ✔️

Seven years ago, Theo was living the life he wanted for himself, until his father forced his hand. Now in the present, he has been involved in the family business for years and took over as CEO two year prior.

Fay went to school to be a chef, but after an unfortunate meddling, jealous coworker and boss who wouldn’t listen to her, she now finds herself living at her parents house with no job. Until her mom finds her an assistant position for Theo Monroe. Even though she has no interest in being an assistant, and has zero experience, Grumpy Theo hires her and she immediately knows that she isn’t going to make it long.

Ever since Theo’s life changed 7 years ago, he is a shell of the person he used to be and has completely changed his personality. He is awful to everyone and doesn’t care. Until Fay gets under his skin enough to make him want more. But he knows how dangerous that can be. Is she worth the risk, or is there more at play?

I loved both of these characters in their own way. Fay was absolutely hilarious. She was a hot mess in every sense of the words, but she was great. I enjoyed everything that came out of her mouth, especially when it was aimed at Theo.

Theo is so grumpy and mean, but you can tell deep down that he has his reasons. Once he let himself feel for Fay, it is hard to not fall in love with him and these characters.

There was some mystery/suspense at times in this book and I loved that unexpected surprise! This was my first J.D. Hollyfield book and 100% will not be my last!

I completely devoured the whole book. I memorized all the lines spoken by Theo and Fay.

Theo - He was not a play boy billionaire for him his career was first but then the way his own Dad betrayed him almost screwed his life. I'm glad he knew how to rule over his power and make sure he survived in the end with his girl by his side rather than losing her.

Fay - She's a badass, smart and sarcastic girl who knows to make the best coffee. Damn!! She truly knows how to keep him wrapped around her fingers. I Sometimes cried with her when she felt betrayed.

To be honest, I usually skip the Business aggreement in the book as my academic stuff are completely business related and I would to see that in the novels. But this book was truly an exception I kept reading all the loop holes in it regarding the merger agreement framed my two families (Monroe and Hills) it was pretty interesting.

Even the drama in this book was interesting (I'm not kidding) I loved how that girl (Alana) who was obsessed Theo with came to annoy Fay but the way Theo dealt with that was amazing 😍

The Bonus chapter 💕💕 was so perfect 😂 Theo didn't change a bit and Fay always how to make him blend to her 😜

Thanks a ton for this amazing ARC @wildfiremarketingsolutions and @authorjdhollyfield 😊 I can't ask for a better book than this to begin my weekend with.

MUST READ!!!

I was given an advanced readers copy of this book and have decided to write a voluntary honest review this is my second book by this author and I've really been missing out on some good writing if her other books are anything like two I've read. Power truly blew me away, it brought out all my emotions, angry, sad, betrayal, heartbroken it just all came out. I always thought woman with rich father's and business men have it bad, but think there sons might have worse. The control some these parents have over there sons is freaken crazy I truly felt for Theo in this. But I also felt for Fay she is a good person. I loved fay and Theo Soo much!

Theo's new assistant is getting under his skin and he doesn't like it. He's his usual grumpy self x1000 but somehow Fay is undoing him, making him...better? Less grumpy? Making him want to open up to her. But he's hiding a secret that has the power to destroy anything they might be developing.

Fay's life, Fay herself, is a hot mess. She lost her previous job thanks to a jerk. Her new boss is the biggest grump she's ever met and treats her like she's a second class citizen. Why she's finding herself attracted to him is a big mystery. But he's starting to open up and show her a different side of himself, and she's seeing beneath the grump. Is it possible they're starting something powerful?

I have to admit I wasn't sure Theo was a good guy at first. He took the grumpy alphahole to the extreme, and lashed out at poor Fay all the time. His backstory is pretty compelling, though, and when he started to open up to her, I could see why she was falling for him. Fay is adorable, hot mess though she is. I love how she dished out some serious sass and brought Theo to his knees. Their chemistry is sizzling, the snark and the deepening emotional connection = a great grumpy/sunshine office romance.

After reading this book, I can say with absolute certainty....it had the POWER to make me want to smack myself upside the head and scream WHERE THE HECK HAVE I BEEN AND WHY HAVEN'T I EVER READ JD HOLLYFIELD BEFORE!!! This book was not only amazing, it's FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!

