I do love being in Marietta with all of the awesome characters and this time we meet Cici Bradley, thriller writer who has connected with someone on online dating, she wants and needs to leave her home town of Fort Worth Texas because of her parents and their illegal activities, it is time for a new start and rancher Liam McFarland feels like the answer however when Liam’s brother, Logan picks her up at the airport the sparks fly.

Logan is a surgeon and is very unsure of the woman his brother has flown to Marietta, why would she leave her hometown? He knows that Liam dearly wants to marry after all that has happened to him but he can’t help feeling the way he does about Cici there is a chemistry between them but he must steer clear she is his brother’s girl.

Cici is stunned at how she feels about Liam’s brother and soon she realizes that her and Liam are best as friends and Liam feels the same way but he has requested that they keep that to themselves till a few things are worked out with his mother, so she and Logan are meeting secretly wishing they could let the world know.

When Cici thought things were going well her past catches up and their happy relationship turns upside down, will they be able overcome this and find the love and happiness they deserve?
I did very much enjoy this story it is very sensual and emotional and I do recommend it any reader who loves a good romance.

My thanks to Tule Publishing for my digital copy to read and review.

Cici Bradley is escaping from Texas and the scandal around her parent's financial Ponzi scheme. When she meets a nice cowboy on line, she is keen to get to know him better while distancing herself from the past.
Doctor Logan McFarland takes an immediate dislike to this stunning woman who is moving state to meet a stranger with a view to matrimony with his brother.
Sparks certainly fly, but are any of us convinced that it's dislike?
Cici really does like Liam McFarland, but there are certainly no sparks. But Liam has reasons to keep the illusion of a romance going and a reluctant Cici feels she owes it to him to agree.
I normally feel a little ambivalent about love triangles, but it's clear very early that this story is not about Liam.
The complications are all about the perceptions of who Cici is supposed to be with. But there is still her past hanging over her head to come to terms with.
A lovely little story with a good cast of characters who will appear in future books in the series.
The ending was satisfying.

Extremely well written story. Full of love, romance, secrets, lies, betrayal, friendship, death, emotions and twists. Cici is from Texas and invited out to Liam's ranch in Montana. They have meet on a dating site and wonder if there is more available to them then friendship. She meets his brother , Logan, when he picks her up at the airport and sparks happen. It's a shock for both of them. When she meets Liam , there are no sparks. Then he kisses her and nothing but when Logan kisses her , there are fireworks. She tells Liam that she needs to leave the ranch and that things are not what they should be. After her father's death, she tries to tell Logan the truth but he asks her to marry him. The heat is on for both Cici and Logan. All her secrets are told to Logan by an old friend who knows the truth about her parents. The break up is sad for everyone till Logan gets brave enough to talk as he has his own secrets to share. All's well that ends well for them. They get their happily ever after and we get another story about this family. Would recommend to everyone.

The Wrong Brother is book #1 in Eve Gaddy’s new Mountain Made series. This is a Marietta based series. This author writing Marietta stories is so absolutely right, like peanut butter and jelly or a cheeseburger and fries. Cici Bradley, our heroine is a fiction author who is desperate to leave Texas. Her parents are convicted felons. Convicted partially because she testified against them, but she is tired of the snide looks and remarks that follow her everywhere.

She meets Marietta rancher Liam McFarland through an online dating site. After a few months of conversing, she agrees to visit the ranch that he shares with two brothers, his mother, and their long-time housekeeper. Upon her arrival the comedy of errors begin. How can intelligent people be so helpless? This story reminds me of my favorite Eve Gaddy story, Love Me, Cowgirl, which is also set in Marietta. Despite their connection, there is no spark between Cici and Liam. Liam is desperate to keep up the pretense, hoping it will lead to his mother remarrying. Cici reluctantly agrees.

Things go from bad to worse when Liam’s brother Logan and Cici are drawn to each other like moths to a tempting flame. They succumb to their desires and their mutual attraction exceeds volcano status. Then Cici and Logan are “caught” by Connor, the other brother, and Mrs. McFarland. Everything is now out in the open… well, almost. The story of Cici’s parents’ illegal activity and incarceration becomes known, causing a rift between Cici and Logan.

Will our two stubborn characters reconnect? Will Cici stay in Marietta? Will there be a future for Cici and Logan? Liam? Connor? Mrs. McFarland? The Wrong Brother is a great ride! Cici must be incredibly beautiful because Liam and Logan lose valuable brain cells whenever she is nearby.
My rating: 5 STARS!

