Each book in this series breaks my heart more and more! We finally got Kristen's story, and we all know him, and I was so happy to read it. It's heavy-ish on the trafficking. So be warned.
When Kristen is sent to this place, he has a plan, and it gets tossed out the window when he saves Willow from being beaten in a scene. But she gets taken back he's confused about why she would go with them. So he's already wondering and invested in this place he starts questioning this place and getting rid of some of the men. And learns of a auction that happens.
Before that, let me tell you, Willow is super strong with all that she went through, though my heart broke for all these ladies in this series. Rory knows how to pull your heart and watch these women break and help put the pieces back together. Girl was a fighter she never gave up, and since she was at the auction, she had a plan she was going to tight tooth and nail. She did but was surprised she was saved again by Kristen. 🥰🥰🥰 he was everything I swear.
The spice was low but it's understandable since we are dealing with a tough subject.
These two were it for one another. Kristen did have a little push away since he was thinking of her and wanting what's best, but glad he got over that and took his shot. They do get help to bring down the ring. And I love these side characters. Maybe a biker series in the future. Also, Hera was a hoot. Maybe a side story about hera!!
Safety wise- H has a Sex slave on his lap in one scene. He doesn't want to get caught, so he is just using her as a cover. Nothing happens between them.
Angst, no ow/on drama, no cheating, drama, Sexy times, no virgins (it's mentioned all the abuse h went through). No real mention of H past)

Willow and Kisten.
First, above everything else, PAY ATTENTION TO THE TRIGGER WARNINGS! No joking! This book is intense and gritty. This isn't DDlg or really BDSM. There are a couple of aspects of BDSM but that is not the focus. This is about a survivor of human traffickers and the man who rescues her. It is one of the best books I have ever read, and I've read 1000's! It is a look at what these women and children go through..or at least what I imagine it's like for them. Yes this is fiction but somehow I think it's probably pretty accurate. It broke my heart thinking there are real people out there who are suffering this and I can only pray there are people like Kisten and his team out there trying to save them. Willow is Kicka$$ amazing! She and Kisten are perfect together and for each other! For all that Kisten is a Dominant, he doesn't try to control Willow. He understands her needs even better than she does and she understands his. Do get the bonus chapter..it is healing and beautiful. If I could give this more stars I absolutely would! I wish I had half the talent of Rory Reynolds so I could write this review the way it deserves! Read this book and the previous 2 in the series..you won't be sorry as long as you pay attention to the trigger warnings.

These two were explosive. She really wanted to stay but he feels unworthy.
This was about Willow who was bought at auction by Kisten as he wanted to protect her and set her free but she didn't want her freedom.
Steamy, romantic, brutal at times and intense. This story had it all. The connection between Willow and Kisten was very dramatic, but the fire was there between them, strong and with a lot of heat.
Very well done. I love books like this with an edge of danger and a real journey the characters go on as well.

This is the last book in this series and was a good way to end it. Willow is a slave in a club and has been it for years but she will not give up on getting free and kill all the men, who treated her badly. Kirsten is a bad ass man, who is doing his best at shutting down human trafficking. Their story is filled with pain, suffering, getting revenge, falling in love and being whole again.
Kinks in this book is c*ckwarming, d/s, a little bit of somnophilia, some light spanking and lot and lots of aftercare/taking care of her.

I have read so many stories about human trafficking. It is so, so sad that this goes on!
I was so thankful for Kisten! I really loved that Willow would not leave him! I think, they need each other to heal!
The story is really intense! Be ready!

Can't stop
Rory is one of my favorite authors!! And this set is one of my favs!!! The 3rd book definitely did not disappoint!! It was so good!!! I was about ready to hide in the closet behind clothes to get away from kids and dogs to finish it!!! Loved it!