Theo Monroe was groomed for a world of wealth, power, prestige, and a legacy he was more than willing and prepared to accept at a time before realizing too late that he'd become nothing more than a pawn to be played in his ruthless fathers plans. Years later Theo finds himself much like the man he despises...a cold, heartless bastard. That is until the most enticing woman that he's ever seen literally stumbles into him and he hires her to be his new assistant. With his with his future no longer his own Theo has no business fantasizing about what if's with Fay Evans despite how much she may make him yearn to with her sassy and defiant nature. As their attraction heats up, so do the stakes and after everything he's sacrificed for power, will Theo risk everything, putting it all on the line for a future with her?

As a trained chef, Fabel Evans has only ever wanted to cook the most glorious meals tastebuds have ever experienced but, after a jealous coworkers sabotage she found herself fired, blacklisted, and unable to find a job in any restaurant. After months of living in her own personal pity party, only finding work as a bartender in a dive bar, and at her mothers insistence to get back out there and suck it up...Fay finds herself landing a job as Theo's new assistant. Only, she has no experience and instead of creating tasty dishes, she now finds herself taking orders from an egotistical a$$ of a boss she hates. Theo is successful, gorgeous, and total jerk but,
there's a fine line between love and hate and as Fay begins to see the real man behind Theo's gruff exterior will she be willing to risk her heart for a man who asks for trust when all he has is secrets?

Filled with enticing suspence, sharp and witty banter, hilarious laugh-out-loud moments, smoldering hot sexy times, a few surprising twists, and a HEA that just made my heart melt....this story had me absolutely glued to the page and craving MORE! I seriously couldn't get enough of Theo and Fay and shamelessly own that 💩!

This was such an amazing story of how
having power and wealth means nothing if it at the hands of your own happiness! Theo and Fay took me on one hell of a ride and I was so HERE FOR IT! Seriously get this gem on your TBR NOW! It's an absolutely incredible read and one you won't want to miss!

Theo Monroe is a force of nature. He’s demanding and hot-headed. His dominance is lethal, and he will stop at nothing until he gets what he wants.

Who’s in the mood for some sultry office romance? Well get ready for some scorching hot enemies-to-lovers inter office romance. I am 100% crazy stupid and hooked on this author. Her brand of humor and sarcasm is what I love about her writing. And her characters have that certain charm that have you feeling like you know you’re getting ready to devour a great book. These characters are no different, Fable Evans is the heroine you can’t help but wish she was your best friend, she is saucy, and witty and she gives Theo a run for his money. I would chase any adventurous book Hollyfield threw at me. ‘Power’ is without a doubt an absolute hit and had me in giggle fits throughout this book. If you’re ready to dive into that next office, billionaire romance romp then look no further this 𝐼𝑆 the book.

First of all, how do you resist this cover? I mean look at that arched eyebrow and those eyes! But if you need more motivation to one click Power by J.D. Hollyfield, you just need to know few things. It's a spicy hot and emotionally charged grumpy Sunshine, enemies to lovers, boss employee romance that will make you swoon and melt.

When Fay Evans' dream career of a chef was sabotaged and she was blacklisted, she had to find a job. Her mother set her up for the job of executive personal assistant of Theo Monroe, the CEO of MIC. Now he is a brooding demanding ahole and his father is keeping his life under his thumb and forcing him to get married for business else his life will be destroyed. But Fay is making him want to break all the rules..and get back his power.

I am a sucker for office romance. I am easy to be impressed with an alpha billionaire. I can be easily obsessed with a bada&* heroine. And this one had all of these. Theo has been betrayed and pushed by people in his life. He may be the demanding boss in office, but he doesn’t actually have all control over his life. Fay came into his life like a storm..with her witty fierce personality and she took down his carefully erected walls. I absolutely loved the "want her but cannot have her" build up because after some time..I was silently begging them to do it anyway. Theo is the epitome of alpha hero..with his sharp and edgy personality. He is dominating and a lot of times, a complete ah0le and his dirty mouth..omg I was in heaven. They had to fight against some real cruel and evil people and they almost lost it all. Theo put the broken pieces of Fay's dreams together and she believed in herself once again and she filled Theo's lonely heart! It was entertaining as h3ll specially the way Fay challenged and teased Theo. I was smiling and laughing but at the next moment, my heart was aching for them. What a sexy emotional entertainer!