Cici and Liam met on a dating website which matched them even though they lived a long way away from each other! Liam couldn't meet her at the airport so Logan goes, and is immediately attracted to her, but she's Liam's girl, or is she? Liam wants his mother to be happy and the ranch owner closest has been proposing to her for ages, but she always has a reason not to say yes. But is there a spark between them?
Logan is very wary of Cici, why has she left her home town? She isn't anxious to return and is keeping secrets, but he still wants her.

Cici and Logan´s relationship starts on a path full of obstacles, but I firmly believe everything that happens to us has a meaning and their paths crossing leads to a well deserved HEA in the end.

Great start to this series. Although Cici had come to Montana to start a relationship with Liam she instantly found herself falling for his brother Logan. It was a pleasant read

The Wrong Brother by Eve Gaddy is the first book in her new series, Montana Made. The book is set in Marietta, Montana, which is so fun to return to. The series introduces the McFarland brothers. Book one features Logan. He is a surgeon at the hospital and lives with his mother and brother Liam on the family ranch. The other brother lives in town. Liam has discovered that the rancher next door has proposed to his mother. They are both widows but she won’t leave the ranch until Liam is married and has enough ranch hands. He tells his brothers that he has been talking to a woman on an online dating site and she is going to come and stay on the ranch so they can get to know each other. He is hoping they will hit it off and can get married and get his mom to leave the ranch to get married as well.

Cici Bradley has decided to leave her home in Fort Worth in search of a new place to live. We learn that her parents had gotten in trouble with the law and she needed to distance herself from them. She is a writer and ready for a change. Logan is immediately suspicious of why she would want to move to their ranch. She isn’t sure how they will react so she chooses to keep her past a secret. Cici and Liam spend a lot of time together but both realize there’s no chemistry between them when they kiss. They discuss it and confirm they are better just being friends. Logan, on the other hand notices he’s very attracted to her but cannot hit on his brother’s girlfriend. Cici also notices the chemistry and doesn’t know what to do. She wants to move out because she feels like she’s taking advantage of Liam’s hospitality. He convinces her she needs to stay until his mother agrees to marry the other rancher. Cici and Logan talk and admit to their attraction to each other but realize they can’t publicly admit anything. After things start getting better, the secrets of Cici’s past threaten to come out to Logan. There’s a lot of angst and suspense surrounding the couple’s relationship. When tragedy back in Texas strikes, there’s more worry and anxiety for Cici.

This is a terrific addition to the book series set in Marietta. The new characters in Montana Made are all so genuine and likable. The interactions between Cici and the family are interesting and fun to read. The brothers and their mother have a sweet bond. It is fun seeing the businesses we are familiar with in Marietta and also the characters from prior books. I am looking forward to the next book. This is a five star book I highly recommend.

I was fortunate to receive an ARC of the book from Tule Publishing in exchange for my honest review.

I had a really hard time warming up to this book. It wasn't that there was a big thing wrong with it, but more like there were several smaller things and, put together, it was just a little too much for me.

I suppose the most prominent problem was that I didn't think that the two main characters had any chemistry. A major part of the plot is that Cici came to Montana to meet one brother, Liam, but felt no chemistry with him; instead, she supposedly had all the feels for his other brother Logan. The fact that I felt no sparks either way was therefore instantly problematic.

Another issue is that she's supposedly keeping this big secret about her parents. Yes, the secret was big, but it was never really clear to me why she didn't feel like she could tell either Liam or Logan. Even knowing that people back home in Texas believe the worst of her wasn't enough for me to buy into this plot point.

When the truth comes out and there's drama as a result, the story gets mildly interesting for a short bit. But then Logan's ongoing reaction and Cici's ongoing reaction to Logan's ongoing reaction puts us right back into yawn territory. If there wasn't any chemistry to start with, there certainly isn't any chemistry now.

The writing style was okay but I couldn't help but feel like the author was borrowing phrases left and right from other romance books. It's true that there's a certain amount of repetition when you stick with any one genre, but it just didn't feel new or genuine to me. There's also superfluous description and repetition at times that I don't think the author noticed, but perhaps a good editor would. For example, we're told more at once that Logan's brother. Connor has blonde hair like his father and that he and his brother Liam take after his mother. And the phrase "to steep" in someone (like tea?) Was original the first time, but awkwardly noticeable the second.

