This was so good!

Brianna meets Xavier on a bad night. Now it appears her life is in danger and her father hired him to protect her in a safe house!?

Their forced proximity is a blessing and a curse. They attraction to each other is through the roof but the age difference and his need to protect her, keeps he from giving in to temptation. As the time drags on, it gets harder and harder to keep their distance. As they spend time together, they learn little things about each other, which only makes the attraction grow.

I enjoyed the fast paced book. The characters are relatable, they came to life on the page and their relationship grew as they became more and more real to each other. There's some spice. There are some dangerous situations where as a reader, you're not sure how it will turn out. Very well written and I believe I have found another author to explore the backlog of. Thank you Jessica Long!.

Xavier is Book 5 of the Men of Forbidden Temptation series. It's a steamy, OTT, forced-proximity, instalove, age-gap, opposites-attract, grumpy-sunshine, girl gets her bodyguard romance. Brianna is a 26 year old smart and sassy profiler. Xavier is a 38 year old hunky, grumpy, ex-military man. When he returns home to Scarlett Island, he is immediately drawn to Brianna. She is the mayor's daughter. He learns she is in danger. Who is targeting her and why? When her father hires him to protect her, he takes her to a safe house. As love blooms, can he keep her safe? And what secrets is her Daddy hiding? This book was so good. The chemistry between these two was pure fire. There is a lot of drama, mystery, action, and danger before we finally get a happy ending. I loved it!!.

Brianna was having a chaotic night where nothing was going well. Xavier was called in to rescue her and the sparks ignite between them. He is her bodyguard assigned to protect her but spending time enclosed makes things difficult. Will he be able to keep things professional and Brianna safe? This story had me all caught up in it to see how this age gap romance turns out.

This is the 5th book in this impressive series, and this is Xavier and Brianna’s story.
This is a well written fat paced story which has family, friendships, emotions, angst, danger, suspense, intrigue, mystery, forced proximity, opposites attract, temptation, an age gap, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to a thrilling and steamy addictive page turner.