Yes! Theo Monroe! This grumpy, sexy, alpha male is deliciously hot! Theo Monroe comes from a world of wealth, power, and prestige. He's set to inherit his father's company but it comes with a price. His father pulls the strings and Theo must do what he says, or he could lose everything he's been groomed and worked for his entire life. When Fable literally stumbles into his arms, he knows he's met his match in his new office assistant, Fable aka "Fay." He tries to resist her. He knows the secrets he hides are big and potentially harmful to her but there's only so long a man can hold back, and Fay is temptation personified. Will Theo risk losing Fay or will he play it safe and do things his father's way; or will he throw caution to the wind and take a chance with Fay? You'll have to read to find out.

Fable is sexy, smart-mouthed, sassy, and defiant. She's down on her luck but she's determined to find a way back. She hates her new boss, but she also can't deny that he's sexy as hell. You know what they say... There's a thin line between love and hate. Will she be able to stick it out and work there until something better comes up? There's an undeniable attraction between them but it's forbidden, and Fay doesn't want her co-workers to think she got her position by sleeping with the boss. Will they or won't they?

Power is a unique forbidden office romance with all the feels, laugh-out-loud moments, witty banter, steamy goodness, suspense, and a surprising twist. This is standalone and ends with a HEA. If you love forbidden office romances with a twist, this is a must-read!

Fay was an up-and-coming young chef with a promising career ahead of her, until a jealous co-worker and a boss who refused to listen to her side of things basically put an end to said career, so now she’s jobless and stuck living with her parents. Somehow her meddling mother snags her an interview for a personal assistant position to the deliciously handsome yet grumpy Theo Monroe.

Despite having no experience nor the desire to be a personal assistant, Fay is hired immediately, the question is will she be able to handle working for the mean, grumpy man that is Theo Monroe?

There’s a reason why Theo’s the way he is these days, seven years ago his life changed turning him into a shell of a person from the man he used to be, completely changing his personality. He not known for his pleasantries, in fact he’s rather unpleasant to those around him and he doesn’t care, until Fay comes along that is, she manages to get under his skin, making him feel and want things for the first time in years, only he knows how dangerous things can become if he takes any chances with her, the question is… is Fay worth it, and is he ready to fight for what he wants?

Theo may be a mean grump but you quickly realise that he has his reasons and you can’t help but want him. Fay is absolutely hilarious, especially her banter with Theo, she comes across as being a hot mess but she gets things done, and she manages to worm her way under Theo’s skin. With some mystery, suspense and an unexpected surprise, this is one book you need to read, I thoroughly recommend it.

This book is a standalone and ends with a HEA. It is written in first person from an alternating dual POV.
Theo is a complex hero and I absolutely loved him. At first, I thought I wasn’t going to be able to like him, but by the end of chapter five I was completely in love. He is sometimes callous with his words and actions. There are times he is deliberately hurtful to Fay. There are times he gets caught up in a situation and hurts her unintentionally in an effort to play the game he is trapped in. He is miserable and Fay is his way to a future with happiness.
Fay is kind of a hot mess, but Theo falls for her fast. He can’t resist her spunky and sassy personality. I love how she just tells Theo how it is. She can’t fight her attraction to him. At times she is impulsive and that leads her to trouble. At times it leads to a whole lot of pleasure. The spice level between the two of them is HOT. Their intimate scenes are 5 alarm hot and packed with emotion.
There was so, so much to this story. The layers of relationships and the manipulations within them were intense at times. Work, family, intimate, and friend relationships all play important roles in this story. Power in all its forms, good and bad, is explored on the way to this hard-won HEA. I was gripped by the way power shaped so many of the relationships and the actions of the characters. This book totally knocked it out of the park. I think I have a serious book hangover.
I am voluntarily leaving this honest review after receiving an advance review copy of the book.

Ok so this was not exactly what I was expecting.

Theo is totally an a**hole like a few others have said. He is someone that seems to have everything handed to him on a silver platter. However Theo is someone that works hard and yet is that alpha a**hole that I hate to love.

Fay is totally the klutz that thought she had everything together until her entire world turned in the blink of her eye. Now she is struggling to figure out where she belongs and what she should be doing. To try and make ends meet she interviews for a job as an assistant.

