Robin siempre ha querido ser artista, pero cuando comienza a meterse en problemas en la escuela de artes, su padre decide inscribirlo en Saint-Laurent Boarding College para que estudie Negocios. Y sin embargo, hace lo que puede para pertenecer, aunque nunca haya querido ser como su padre y sus hermanos. Así que cuando le llega la invitación para unirse al Club de privilegiados (lugar donde su padre nunca quiso que estuviera), decide aceptarla. Lo que no espera es que la "iniciación" sea tan brutal, y mucho menos sentirse atraído por lo que ofrecen. Pero será capaz de dejar de lado su condicionamiento y aceptar ser parte del grupo? Podrá realmente rendirse ante otro solo para sentir que realmente pertenece?
Aunque el primer libro de la serie me atrapo enseguida, no puedo decir lo mismo de este. El personaje de Robin no se sentía realista, no parecía estar en sincronía con su cuerpo, y, aunque entiendo el conflicto, no se sintió natural su rendición al final después de tanta lucha. Además, el personaje de Arsène no era mas que un chico malcriado, que no terminaba de entender las dudas que tenía su "presa".
Sin embargo, el libro tiene sus momentos, y no solo los eróticos, que te mantienen leyendo y queriendo saber que va a pasar después, así que continuare con la serie, esperando que los próximos libros sean mas interesantes.
Aunque el primer libro de la serie me atrapo enseguida, no puedo decir lo mismo de este. Не судіть, люди добрі. Ці історії як наркотик. Я розумію всі недоліки, але не можу зупинитися.
Це темно, розпусно, місцями моторошно і хворо. Але ця одержимість просто зводить з розуму. Я не шукаю в цих новелах логіку чи здоровий глузд, я просто насолоджуюсь цими нездоровими іграми 😏
Друга історія про Арсена та Робіна сподобалась більше, ніж перша. Все ще не до кінця розумію весь концепт з тим братством та їх полюванням і "одним обраним", але я на шляху до пізнання 😂

I love this concept so much! Four short dark stories that get darker. The fictional world the author created here was exceptional. The way she wrote it all on paper was extraordinary!
“The vile and the primal urge to dominate and control.“sums up the essence of the Alpha Fraternarii.
Robin tried to stay under the radar, he doesn’t like people, only, one day he got a message…
the message.
“The highest bidding family wants you,"
That’s the power of hierarchy. Ha! They even overrule the power of Robin’s family, who never supported him anyway, in anything.
“Good at blocking my feelings, keeping my heart at a respectable distance from everything and everyone.”
Copper Mask is the one who has chosen him as ‘the one’ and he’s the one who will chase him, dang Robin doesn’t feel good, he shouldn’t have taken the pill.
“He’s watching you,” OMG the suspense is killing me!!
Gold, silver, copper and bronze. Copper is superior, he wants to give his prickly, snarky Robin everything, the world at his feet, the opportunity to express his artistic talents, to show the world his real colors!
“These guys run the school. And apparently, their families rule the country.”
The turmoil inside Robin’s head felt so realistic! Facing his hurt is liberating.
It’s all SUPER intense, hornyness dripping from the pages.
A little brotherhood history between their interactions was great.
Ghahhh, the story was super intense, there are details so perfectly described I just felt them in my own body, shudder and gasp!

Maybe, if that’s what you’re looking for instead of a super spicy, hot, fun, MM Romance that has a lot of spiders, MCs that are red flags 🚩, and are morally black then don’t continue reading this review 😅 but GOD I LOVED THESE TWO SO MUCH.
Trapped is Vol 2 of The Wicked Chance Novellas, and takes place in the same world as The Initation Series, within the walls of Monterrey Castle, and the Alpha Fraternarii.
Robin & Arsène have stolen my whole heart & kept it, from now on I will love and protect these grumpy boys with my life. I accept no criticisms.
Robin has been chosen my Arsène for The Wicked Chase, and he doesn’t know how, or why. Robin is used to living in the shadows of his family’s successes, and Arsène has fallen for him, after watching him for over 18 months.
Arsène is OBSESSED, and I mean absolutely OBSESSED with spiders 🕷️ everywhere you turn in this novella, SPIDERS. Spiders in a 🍑 plug? Yep. You heard that right. But Arsène is generous, kind, and genuinely loves to take care of his people, and he plans to do that for Robin.
Please check TWs before reading as some situations might make you uncomfortable. There is no part of this story that is sweet and fluffy, I’ve warned you!
Much like Collared, I just was left wanting more more more of these two, but that’s the point of a novella isn’t it? It leaves you wanting to hear all about their HEA, and what comes next.
You do NOT need to read these books in order, as these are their own short stories, and if you’re looking for a fast paced, dark, sexy, MM Romance good time, then this is the book for you! Lola does NOT disappoint 🖤