Of course, some of these things are minor, but when put together, it made for a book that was readable but not particularly interesting or memorable. I think there are a lot of people who might like this author and her writing style. But I don't think this is a writer that I will come back to in the future.

I received an ARC of this book for free from the author and BookSirens. I'm writing this review voluntarily, and it reflects my honest opinion. Thanks!

Cici Bradley had to get out of Dodge, well Ft. Worth, Texas after her family was involved in a scandal that made it hard to stay and not be tainted with her mother and father's illegal schemes that put them both in prison. So she answered an on-line dating profile with Liam McFarland to see if the two of them were a good pair. He was good looking and kind, but there was no chemistry and besides that, she was instantly attracted to his brother Logan. And she was fighting those feelings.

Logan McFarland was a surgeon and was asked by his brother to pick up Cici at the airport and was not ready to be having his live changed forever when he met the girl his brother brought to Marietta, Montana to see if she would be the perfect wife for his brother. She was hands off, but could he keep those hands to himself once they both declared they had feelings for each other.

This is great start to a new series by the author and she gives us lots of romance and fun with the first book. I loved that Logan was a stand up guy and did not want to hurt his brother and that Cici was honest with Liam and how she felt about their situation and not wanting to hurt Liam or cause trouble with the brothers. We meet lots of the characters we have come to love in town of Marietta and we are sure to meet some more in the books to come. It's like coming home to a place we love.

Cici Bradley is a writer, and she is wrapped up with a family scandal that she needs to escape. Everyone in her hometown is suspecting her as being part of her parents' illegal activities. When in all truth she was the one that had turned them in and had nothing to do with their scam. Now she is on her way to Marietta, Montana to meet up with Liam McFarland that she met on a dating app, and hopefully have a fresh start. This is going to be a big step for her going from the big city of Ft Worth, Texas and moving to little rural town of Marietta, Montana. She has never seen snow before, lived in an area where she could not order dinner to be delivered to her or been far away from a mall or shopping. Now she is headed to meet Liam and start a new life with him. Liam lives on a ranch and raises horses. He could not meet me at the airport as his prize horse was delivering a baby, so he sent his brother Logan. Liam has two brothers Logan who is a doctor and Conner their younger brother.

Liam wants to get into a relationship so his mother will marry their neighbor who has been asking her for years, and she wants to make sure her boys are being taken care of before she thinks of herself and her future. When she meets Liam, he is handsome and charming, but they have zero chemistry. She went to Marietta to meet one brother…but fell for another, Logan and her had sparks which could ignite at any time if they would let them. Logan finds himself caught in her spell, but Cici belongs to Liam and is totally off-limits to him.

I got this book from Book Sprout and will be happy to leave my review.

The Wrong Brother ~ Montana Made#1 by Eve Gaddy

Publisher Description
She went to Marietta to meet one brother…but fell for another

The Wrong Brother by Eve Gaddy is my first introduction to this author, but it won't be my last. I found this book to be written extremely well, with wonderful characters you can relate to. The storyline has a good flow and is also believable. I felt that I was transported to Marietta and was there along with Cici and Logan.

The chemistry between the two was so good, a great start to a new series.
This starts with Liam ( Logan's brother) using a dating app, as he needs to convince his mother that he will be fine if she leaves the ranch to re-marry her neighbour.
Liam cannot pick Cici up from the airport, Logan steps in and cannot understand why Liam thinks it is a good idea to marry someone you haven't met before. No more spoilers, as my words will not do this book the justice it needs.
I was kept engaged from the beginning till the end with this wonderful story, and I highly recommend this book to all, I am looking forward to reading book two, later in the year.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Easy-to-read, Entertaining, Happily Ever After, Inspirational, Page-turner, Romantic, Realistic, Wonderful characters, and set in Marietta Montana

the wrong brother by Eve Gaddy
This story starts out with Logan and he's a medical doctor. He lives at the family ranch along with his brother Liam and their mom.
There's a lot of turmoil as Liam has invited a woman to stay with them to find out if she's the one. They've been zooming for many months for hours on end. She is a thriller author and love how she connects to eh local librarian.
Liam is the horse and ranch manager. Story follows the woman also, Cici and when she arrives Logan is the one to pick her up at the airport. Liam is busy helping birth the new foal.
They just don't hit it off from the start. We learn the problem later and the solution.
Liam and Cici do get along and she's not used to being around horses. They are trying to persuade their mom that Liam is all set, settled down, etc so she can go on and marry her intended and not have to worry about Liam at all.
Things don't go according to plan. So many twists and turns and just when things are right there are secrets that come out but not from the one who knows the truth of the secrets.
They both have things to hide from their past...
Great story and love hearing about the shops in the town.
Received this review copy from the publishing company and this is my honest opinion.