These two people just do not go together at all. He is high end, polished, put together, and solid. She is average, struggling, and holding it together with a wish and a prayer.

Some how they start to work. She is super snarky and calls him names under her breathe, and he is struggling not to wring her neck. The energy coming off them is fantastic!!

Yet there is this secret that could destroy everything. One lie that has caused him nothing but pain, and she has no idea about it. The question is when it all comes out, will they be able to hold on, or will it all just disappear??

This was an enemies-to-lovers office romance with angst, spice, funny moments, and a touch of mystery.

Theo was the CEO of his family's company. He took over from his father because his father forced him into the position. He was unhappy and his only focus was doing his job and listening to his father. You would think he could have stepped down, but his father was threatening him with something from his past that could destroy him if it got out.

Fay was the complete opposite of Theo. Sure, she was having a hard time because she needed a new job after her previous career imploded. Yet, when she became Theo's assisstant, she did what he said and didn't back down when he was rude or made ridiculous demands.

I loved seeing the banter between them. Fay's responses to Theo were so funny, especially since he was trying to show his authority and scare her off. Fay was just being bubby self and slowly thawed Theo's icy exterior.

The ending had so many secrets that were uncovered, and it would not have happened without Fay. She quite litreally saved Theo. There were also some twists that I was not expecting!

This was my first J.D. Hollyfield book, but it won't be the last!

The title sure match's this story, it had strength, energy and it packed one hell of a punch, there was intrigue, mystery, heat and even some banter thrown in, and to top it of hunky, sexy Theo, who has to be one of the best grumpy boss's I have read in ages, there were times I could have thrown my kindle at him and other times he would make me swoon, Fay is the brilliant other half to this duo, and she is just someone you instantly fall in love with, life has not been exactly a bed of roses for her lately so when she ends up as Theo's assistant, something she has to know idea how to do you know the sparks are going to fly as these bounce electricity of each other all the time, but there is a twist to this tale that made my heart ache for Fay and made me want to grap Theo and shake him, which is testament to how good the story is, there are many twists, turns, slamming of doors before this to get their HEA and what a HEA it is made even sweeter by what they had to go through to get there.

I love the office romance trope. This book is hilarious. The banter between these two should be made into a movie.

The plot was something else. The book explores various themes including manipulation, greed, highhandedness.

Just when you think you have the book figured out, the plot twists and turns leaving you flipping the pages to see how the story unfolds.

I love Theo. He has become another book boyfriend. I love the way he loves Fay and some of his words are permanently highlighted. He has raised the bar of my book boyfriends.

Fay and her loud mouth has me chuckling all through the book. I love her passion, her work ethics and the way she relates with others.

I love all of the supporting characters from Kyle to Amy to Mindy and even Fay’s mum. All delivered a sterling performance.

I didn’t like how it took the author the end of the book to tell us more about Theo’s mum and how he is an only child.

I will recommend this to all rom com and office romance lovers.

I received an advanced copy of this book and the review is entirely mine.

My Review 🖋️🖋️🖋️🖋️1/2

This was my first book by JD an I loved her writing style. So I’ll definitely be looking into her backlist haha.

So Theo he’s the grumpy, bossy and ahole at times but cant help but have a softness towards Fay even when he thinks no one is watching.

7 years ago, and the hell that is now Theo’s life he’s not the same person he used to be He’s rude an unlikeable and doesn’t care. Yet the movement Fay falls into him on her interview she gets under his skin making him want more. But with the risk he would have to take to find out if she’s worth it can he?

Fay is an out of work chef who was blindside by her boss an let go for something she didn’t do then blacklisted from working at any amazing restaurants in New York. She may be a hot mess in every sense of the words, but she was great an I loved that she stood up to Theo an that’s what he needed.

There were curves, and moments of what in the world just. NEVER a dull moment in this book.

