Stone Riders MC #4

Where We Ended

Rate this book
It’s been two years since I was traded to the Stone Riders Motorcycle Club.
While it saved my life, I was forced to leave behind the only person that ever mattered to me.
Dripping with tattoos, his hair as dark as his soul, the brooding president of the Death Raiders still holds my heart...even if he doesn't seem to know what to do with it.
Yet, Silas has watched me from afar for years, always protecting me from a distance, and creating havoc on my tattered emotions.
To love, and be loved an arm's length away has been torture…until it seemed we might finally free ourselves of this pain.
Unfortunately, whatever we wanted, or could have dreamed of having gets ripped out of reach when old enemies return.
While one wants power, the other....only wants me.
I’ll grieve the dream of a future with Silas because if there’s one thing I know, it's that there is no world in which he would ever share me with another.
If this is to be our end, then I'll say goodbye with ink-stained arms wrapped around me and death itself still holding my heart.

Okay here’s the thing, I sat on this book for over a week and I just can’t in good conscious stand behind my first review. So here we are changing it.

I have waited for what dealt like forever for Silas and Natty and I just feel like this wasn’t it for me. ( Don’t come for me LOL I will explain) This is your warning now that I am about to spoil so get outta here if you don’t want that ha!

Silas and Natty grew up as foster siblings, they always had a connection but one thing happened after another (which was just a bunch of miscommunication between them when they should have just told each other what was happening) HOWEVER. There was a side plot featuring Alec, Silas’s brother, who is apparently wildly obsessed with Natty but did nothing really in the book but SA her. It was gross. I can’t with all of that. AND THEN to give him a like redemption arc and name your children after the man who kidnapped and assaulted her was disgusting.

All that being said. If you enjoyed this book I truly love that for you, as you probably saw before I didn’t mind it. I think what really got me was the Alec storyline and I just can’t recommend this one anymore. HOWEVER I will still stand by the rest of this series as I still love the rest of the books.

Okay love you guys bye.

My heart - did I cry no I SOBBED my eyes out! I am still a complete blubbering mess over these two characters & final book in the Stone Raiders MC Series!

Silas & Netty are the perfect ending for the series!

These two… these two…have always been the definition of each others safe haven, each others homes, their love story took my breath away truly Ashley did such an impeccable job showing her readers that there is such a feeling to express the way someone makes you feel complete, comfortable, your everything, SOULMATES!

Silas we’ve seen bread crumbs in the other books very mysterious, moody and comes off as a d*ck but in his story he definitely softens for Netty & we see a more subtle way of him!

Netty is that type of heroine who’s been through the ringer in life and is a true warrior with a biggest heart of gold at the end of the day when she loves she loves HARD!

You finally see why Silas & Netty are apart of different Motorcycle Clubs and why they are not “officially together” you see how they can’t stay apart you understand their complications & differences!

To me this book was the most romantic and impactful, not in the typical contemporary happily ever after ending way, because nothing about them is typical or easy, they are troubled, devastating, breathtaking and just utter perfection!

Н.О.Т. is an understatement when it comes to the spicy scenes between these two…. “I can’t keep my hands off you” saying is an understatement for these two! ❤️‍🔥

Silas & Netty’s story is soul crushing most of the time and some events will be hard to root for them and digest but even in the dark times they get a well deserved “happy ending!”

No me cerró.

The Stone Ridge series ended on a high note. My favorite of the series. I highly recommend reading the entire series before reading this one just because of Natty and Silas and their history. This is a childhood friends to lovers and it was amazing. I had been very intrigued by their connection since they were introduced in book 1 and their story throughout the whole series definitely made this book one I anticipated. Natty and Silas delivered all the feels. Their love story was beautiful and also painful at times but love prevails and theirs did. This book tied up every loose end and the characters from the previous books played an important part in this story too. Natty aka Caelum and Silas have my heart.

The fourth and final instalment in the Stone Riders MC series, this book has been building from the very beginning. A dramatic, dark and emotional story, Silas and Natty’s romance and long-awaited reunion is a wild rollercoaster that had me hooked from start to finish, and I loved it!