So much to unpack here and I cannot wait for the next story in this heartfelt, entertaining series. Thanks to @tulepublishing and the author for sharing this fabulous story with me!

Liam lives on a ranch in Montana and is worried that his mom won't marry her boyfriend as long as he is single. So, he goes on a dating app to find someone.
Cici is an author and lives in Texas. Because her family has some notoriety in Texas, she is thrilled to respond to Liam's post.
She flies to Montana, but Liam can't pick her up at the airport, so he sends his brother, Logan. Sparks fly from the start, though they both try to ignore them.
But no matter what she does, there is no spark with Liam, and Liam feels the same way. Meanwhile, Logan has been trying to ignore his feelings to no avail, when he finds out that Cici feels the same he is relieved and thrilled.
But their pasts make them both make mistakes, can they forgive and look past them, or will they let the best thing they have ever know slip away?
I have to admit, that I found both Logan and Cici a little annoying, especially with their keeping secrets from each other.

This book introduces the readers to the McFarland brothers of Montana.
Liam, a rancher whose last relationship was a disaster, has decided to try online dating with someone not from his hometown.
Cici Bradley , a romance author currently using her pen name to avoid recognition, needs to get out of Texas and what better way than taking up the invitation from her online “date” , Liam.
Meanwhile, Liam’s physician brother Logan, finds this all very fishy and believes Cici is hiding something.
That doesn’t stop him from being attracted to Cici, and vice a versa. All seems going on a smooth path until Cici’s past and secrets catch up with her.
I have to confess that I struggle with the plot and never engaged with either the story or the characters. I also didn’t feel Logan and Cici truly connected with each other and at times acted more like YA than more mature adults. Maybe because I am older, this one just didn’t do it for me. I am sure others will have a different opinion.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Tule Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Eve Gaddy is one of my favorite romance authors. This is another of her wonderful books. Cici Bradley takes a chance on romance with a Montana rancher Liam. She leaves Texas and the rumors of her being involved in her parents' crime behind. Liam's brother Logan is suspicious of why Cici has resorted to an online dating site. Surely, she could have found a man in Texas. There are no real sparks between Cici and Liam, but there are plenty between Logan and Cici. I received a free copy of this ebook from the author. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. I love the characters and the story. I really like the strong friendship between Liam and Logan and the one that develops between Liam and Cici. I also love that Cici is always trying to do the right thing and that Logan is honorable. This sweet and occasionally steamy romance is a great start to a new series.

I really liked this story. It’s always fun to go back to Marietta! Cici is a writer who needs to get away from her home town due to her family. She met Liam on line and decided to visit. Instead of Liam picking her up at the airport, Liam’s brother, Logan goes in his place.

Logan is skeptical of this woman and why she would leave her home to come to Marietta. However, there is major chemistry between Logan and Cici. Liam and Cici decide they are better off as friends. Just when Cici and Logan are starting something, her past catches up to her.

This story was well written with solid conflict to keep me reading from start to finish. The characters had good growth and the emotion hit me in all the feels. A great romance! I’m looking forward to the next one!

Huge thanks to Tule publishing for allowing me to read and review this story!

I really enjoyed this book. At first I thought it was going to be about a girl falling for her boyfriends bother. Gross. I was so happy that it was nothing like that. There was no sharing between brothers. Liam thinks his mother won't move on with her life until he is married and settled. Both of his brothers are in the medical field, so that leaves Liam to handle all things ranch related. Liam decides to use an app to find a potential wife. CiCi needs to start over anywhere but Fort Worth. When she meets Logan, Liam's brother, he dislikes her. Liam is perfect on paper but there are no sparks. When Cici's past comes to light she regrets no telling them about it from beginning. Can they over look her past and can she really be with the man she loves? Great read.