I know I don’t have the correct words to describe how wonderful I found this book, so please bear with me!! Right from the beginning I was laughing so hard at Fay and her antics. I am really hard pressed to think of a FMC I enjoyed reading more than her - she was nothing short of amazing. I loved her for Theo. She is definitely his ying to her yang. I never knew what she was going to do or say from one chapter to the next, but the way these two first circled each other and then finally came together made this the incredible book it ended up being.
There is an added element with twists and turns that also had me on the edge of my seat. Most times I can correctly guess how these plot lines play out, but nope, not once did I think how this part of the story would go.
Great storytelling with even better characters, I honestly cannot recommend this book enough. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book

***4 Stars***

OMG. My eyes hurt from all the rolling they did thanks to Theo and Fay’s antics (along with a few others, but mostly them) and though they frustrated me to no end, I found myself invested enough in them to find out just how these two would get out of their own ways and accept the pull they had to each other and just roll with it.

Soooo to be absolutely honest, I didn’t care for either Fay or Theo in the beginning. I understood that their worlds went sideways and that their situations were not ideal for either of them ~ but boy did they both go down the rabbit hole and didn’t try to crawl out. But the more they are “forced” to be around each other, the more they became themselves and in the end I did end up liking them. They are both passionate and care deeply and their form of communicating ended up being fun and kinda hawt.

This was definitely a ‘read’. These characters drove me batshitcrazy, but they were fascinating as well. The angst was intense, but the outside drama was kind of craycray…like the kind where you can’t believe something like that would happen, but it does. So, be ready for a wild and crazy ride!

Power by JD Hollyfield

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So I’ve been sitting on this review for a few days. Why? Because I RARELY give five stars to books. If a book I read gets five stars, it’s because I can’t give 10! This book had me hooked from the very first page!

Power is about Theo who became CEO of his fathers company, but we find out that that position came with some very gnarly consequences. Theo is not a nice guy, so of course he can’t keep an assistant. Until of course Fay comes along. *eyebrow wiggling*

Fay went to culinary school, but a series of mishaps blacklist her from every restaurant in the state. Her meddling mother steps in and gets her an interview as a personal assistant.

Well, I’m sure you can see where this is going! Power is so much more than a boss/assistant book. There were ups, downs, curves, and moments of WTH just happened. NEVER a dull moment in this book.

description

If you are into an office romance with a grumpy sunshine vibe, then Power is just the book for you. It was a quick read and I liked it. Theo went from grumpy to hwat in 0.5 seconds, and back to grumpy in less than that time. I really felt terrible for what 'power' was doing to him and was rooting for him to take his dad down. I felt the connection between him and Fay, but I wanted a little more character development overall. I was frustrated when Theo wasn't completely forthcoming with Fay when he wanted to, but overall I enjoyed the read.

This book was packed with so much that it kept me wanting more!!!

Office romance...check
Grumpy Hero/Sunshine heroine...check
Age Gap...check
Plus so much more

Theo is forced into being involved in the family business even though he was living his life the way he wanted.

Fay went to school to be a chef however with so much going on around her and not being believed all her plans have changed. What happens when her mother finds her a job as an assistant to none other than Theo Monroe?

Will he be able to handle the grump that Theo is or will it ruin her sunshine personality?

Will Fay be able to make Theo change his ways?

Fay was such a joy to read and you never knew what she was going to say. Theo reactions to Fay made everything encounter that much more.

The moment when everything changes between these two just made me love them even more.

Simply the best!

JD is known for her humorous online presence, she makes me laugh every time I see her videos. But that is just a small part of what makes her, her. The way she writes a story is a prime example.

Power is not about a strong man and how he takes control. I mean he thinks he’s all of those things, but in reality he’s not. Power is a story about letting go of said power and letting love take over.

Fay and Theo’s dynamics are electric from the moment they meet, you can feel the current between the two of them almost like it’s coming off the actual page. They burn fast and hot, but the question is, will that be sustainable? Will outside voices keep them apart or shove them together?

With some corporate espionage, emotional and the perfect amount of spice, JD has given us yet another great story. Do not miss out on this one!

Grab a file folder to fan yourself with this newest office romance! It is gloriously hot!

This is the story of Theo and Fable (or Fay as she likes to be called).

This is a story about money and power. This is a story of all that glitters is not gold, and love is more precious than anything.

This dual POV story is funny, smart, and oh-so steamy! The witty banter between Fay and Theo was brilliant, and the sparks that flew between them was on fire.

The obstacles that Theo and Fay had to overcome were almost insurmountable, but together they can take over the world.

The smexy times were epic, and Theo is a true alpha, in the bedroom and out.

If you are looking for a fast-paced, no holds barred office romance, look no further!