From the books so far, we know that Natty has been traded to the Stone Riders MC and is living quietly within the club for protection, and Silas is the broody, violent, ruthlessly feared President of the Death Raiders who watches over her from afar. I love it when you get series build up like this and go into a book already invested in the characters and their romance. And while I thought I had an idea of Silas and Natty’s story, actually getting to explore their past and the depth of their relationship was something else entirely.

All I wanted was Natty in my arms again. I’d waited long enough; Natty belonged to me.

Raised in the world of a dangerous 1% motorcycle club, Silas and Natty were foster siblings from a very young age. They grew up in the midst of danger, with trouble coming from multiple directions, trapped in their world and just doing their best to survive it. They cared for and protected each other, and as they grew up they fell in mad, unbreakable love and became each other’s whole worlds.

Contrary to what we’ve been led to believe, big, scary Silas is actually a gentle soul who was dragged into a dangerous world that he wants nothing to do with. And though Natty has existed quietly in the background, she’s actually quite the badass – strong, brave, and willing to do whatever is necessary to reclaim her life. In the last book, Natty was taken by an enemy from their past, and now Silas is on an all-consuming mission to rescue the woman he loves.

“You are my sun, my moon. My life. I will come back for you.”

Moving between the past and the present, we get to see all of the detail of their early lives, how they became the people they are, what led to their separation, their reunion, and how they adjust to being back in each other’s lives. It’s a messy and heartwrenching journey, but at the heart of it is the most beautiful love story. These two are so in love, so committed, and so meant to be, and even in the dark ugliness of their world, they are able to bring peace and happiness to each other, and they are so beautiful together.

“Silas, you’re not beyond hope. You never will be.”
My throat was tight, and it seemed to swell with something uncomfortable. “How do you know?”
“Because you have me, I’ll be your hope. I’ll be your sun, your moon and anything else good in this world. Give me your dark and I’ll hand you all my light.”

They’ve been through so much already, but the danger is far from over. Evil from the past has returned and they find themselves once again in the firing line, testing them in ways they never could have anticipated. Despite their shared history and the depth of their connection, they discover that they still have things to learn about their pasts, and each other, and they are prepared to risk it all as they both go out to confront the danger that threatens their future.

“I’d die a thousand times over if it meant I could keep you safe. My life is not worth living without you in it … You’ve been my forever since my life started.”

I love these two together. They are the perfect complement to each other, and their connection is soul deep. They are both fiercely protective and would do anything for each other, and I loved seeing them reunited, rediscovering each other, opening up and dealing with their past traumas, and fighting for their future. It’s emotional and full of passion, and there’s something so very special about the two of them together.

But their world is dark and this is a dramatic and emotional read, and so very violent. There is dark subject matter in this book, so beware the author’s trigger warnings, and be prepared to feel, because this book broke my heart a number of times. But although it hurts, it’s worth it to see Silas and Natty come through and get the happy ending that they wanted, and that they so deserve.

The couples from previous books all appear, and I loved checking in with them and seeing them rally around Silas and Natty. There’s an epilogue which gives great closure, and I finished this book feeling so happy at how it all finished up.

I have really enjoyed this series, and Silas and Natty’s story wraps it all up really nicely. It’s a rollercoaster, but well worth it, and I loved this book.

4.5 stars.

I sit here, barely able to see my screen as I type this, because I'm devastated.

This series is OVER yall, how the hell did that happen?! This hurt, my heart broke, and broke some more, and mended and then broke and then the ending was just evvvvvvvverything and fixed all my broken heartedness. I felt so many emotions.

We've gotten small glimpses and peeks into Silas & Natty from the word jump, and dammit, if this wasn't absolutely superb.

No spoilers, just leaving with these parting words....We cannot have the light without the darkness. And we cannot have the darkness without the light.

This book...infinite stars for all time. ALL. TIME.

Go read this right now

Ashley has been out here throwing breadcrumbs for Silas and Natty throughout this series, and being able to meet these two characters properly was everything I’d hoped for, and more. This story is one of epic proportions. It is profound, soul crushing, heartbreaking but beautiful. It is everything I expected and MORE.