I was ready to DNF this one, but stuck with it. There is just too much rinse and repeat in the book's first half. The “plan” becomes annoying after the same thing happens over and over. Things change about 60% through the book, and get interesting again. The family dynamics of the McFarlands are fun, and their loyalty to one another is unquestionable. Cici’s family is much different, and she isn’t willing to reveal it. I didn’t feel much chemistry between Logan and Cici. At least, not the kind of chemistry you would expect considering the circumstances. When the truth about Cici’s family comes out, there is drama and things are interesting again, but that doesn’t last long. So, it’s the same ‘ole, same ‘ole again. I don’t dislike the book. My feelings are rather blah about it.

Cici came to Montana to get away from those who were blaming her for her parents criminal actions and to see it there was a connection between rancher Liam and herself. She likes him even if they don’t have much in common but she’s attracted to his grumpy suspicious brother Logan, who questioned why she was there from the beginning. I’m surprised he didn’t follow up on that sooner especially when they became involved and had to hide it. Cici seems to have her own chip on her shoulder about things and is quick to push Logan away when he discovers the truth in this steamy enemies to secret lovers romance.

Cici is desperate to escape Texas and agrees to join Liam at his ranch in Montana. There is no spark between Cici and Liam but oh boy is it ever there for Liam's brother Logan. How to handle it leads to misunderstandings, hurt feelings and comical (and sometime steamy) situations. I love the setting of Marietta and the secondary characters and this is what saved the story for me. Frankly Cici and Logan not being honest with each other irked me-they are adults for crying out loud. A good introduction to the series and I look forward to my next visit to Marietta. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Wrong Brother by Eve Gaddy is a story of new beginnings, a new surprise love and family. Cici Bradley comes to Marietta, Montana to meet one brother, she has meet on a dating app but fate has different plans. A story with drama and angst, it is an enjoyable read.

Cici finds that sometimes you can not outrun your family’s past but that you also don’t have to live under its control. Dr. Logan McFarland finds out that all mysteries are not devious, some are just private. Love comes when you least expect it and even more with someone you least expected. While Liam McFarland is not the brother for Cici hopefully he will get his own full story next.

A great start to a new series, Montana Made. Cici has arrived in Marietta to meet one brother but ends up with the other brother. She met Liam on a dating site while she was living in Texas, he invited to Marietta but was unable to pick her up at the airport so he sent his brother, Logan. Logan has an instant attraction to her but does not act on it until he realizes there is no chemistry between his brother and Cici. Cici is keeping a big secret from her past from Logan. Will they be able to move forward in their relationship?

I really enjoyed this book, i had a hard time putting it down. My heart broke for Cici. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Meant to be together

Loved this story about Liam asking Cici to come to the ranch to see if they could build something from their internet relationship. When they finally met up there was no chemistry between them. After trying to make a go of their relationship they realised that they were better off as friends. That was when Cici and Logan, Liam's brother, realised that the chemistry between them was something special and decided to explore if there was a real chance of them being together. Apart from there being a blimp in their relationship they managed to find their happily ever after.

The Wrong Brother is book 1 in the Montana Made series by Eve Gaddy, a new to me author.

This story has a modern day mail order vibe, Liam and Cici meet on an internet dating site, he invites her to his ranch in Montana to get to know each other. He sends his brother to get her from the airport and sparks fly..except it’s with Logan and not Liam. There is also an underlying story for Cici…read on to see what happens!

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy (ARC) of this book from Tule Publishing. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wonderful start to this new series. Cici meets Liam on a dating site flies to Marietta to meet him. When she gets there things do not go the way she thinks they will. Liam's brother Logan picks her up at the airport and sparks fly! Logan is so unsure of Cici. Cici is not sure what she should do. Their story is an entertaining read. It will make you laugh and smile. I am really looking forward to this next book in this series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Cici desperately desires to leave Fort Worth and the convictions of her parents for their Ponzi scheme. Liam joins a matchmaking site to meet someone out of state who will not know his past heartbreak. Cici answers him and is on the way to Marietta to meet him. But, she meets his brother first and there is definitely something there between them. Talk about a conundrum! Spicy and darn crazy love!

Logan and Cici romance.

Logan was a doctor had broken heart for trusting a woman who was liar. He would it get close to another woman due to trust issues.

Cici came to meet his brother Liam but they had no spark.

They have ups and downs, must read to see issues and solutions.

This is very good author can’t wait til her next book.