This is my honest and voluntary review for the ARC I received.
This is the second story in Lola Malone’s Wicked Chase series. Take a look at the Trigger Warnings before reading this. That said, this story is decadent and dark. Malone’s attention to detail is spot on. She weaves an intricate web of intrigue and passion between both MCs.
Robin is Arsène’s chosen one. Robin is angry over his family. He has a little chip on his shoulder about his status in their presence. Arsène sees his grumpiness and is immediately drawn to him. Arsène is obsessed with Robin, though Robin questions why.
What follows in the Wicked Chase is a showing of immense power. The push and pull is evident. There’s primal play, seduction, an overview of the brotherhood, and submission. Arsène has a special affinity with spiders. This truth is woven throughout the novella. It features heavily in the Wicked Chase as well. Arsène is creative, to say the least.
This story gives you a glimpse into some of the other brothers and leaves you in anticipation for the other dark romance stories in this series. If you are a fan of dark romances set in academia, then this series/author is right up your alley!

I am completely captivated by the world the author has created and I love every moment of it. These novellas are absolutely incredible and intense; I thoroughly enjoy reading them every time.
The story revolves around Copper Mask, also known as Arsène. I found his obsession with Robin, our second character, who is snarky, lonely, and different from his father and brothers, very engaging. Robin feels like a disappointment to his family, but not to worry – he was Arsène's chosen one, and he really brought out Robin's different side and ensnared him in his web.
The primal dynamic in this novella was incredibly engaging, and I enjoyed it a lot. The intense scenes were even more intense, and the use of webs and spiders – oh, I loved that. The author has done a fantastic job with this novella. As the story progressed, it left me yearning for more of them, and I hope we get to see them in other novellas or novels by the author.
Overall, I really enjoyed this novella and am eager to find out who is next, with my fingers crossed for Golden Mask. If you're a fan of dark academia with secret society vibes, this novella is definitely for you. Be sure to check it out.

My criticism from the first book still stands, so I won't repeat it here, but despite the small things that annoyed me, I liked this one a lot better. Arsène was creepy but in a kinda hot way? I can't put my finger on it but I just... really enjoyed his character, you know? And the way he handled Robin's anxiety. Please. Now this is what I'm looking for in a story like this. Like yeah there is the dub-con that's on the edge on non-con (which I don't mind, don't get me wrong, I know exactly what I signed up for) but the way it's handled is absolutely stunning and the writing is brilliant. And I loved loved loved the way Arsène let things take time for Robin, that he let him be scared, but not of what you'd think when you read a book like this, but of the demons inside him, his family, of it all just being one big joke...

Every time we head back to Monterrey Castle, I am utterly mesmerised by the story we get.
Robin and Arsène brought us an absolutely captivating primal story, and I was mesmerised. I loved how Robin fought and fought and then finally submitted to Arsène and the results were dark and sinful, and everything I have come to love about the Alpha Fraternarii.
These books take us on a journey and delve more and more into the secretive world of Alpha Fraternarii, and I am desperate to discover more.
This book was the perfect quick read for lovers of all things dark MM romance, and I can't wait for more wicked chase novellas.
Robin and Arsène brought us an absolutely captivating primal story, and I was mesmerised. I loved how Robin fought and fought and then finally submitted to Arsène and the results were dark and sinful, and everything I have come to love about the Alpha Fraternarii.