This is the last book in the Stone Riders MC series and I highly, highly recommend reading the series in order to fully understand and appreciate Silas and Natty.

I don’t know where to begin with these characters. I adored Natty so much; she was so strong, patient, loyal and incredibly forgiving. There were so many points in this book where I wanted to reach through the pages and just hug her. I love how she wasn’t the timid character that had been portrayed in the other books!

Silas “The Roman” Silva - the ruthless, scary MC Prez but a man absolutely OBSESSED with Natty. Like, literally burn down the world for you, love. I was rooting so hard for these two and their love story is a rough ride, told wonderfully through a well executed dual time line. I don’t think I have ever read about a couple who was meant to be together as much as these two. Their love was profound, soul deep and I just wanted their happy for them so bloody badly. I loved and admired their faith, loyalty and trust in one another - it was them and no one else!

This book had me completely in my feels, it was an epic conclusion to this series and I loved the epilogues from the different POVs and now it all came full circle. Ashley is so clever and I cannot wait to read more from her.

Please check your triggers before reading; there are some heavy ones!

Thank you Ashley and your team for the arc!

I've been waiting for this one 🥰

Natty and Silas were together through their childhood. They grew up together. They loved each other. But two years ago, Natty was traded to the Stone Riders MC and Silas had to let her go. It was better for Natty's safety. So for two years, Silas watched from afar to make sure she was safe. When they finally start to find their way back to each other, old enemies return. Some wanted the power. Some just wanted Natty. Silas refuses to let go of the revenge plan and Natty refuses to let go of him. Maybe it's the end of Natty and Silas, but at least they'll go out together.

She was the last rays of a sunset that kissed the world before dipping into starry oblivion

I absolutely adore Silas' love for Natty. It is all consuming. He would gladly burn the world, or just simply burn, for her. Silas is the definition of darkness. However, the brightest pieces of him really shine through when Natty is in the picture. She reminds him that he isn't so alone and that there are good things out in the universe.

I'll be your hope. I'll be your sun, your moon and anything else good in this world. Give me your dark and I'll hand you all my light.

Natty is the brightest light. She had a really rough upbringing and has a lot of trauma from her past. But Silas makes the world feel so much safer. She knows that he won't ever let something happen to her. But when something goes wrong, she wants to really find herself again. I loved her finding herself while also loving Silas. She refuses to keep giving pieces of herself away to others and never leave anything for herself.

You’re my religion, Natty. My place of worship and devotion.

tropes:
-motorcycle club
-childhood friends to lovers
-touch her and ☠️
-grumpy x sunshine

It's no secret that I have been a HUGE fan of Ashley for basically forever. Her writing is one of my faves and I have loved everything I've read of hers. This series has truly blown me away and I think it's safe to say we have all been on pins and needles waiting for this story.

Let me tell you...it was WORTH THE WAIT. If you've read the other three books of this series, you know that this story was bound to be heavy and sad and dark...and it was all that and more. I cried so many tears reading this book and I was so emotional afterward that I basically went and cried to Ashley and on stories. Sorry not sorry.

Silas and Natty fought the hardest I've ever seen a couple fight for each other. It was intense and my heart broke several times watching them grow up. They were made for each other. If you didn't know that prior to this book, you will have zero doubt after reading this masterpiece.

Thank you Ashley for giving us their story to fall for and break and put ourselves back together. You just keep getting better and I cannot wait to see what you bless us with next!

What a ride! This is HEAVY! But a great book nonetheless. After getting little easter eggs of Silas and Natty in the first 3 books, I NEEDED their story and it was so good! Please check your triggers! I skipped over chapters 9 & 25 as per the content advisory. Skipping those didn't make me feel as if I missed anything though. Alec was a complete shock... I actually was intrigued from previous books but now, I'm a mixture of angry, pity and sorrow over that entire dynamic. This was a fantastic ending to the Stone Riders.

I’ve been anticipating this book since Ashley started teasing it and I’m supremely sad that it’s over but what a ride it has been!

