Imagine going to meet your mountain BB and have a one night sex session only to have him drop some knowledge that you weren't prepared for or knew how to handle? Well, that's exactly what happened to Dixie after meeting her Book Boyfriend Cord McRay. Only she left that session with a little something extra.
This story by Author Tamrin Banks had my facial expressions changing like scenes from a movie reel. One minute I was smiling, then laughing (if you know, you know), eyes squinting as I reread a few pages (again if you know, you know), shaking my head and rolling my eyes, rolling my eyes again mumbling it's about damn time, to smiling and clapping cause you know that Cord and Dixie finally for their HEA and it was sweet as cherry pie and well deserved. This Book Boyfriend was a very good weekend read. I highly recommend it.

She's worth the wait!
Cord has been waiting forever for his woman, but the second she steps through the door he knows....she may be late, but she is definitely worth it! I love that Cord is all in, completely over the top, I love you forever, lets plan marriage and babies all in. He is exactly what Dixie needs, but doesn't believe she deserves - and that just breaks my heart. She is so sweet, organised, helpful and smart, she deserves the world and Cord is determined to provide it for her! Thankfully Wildwood is just as crazy as Cord and they are more than willing to help him claim his woman.
A fantastic weekend treat - Wildwood and a book boyfriend.... who can ask for more? I loved every crazy and over the top page of this book, sometimes you just need to escape and where better than Wildwood?

Good story - until near the end
I really enjoyed reading this tale about the Book Boyfriend Dating agency, but it just felt too rushed once they reconnected. Rushed and missing a bit about where they settled, how her family reacted, perhaps if she had input/influence on his writing and if his genre or trope changed. The epilogue was there but jumped way ahead and really was almost disconnected. Just disappointing after such an interesting start…

Yes Cord!
I liked Cord but was not thrilled with several things Dixie did. She just did not make sense. I'm glad Cord did what was necessary for his sweet ending.

Whew six baby's.
Cord and Dixie sure know how they wanted to do things, but man six daughters now that's a wonderful thing to happen right of the bat.