This is a spin-off of the Initiation Series but can be read as a standalone. I recommend that you read both the Initiation Series and Collared Book One in this spin-off series for a better reading experience. 🦋 Before reading Trapped, check your cw. This is dark material. I am such a fan of the Initiation Series, so these novellas have been such a treat for me.. Lola has created a multifaceted universe with her Saint-Laurent Boarding College for boys, and the exclusive powerhouse of the Alpha Fraternarii is just one of its many moving parts. A secret one; entry upon an invitation. An invitation to be a Chosen. Provided you can survive the Wicked Chase, of course.
Ars`ene and Robin are a delight apart, but together, they are unhinged. Ars`ene is chilling, yet he makes my toes curl. He's macabre, methodical, and lascivious. Ars`ene is the spider; slithering along in the dark, romanticly pursuing his perfect papillion prey. Robin is an artist. His personality is strong, argumentive, and stubborn.The perfect match for his spider. He has no idea what being Ars`enes papillion is. All of this is confusing to Robin, but he's intrigued, fascinated, scared, but also may just want to be Ars`ene's papillion. Robin isn't a weak mc, and that's what this book needs for its love interest. These two men were so hot together that they burst into flames. Everything about their storyline was epic.
Lola Malone always delivers new characters and worlds that her readers just fall into.Trapped was no exception to that. Honestly, I loved it. I've read all of her books, and Trapped is one of my favorites. My only complaint is that it wasn't a full-length novel. I would love to see more of these two men. I can't wait for the next installment of the series.

This was another quick, HOT and a little disturbing read. And I loved it! I've read it in one sitting. Robin and Arsène are another great and sexy couple. Arsene gave me a new appreciation for spiders..ok, not really. Just the way Arsene makes them sexy.
I said it before but Lola just keeps on adding great stories to this series and I can't wait for the other novella's and the third book.

Lola has done it again.
I thought Collared was intense and sexy but Trapped was even more.
Again, this new novel grabs you from the first moment. Even if you already read Collared and know what is happening in the Wicked Chase, it doesn't matter, because Lola immerses you once again in the adrenaline of the chase while you keep the air in your lungs.
The main characters are hypnotic. I have loved Robin very much. His character as a lonely, marginal, grumpy, art-loving boy has captivated me. But I have to admit that I have a thing for broken boys and Robin has a lot of that. Still, I love how he stands up to Arsène, even though his body reacts very differently. 😅
Arsène and his true obsession with spiders. Really? I found the way of "catching" Robin and all the interwoven metaphors about spiders and their way of acting towards their prey to be most original. Fabulous!
The spicy scenes are really spicy, sexy and very well constructed. I loved all those scenes.

If you like dark romance novels, I assure you that this one will not disappoint you.
You can also read them as a Standalone but I recommend that you read Collared first to fully enjoy this Wicked Chase experience. They are short novels, easy to read and very enjoyable.
Trapped is the second volume of the "Wicked Chase" series and is part of the world of the college for rich kids called Saint Laurent, within the walls of Monterrey Castle and the forests around it, where the Wicked Chases take place.
I'm looking forward to reading the third and finding out which mask we'll encounter and who will be its prey.🖤🖤

Lola lo ha vuelto hacer.
Pensé que Collared fue intenso y sexy pero Trapped ha sido aún mucho más.
De nuevo, esta nueva novela te atrapa desde el primer momento. Incluso si ya leyendo Collared sabes qué está ocurriendo en los Wicked Chase no importa, porque Lola te vuelve a sumergir en la adrenalina de la persecución mientras aguantas el aire. 😅
Los personajes principales son hipnoticos. He amado mucho a Robin. Su carácter de chico solitario, marginal, gruñón y amante del arte me ha cautivado. Pero tengo que reconocer que tengo una cosa por los chicos rotos y Robin tiene mucho de ello.
Aún así me encanta como le planta cara a Arsène, aunque su cuerpo reaccione muy diferente
Arsène y su auténtica obsesión por las arañas. Really? Me pareció de lo más original la manera de "atrapar" a Robin y todas las metáforas entretejidas sobre las arañas y su forma fe actuar ante sus presas. Fabuloso!