For the most part, I loved this book. Natty and Silas have been teased for three books and I knew it was going to be an angst fest extraordinaire. And they DELIVERED on that front. It’s heartbreaking to see them try to protect each other by inevitably making choices that hurt themselves in the process. But Munoz doesn’t inject angst for angsts sake which I loved! We still have plenty of angsty moments but there’s never a doubt that Silas and Natty are *it* for each other. Silas is so broody and intense and Natty is, for all her sunshine attitude, ready to bend their story to her will and I was living.

Something I’ve loved about this series is that it’s not as much focused on the club politics as it is the romance (which is my struggle with most MC romances). But even though there’s more violence and darkness in this one, it’s majority flashback scenes that highlight it and that really gives us time to spend with our MCs in the present while they navigate complicated emotions, complicated history, and whether or not they can move forward as they are. It was just angsty enough for me (a literal cry baby) without feeling like I was being sucker punched over and over. Seeing all the side plots come full circle was lovely and I enjoyed seeing everyone get their happy ending. Including check ins with the previous books’ MCs! Did I wish things hadn’t been wrapped up so easily? Sure! Especially for a villain as terrible as Fable has been made out to be.

But…and this is a very minor spoiler but I’m warning you now. I have a caveat and it’s killing me to not be able to love this book in its entirety because this one thing bothered me so bad that I couldn’t fully love this story or give it a glowing rating. Natty is sexually assaulted in this book by Silas’ brother who she has always considered a friend but has honestly always been terrible and creepily obsessed with Natty. I didn’t need to see him forgiven and I really didn’t need to see Natty and Silas name their child after him. It gave me a full body reaction when I read it and has bothered me enough that I changed my knee jerk initial “I LOVED THIS” reaction to a “why was this necessary” reaction. I’m all for villain redemption but I don’t need a sexual assaulter redemption like…ever. And I’m sad this was part of the story because otherwise I loved the book. But whew. That was a hard pill for me to try and swallow.

CW: sexual assault of the FMC, violence and mild gore (including crucifixion and removal of body parts), Alzheimer’s of a side character, death of side characters, parental neglect (historic), kidnapping/abduction of FMC by bad guys, parental abuse (off page, historic), grief, threats of sexual violence against FMC by bad guy, sexualization of a minor (FMC is 16 years old) by bad guy, burning by putting out cigarette butts into FMC’s skin by bad guy, terminal illness resulting in death of a side character (off page, non graphic)

This was such a good ending to the series. Even though I’m sad to see it all wrap up, I am living for the drama, violence, spice and touch-her-and-die world of Natty and Silas. There were a few moments that really surprised me and then helped to tie all the four stories together. The epilogues also gave a solid glance into the lives of some of our favorite characters.

I’m so sad I didn’t love this one as much as I have the rest of the series! The rest of the series was five stars for me so I was fully expecting to fall in love with this one too, especially since it’s a couple we’ve been waiting for…but it just didn’t hit the same for me sadly.

“Forever, Caelum. I’ll want you for that long, and then longer when the devil demands my soul.”
She kissed my chest. “He can’t have what belongs to me.”

This is the 4th and final book in the Stone Riders MC series and it is finally Natty & Silas’ book! They grew up around one another and this one is small town, MC, it’s always been you, possessive, touch her and 💀 (or lose your hand 😬), and allll the burn the world down vibes. This jumps back and forth between past and present chapters, but it was difficult to tell the times apart sometimes since Natty and Silas would be in similar situations of being apart in both time frames. There are some bad guys involved in the story, it kicks off with her abducted. His estranged brother wants her, their dad also wants her and threatens them. But she only has eyes for Silas. I just didn’t feel their connection in this one quite as much as we got little glimpses throughout the series. This did really tie up a lot of the other couples and character’s stories though being the last book in the series and all. I just wanted to fall for the couple more. But definitely read the series, overall it is amazing and the first 3 books are so so bingeable!

I received an ARC, all thoughts in this review are my own.

Boy oh boy.
I needed this story to provide and shit did it do just that.
Natty and Silas are my second favourite couple in this series (Laura and Killian will forever have my heart),

The stories the two of them share together are so tragically beautiful and there are so many layers to them both you are exposed to near every emotion possible to experience. The lengths they each went for each other is out of this world, I can’t imagine the pain with the distance and unspoken words between them to ensure the other is safe - ugh.

