Robert Lawrence Stine known as R. L. Stine and Jovial Bob Stine, is an American novelist and writer, well known for targeting younger audiences. I learn that you should be happy and grateful for what you have already. Because in the story Joanna wasn't happy and grateful for what she had already, she dated two boys at a time, Dex and Shep. When Dex got injured Joanna didn't come to see him once and he thought that he will scare her. And Scotty thought it was okay to date a girl for one night, but he already have a girlfriend name Lora who was away when Scotty was dating the girl. The girl named Shannon won't go away and think Scotty is her baby. Shannon bother him everyday and killed his snake and Lora's cat. I learn that it is very important that you be grateful for what you already have, and if you don't bad things will happen like to Scotty and Joanna.