Lola has done it again.
I thought Collared was intense and sexy but Trapped was even more.
Again, this new novel grabs you from the first moment. Even if you already read Collared and know what is happening in the Wicked Chase, it doesn't matter, because Lola immerses you once again in the adrenaline of the chase while you keep the air in your lungs.
The main characters are hypnotic. I have loved Robin very much. His character as a lonely, marginal, grumpy, art-loving boy has captivated me. But I have to admit that I have a thing for broken boys and Robin has a lot of that. Still, I love how he stands up to Arsène, even though his body reacts very differently. 😅
Arsène and his true obsession with spiders. Really? I found the way of "catching" Robin and all the interwoven metaphors about spiders and their way of acting towards their prey to be most original. Fabulous!
The spicy scenes are really spicy, sexy and very well constructed. I loved all those scenes.

If you like dark romance novels, I assure you that this one will not disappoint you.
You can also read them as a Standalone but I recommend that you read Collared first to fully enjoy this Wicked Chase experience. They are short novels, easy to read and very enjoyable.
Trapped is the second volume of the "Wicked Chase" series and is part of the world of the college for rich kids called Saint Laurent, within the walls of Monterrey Castle and the forests around it, where the Wicked Chases take place.
I'm looking forward to reading the third and finding out which mask we'll encounter and who will be its prey.🖤🖤

Pensé que Collared fue intenso y sexy pero Trapped ha sido aún mucho más.
De nuevo, esta nueva novela te atrapa desde el primer momento. Incluso si ya leyendo Collared sabes qué está ocurriendo en los Wicked Chase no importa, porque Lola te vuelve a sumergir en la adrenalina de la persecución mientras aguantas el aire. 😅
Los personajes principales son hipnoticos. He amado mucho a Robin. Su carácter de chico solitario, marginal, gruñón y amante del arte me ha cautivado. Pero tengo que reconocer que tengo una cosa por los chicos rotos y Robin tiene mucho de ello.
Aún así me encanta como le planta cara a Arsène, aunque su cuerpo reaccione muy diferente
Arsène y su auténtica obsesión por las arañas. Really? Me pareció de lo más original la manera de "atrapar" a Robin y todas las metáforas entretejidas sobre las arañas y su forma fe actuar ante sus presas. Fabuloso!
Las escenas spicy son realmente picantes, sexies y muy bien construidas.

I love this novella series and the primal play that takes place in each book. Seeing how different couples react to one another and being caught within the Wicked Chase. Fair warning this installment centers around spiders and how they hunt their prey. One of the MMCs is obsessed with arachnids and even has pet spiders.
Robin hates money and the titles that come with being from a wealthy family. It has messed up his life and controlled his decisions and future. He wants to be a carefree artist like his mother, but Robin also can't stand the disappointment in his father and brothers' eyes. He wishes to be free but how can he go about doing that?
Arsène can't keep his eyes off Robin and the time to act has finally come. He's chosen Robin for himself, and he won't allow anyone else to have him! But first he needs to help Robin spread those "fluttering wings". He can be patient and knows Robin will be well worth the wait.
For me personally this wasn't my favorite out of the novellas so far. I felt like the dynamic between the two was a little flat. I didn't get the suspense and anticipation I did with the first installment. I loved Arsène and his fascination with arachnids and the detailing behind why he loved them. Robin for me felt a little whiny and I couldn't fully vibe with his character. Something that threw my nerdy brain out of the read is that arachnids aren't insects, they have too many legs to be categorized as insects amongst other things.
This book does contain language. Lola writes dark romance reads so be mindful of the CWs! This one specifically deals with drugs being ingested to make things more fun and loose. Fear and anxiety along with the effects of the drugs used is depicted through first person POV. We have dual POVs to understand the differences of power plays going on.
We do have fun MM action involving bondage along with the main primal chase. There's a brief scene of MMM, but only kissing and watching. Hints that the main couple from this book may share with another couple in the future. Praise, Virgin MMC, and more.
The novellas don't need to be read in order since there's recaps of why the Chase is happening and what the rules are. Each erotica featuring a new couple with an HEA. We do get more insight with this installment if you started with "Collared". I will be continuing to read this series and more because I do love Lola's books and writing.