This was absolutely the best story to end on and I finished the book feeling like I had all the closure I needed, I didn’t need more. It was total perfection.

This series holds a special place in my heart as it was the first book chosen for a book retreat I organised with a friend and everyone became instantly addicted and have read the three that are released!

It’s a testament to Ashley’s writing and genius.

I’m sad to say goodbye to this but I’ll be re-reading. 🖤

Beautiful.
Heartbreaking.
Emotionally devastating.
Masterpiece.

Ashley Munoz. You have given us exactly the story that no one knew they needed. You have given us a story that just proves how to love someone so deeply that you will do absolutely everything for them.

"I’d die a thousand times over if it meant I could keep you safe. My life is not worth living without you in it, Caelum. You’ve been my forever since my life started. If you were to end, then I would too.”

There is so much that I want to say, but I don’t want to spoil this book. There are so many revelations and so many loose ends tied up. Loose ends that you didn’t even know you needed tied up.

She answers every single question about Natty and Silas in the best way. We find out their backstory. We find out what led up to the trade to the Stone Riders. We find out what led up to the cliffhanger ending from the third book. We find out everything.

Thank you Ashley. For writing this beautiful book and giving us these amazing characters.

Did I need a minute to write this review yes, is it because I was uncontrollably sobbing, yes.

Am I obsessed with this series yes 😭😭

I am so sad that this series has ended, but this book was absolutely beautiful way to end.

The love and trauma and Silas and natty share is empowering but also absolutely heartbreaking, what they both went through from such a young age and all they ever cared about was ensuring each other was safe.
I absolutely loved Ashley’s attention to detail in all four books but especially this book it wrapped up so many un answered questions for me, and each big event had a reason!

Agh! This series will forever hold a special place in my heart and one I will definitely not forget.

wow oh wow.

did I still down and consume this book in one sitting? Yes I did.

any regrets? Just that it’s officially over and I had to say goodbye to the stone riders!!!

The way Ashley was able to plant little Easter eggs in each book in this series that literally had me on the edge of my seat for this book. She was able to do it in a way that as each piece of Silas and Natty’s story was unveiled it was all a mystery!!

I don’t want to give away any spoilers because truly this story is best consumed by going in blind, but I will say this was just a beautiful way to end such an addicting series! I love Silas and Natty so so much😭

Also the epilogues had me in tears!!

I teetered on a 4.5 or 5 stars but after sleeping on it went with 5 stars. Ashley legit knocked it out of the park with the final book in this series. We had been getting teases about Natty and Silas throughout the other books, but the story was so much more than I thought it was. I loved the different timelines and dual POVs. I loved the instant connection and love that turned into so much more. I loved hearing about our other characters. I had a REALLY hard time with Alec- I couldn't really move past what happened with him and Natty. I also wish we had seen more of how their relationship developed. And man oh man the almost ending was so heart breaking! I loved that both of these characters had been through so much and even though Natty was known as the sunshine one she ended up needing Silas to be her sunshine too. This story made me feel a lot of things- I was hopeful. I was sad. I was falling in love. I was sick to my stomach. I was proud. I was falling in love again. I was scared. I was sad. I was REALLY sad, and then I was smiling and wistful like. Most of these books have had some dark under tones, but this one definitely took the cake in that department. I would check the TW before reading.

Natty has been waiting for her soulmate to come back to her for two years. For two years, she has lived in another club. Made another life. Been happy, but she hasn't felt whole. She has been getting bits and pieces of him throughout this time and she thinks they are going to get reunited when in fact she gets kidnapped. By none other than her childhood friend and Silas's brother Alec and their father Fable. Fable who is the evil of all evil. She tries to draw on everything Silas trained her on but this is Alex- he wouldn't do anything crazy right? Wrong. She was so wrong. Now she is broken. She doesn't know what to do or think. Will Silas come for her? Will they make it? And then he does. He shows up, but is he ready to move on from his life of vengeance? Especially since Fable is still out there as a threat. Natty decides she is going to take matters into her own hands because the one thing she knows is that Silas is her husband, and she is not going to be left behind this time. She just hopes that there will be enough of them left to build from. She hopes that love will be enough to survive what they have been through.

Silas is lost. The love of his life is gone. Taken from him by his brother and father. Taken from him- the one man who should have been able to protect her. The man who would do anything for her. Her husband. The same husband who hasn't been around her in two years. The same husband who trusted his mom's direction on why she left and what his focus should be. The same husband who decides to he** with it and goes for her. The same husband who finds her broken and not like the beautiful sunshine she is. The same husband who finds himself needing to leave again. He has to keep her safe before they can finally have the life they are owed. But then she pulls a fast one and takes matters into her own hands. She makes him realize that they can do this thing together. She makes him realize that their love is strong enough to survive. They are an immovable force. But will they be able to stop Fable in time? Will they have their happy ever after? Because he has just started to think about what that could look like with her and he is holding onto that hope for dear life.

This is a devastating love story filled with betrayal for the right and wrong reasons. This is a story about finding the person that means everything to you and how far you would go to save them and then be with them. I loved Alec's arc even though I am still struggling with his actions. I love the happiness that Killian was able to experience. I am glad that Simon was able to meet his grandbaby before he passed. And OMG did I love Silas' side gig as a farmer. I loved watching them fall in love all over again in their new life without fear and danger lurking around every corner. I am SO sad that this series is over BUT at the same time am very excited to see what Ashley has in store for us next!! These books got better and better as I read them :)

Thank you to Ashley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!! I am so happy I was able to be on this journey with you!!

ARE YOU FREAKIN’ KIDDING ME? This was written so flawlessly. This is the fourth and final book in the Stone Riders MC series and this is the definition of going out with a BANG because this is emotional, heartbreaking, raw and beautiful.

This book follows Natty and Silas and I have been wanting to read their love story for so dang long and to finally get it? My gosh. 🥹

I felt so many emotions while reading this. Silas and Natty’s love story is going down as one of my favorites. Silas is my favorite MC in this series, who knew our Roman was such a romantic and so poetic? .. not to mention his dirty mouth. When I say he is unhinged, I mean it.. but rightfully so because Silas would do anything for Natty. He will burn the world to the ground for his Caelum. Silas is broody and intense but has the most soft and tender side for Natty. The chemistry between them was burning off the page, you could feel their need and desire. I so desperately craved Silas and Natty’s HEA, it was so so perfect.

The quotes that I highlighted from this story, my gosh there were so many. Ashley’s dual timelines, the poetic writing, all of it was truly chefs kiss. 🤌🏽 That’s all imma speak on to avoid spoilers. Ashley, you did that, Queen! 🫶🏽

An end of an era, I will miss these characters with my whole heart, I’m crying, bye. 🖤

The prologue to this just about killed me and ensured I would be captivated with the rest of the story. 😭

Natty and Silas were the couple we were waiting for. There was so much intrigue and questions about Natty throughout the earlier books in the series about why she was with the Stone Riders, how she was connected with The Roman, what her deal was. Silas we already knew was straight up dangerous, evil, and deadly. Or was he? I loved seeing the softer side of Silas through Natty’s eyes, particularly towards the end of the book.

I adored the looks into the two main characters throughout their childhood and teen years. They were each other’s safe place and there was so much trust and love between them. Their happily ever after made me all warm and fuzzy.

If you love this series you’re not going to be disappointed here. It has the same flowery language, romantic motorcycle men, spicy times as you’d expect from Ashley Munoz. There were a few things I wasn’t wild about in this wrap up to the series, and they’re all based on my own preferences/ick factor. This one was a little more melodramatic than the other books in the series. Back and forth. Back and forth. Danger danger danger. Explosions, gunfights and more. Beloved club member dies. It was a lot to keep up with, but if you love action packed romance, you won’t be disappointed! Read your trigger warnings. There’s an instance of SA and while it wasn’t glossed over, it wasn’t particularly treated with the seriousness I think it deserved.

I was hoping for more of a look into the sweeping romance we suspected these two had over the years. The past and present timeline was lovely in giving us a good look at that, but after awhile mostly alluded to the fact that Silas just left Natty all the time. She was a very forgiving FMC lol.

All in all, the good definitely outweighed the “meh” for me in this book and I think it wrapped the series up nicely. Laura and Killian remain my favourite couple from this series.

Thank you to Ashley Munoz for an advance copy of this book for review.

3.5 stars (let me explain): things I’m happy about are there were a lot of Silas/Natty interactions because sometimes with these forbidden loves or he needs to leave for her to be safe they’re not together like at all. That being said…Sasha when I catch you. Her doing what she did was so unnecessary like I’m still made and I’m glad Silas never fully forgave her in the end. Overall I liked the book but I wish I had been able to love it.

Silas as a character lived up to my expectations but the story unfortunately fell slightly shorts. Let’s get into why.

(Spoiler alerts now):
1) the kidnapping scenario was fine but the added SA was completely unnecessary because the more I read it felt very out of character for how much Alec had cared about Natty? Like I’m genuinely confused because the more I read I was like WHY did she add in that shower scene and the others during the kidnapping like I’m so mad about it. Then she tried to like redeem him later in the book and I already hated him there was no coming back.
2) the weird love triangle/brother love of Natty was annoying I hate all scenarios of love triangles and like Silas accepting at the end his brother loved Natty and put his Artemis tattoo on his grave? SPAREEEEE MEEEEEE.
3) naming the baby after Alec? Literally fucking spare me that’s all I have to say.
4) Sasha should’ve died instead of Simon idec she was a fucking villain.

“Salve, Caelum.” I’m just at a loss for words right now. 🥺 I need to sit in my feels for a minute before I can even leave a review. For now, what I CAN say is that I will forever love this Stone Riders Series. The entire series deserves ♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️♾️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, as does “Where We Ended.” I’ll be back with a review, but for now, I just need to wallow in my grief surrounding the end of this Stone Riders Era. 💙💚💜🖤

UPDATE: This book… this one right here… my MOST anticipated read of the year. Period. Ashley Muñoz gave Silas and Natty such a beautiful story. We get to experience each characters’ background narrative and it gives so much insight to their appearances in previous books in the series. Both Silas and Natty are survivors and have had to adapt to the ever-changing environment of a motorcycle club. They face so many challenges: gaining and losing family (both biological and chosen), growing up together as they each navigated their individual unhealthy and unstable home lives (CHECK YOUR TRIGGER WARNINGS), coming to terms with their own inner “demons” while simultaneously being each other’s home and “safe place.”

I ADORED Ashley Muñoz use of Latin as a “secret language” for Silas and Natty. It added next-level depth, romanticism to their story. Their conversations were almost poetic in nature.

Silas truly is darkness personified in WWE. Natty is absolutely the epitome of light. At times, I was irritated with Silas’s decisions, but the more I think on it, the more I adore him for them. He LOVED Natty, y’all. No, he more than loved her. He states many times that he couldn’t exist in a world where she wasn’t in it, and I believe that with all my heart. Natty’s unwavering faith in Silas… the things she endured simply because she wanted him to be safe… I just don’t have the words. I can’t find them. My heart feels them, but I can’t express them.

We do get to experience the couples and characters from previous books and we’re able to witness how they grow and develop as Silas and Natty’s story unfolds.

I’m just SICK that this series has come to an end, but I’m so thankful that Ashley Muñoz was willing to share these characters and her talent with us. If you don’t add the whole dang series to your TBR, what are you even doing with yourself?! 💙💚💜🖤

Right from the prologue Ashley pulled me in and didn’t let go the entire time. Even when my vision got blurry through tears, I couldn’t stop. Since we first met Natty, we’ve waited for this moment and wanted to know everything about her and Silas. This gives us all of the answers and more. It’s an incredibly raw, gritty, and heartbreakingly beautiful story about two people who are truely meant to be. But buckle up because in true Ashley style, she takes you on a ride!

This is the fourth and final book in the Stone Riders series and while they are interconnected standalones, I highly recommend reading the previous books (or at least book three) to fully understand and appreciate this story.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁: small town, motorcycle club, foster sibling, possessive hero, touch her and d!e.

The patience, loyalty and forgiveness Natty gave Silas was something else, she’s so incredibly strong and I admired her so much. Parts of her story are so sad, there were moments I just wanted to reach in and hug her.

I adored seeing the softer side of Silas, we had only witnessed the ruthless, feared MC club president but the way he loved Natty was just beautiful. They had known each other most of their lives and had such a complicated story with so much hurt, distance and unfortunate circumstances. All you want is to see them overcome it all and get back to where they belonged, together. These two were the definition of if it’s not you, it’s nobody. I loved their dedication to one another, how they never doubted the other and wholly trusted in their connection.

Only reason this wasn’t a five star read for me was I felt it got a little slow and repetitive in the middle and there were some events that took the enjoyment away a little for me. It started and ended extremely strong and still had me completely consumed.

The epilogues with the different POV’s was the perfect ending to this series and had me all up in my feels. The way it came full circle with where it started was beautiful.

Tropes/Themes:
🖤mf motorcycle club romance
🖤childhood friends to lovers
🖤possessive alpha hero
🖤forced proximity
🖤love triangle (less on her part, more like 2 men vying for her attention)
🖤angsty
🖤small town
🖤dual pov
🖤book #4 in an interconnected standalone series

This series has been pretty lackluster for me as a whole. Natty & Silas have been a highly anticipated couple in this series, so I’m sad to say their romance didn’t quite hit for me. We got frequently flashbacks to their childhood and glimpses into the development of their relationship, but I felt like we didn’t get enough of them in the present day for me to get fully invested in them. I just found the men in this series to be so emotionally immature and demeaning. They have poor emotional regulation skills and do whatever they want in the name of "love", regardless of the implications it has towards their relationship. This book also had a lot of heartbreak/death in this one (sometimes unnecessarily in my opinion). I ultimately rated this 3 stars though because the plot itself was fairly interesting and it was definitely not my least favorite book in the series.

CWs for kidnapping, torture, graphic violence, murder, terminal illness, loss of a loved one, grief/loss, abuse, sexual harassment/violence, and more

'Even in her death, you know he kept her bones under his bed for a time.'

The way this series fell off in the last book is a damn shame and should be studied. Introducing an entire brother who sexually assaults the apparent ~love of the hero's life (who is also his brother's wife)?! I'm so not about that shit. But on top of that, he had to be somehow ~redeemed for some goddamn reason and did the ultimate sacrifice for her so then the heroine has to feel some kinda love towards him because who wouldn't in their right mind, right. Godd. Having a rapey brother-in-law and father-in-law is a tad too much for my liking like fuck off with that shit.

Ugh, everything about this pissed me the hell off especially since their story could have gone in so many ways but it was all overshadowed by some utterly shady shit happening throughout that gave off more mafia than biker club vibes. Natty and Silas deserved so much better and could have matched each other's freak so well but no, inserting another person into their relationship was the way to go here, obvs. Ehhh.

The only good thing to come out of this entire book was Silas getting a property patch LOOL

Where We Ended

I can't believe that the Stone Riders are over! Its been one of my favorite (if not THE favorite) MC series I've ever read.

I was so excited to read about Natty and Silas. They've been so mysterious ever since we've been introduced to the two of them. Their story did not disappoint! It spanned years and dropped so many bombs on us!

I really enjoyed this series and definitely read them in order.

This sadly was a let down for me after loving the rest of this series. One part was honestly a little disturbing to me and it just felt like we moved on as if it wasn’t awful? It also just came together too quickly at the end as if this one person and issue hadn’t been the reason they haven’t been able to live the life together they wanted and boom it’s solved. I still highly recommend the rest of the series and I did like all the parts of this where everyone was together.

This was such a great ending to The Stone Riders MC series but I’m so sad that it’s over! I don’t even know where to begin. I felt all the emotions in this book it was beautiful, heartbreaking, and emotional. I loved getting to really dive into Silas and Natty’s storyline and their backstory! If you love an absolutely obsessed MMC who will do just about anything for the FMC then this is a must read, from start to finish I couldn’t put it down!