Trapped is a MM romance and the second novella in the wicked chase Robin and Arséne

“For the sweetest of seconds, time passes at the slowest possible pace, and with mouth agape I watch as Robin’s hands and feet get stuck to the thread as he topples right into my trap. I watch him fight, his delirious state causing his visions to play tricks on him as he swears and yanks in an attempt to free himself. The more he jerks, the tighter the material will stick against his clothes and bare flesh.”
Wow this was a journey even though it’s a short book you still get so much from just those chapters and you really get the inside look of Arséne’s fascination with Robin and obsession with spiders I mean there was so many references to spiders and the way Robin was trapped in his webs
Even though I have already red collard and knows what the wicked chase is about it was still so exciting and accelerating almost like I was experience it myself
From the moment we meet Robin, you can almost feel that he needs someone to control him. Someone who can control his anger and vengeance, someone who can own him someone he can submit himself to and Arséne is just that guy he knows exactly what Robin wants without saying anything and even though Robin refuses to believe that he himself could ever be attracted to such “violent ways”, it comes together in the end
“I love using my teeth. Blood seeping into my mouth. My tongue dragging softly over the broken flesh, sealing the wound with a kiss.”
Arséne has a sick and twisted mind and I’m all here for it even though as describes he is a very gentle and endearing lover. He also has some extreme kinks that I’m sure Robin enjoys very much even though he doesn’t want to show it.
Robin is so full of anger, I hate his family for the way he’s been treated and the thoughts they put in his head
The spice in this book blew me off my couch Lola knows exactly what she’s doing and she’s killing it. The chemistry is on point even through Robin defiance everything comes out magnificent in the end.
I really feel like this time in the wicked chase the fear it’s much more prominent and I must say that it’s what I needed it’s so dark yet exciting if you’re looking for a dark short romance this may very well be for you

Let me start this review by saying spiders give me the creeps. Never been a fan of them. Especially when one falls in front of my face. With that being said, somehow Lola made spiders mysterious, possessive, and sexy…*cough* spider 🍑 plug *cough*
Arsène de Noailles - outside of the two masks we haven’t met yet (their novellas coming soon), this guy has one of the more unique ways when it comes to capturing his prey…yup you guessed it, human-sized spider web. He’s OBSESSED with spiders, like think about how many books you have on your shelf and replace that with spiders. He’s been watching Robin for about 18 months and patiently waiting for his turn to invite and capture his prey during the Wicked Chase. But, there’s also a soft side to Arsène that provides, protects, and comforts Robin unlike anyone else has in his life. I honestly wanted more of Arsène just because his mind is so different, but also super sweet.
Robin Pinault - he’s angry, shy, and can’t stand the elite. His family has made him feel unworthy and treats him like an outsider because he would rather paint than follow in their footsteps. He’s never truly had sense of belonging, but that all changes when Arsène traps him in his web.
I was looking forward to the spider guy after reading “Collared,” and enjoyed this read. Lola has a way of creating such unique characters…I mean, she made spider talk sexy sooo. Like I said, I’m not a fan of spiders, but this book was a fun read and I can’t wait for the next mask!
If you love the world of The Initiation Series featuring the Alpha Fraternarii Brotherhood where anything happens, and I do mean anything, then you’ll definitely love these novellas about the Wicked Chase. “Trapped” may be a novella, but it’s filled with suspense, spice, spiders, and sweetness. If you’re not familiar with this world, I would recommend checking out the triggers before reading.

These short books are set at the Saint-Laurent Boarding College for boys, a college set around a castle surrounded by Monterrey woods. A secret society, the Alpha Fraternarii, composed of the sons of wealthy powerful families is a part of the college. One event held is a Chase where certain members of the society choose another student at the college to “win” a chance to join the elite group and gain wealth and influence. All they need to do is be chosen, accept the invitation and sign the NDA, then take their chance being hunted in the woods by the one who chose them. If they survive without being caught (or last one standing), they go through an initiation and join the Brotherhood.
Robin is one of those chosen. He is from a wealthy family but is the odd man out, looked down on by his father and brothers, wanting nothing more than to left alone with his art. He is a loner, hating this school and the “elite” students who run it, and has no idea why someone would choose him for this.
Arsene is one of the elite, and he has chosen Robin. Arsene is arrogant, focused, dominating, and fascinated by spiders. His focus on Robin has been a longtime obsession, culminating in an ingenious plan to trap Robin during the Chase, one inspired by his little pets.
This is a very dark book, as are the others in the series, with the desires of the elite taking precedence over that of their prey for the Chase and after during the initiation, if one is the chosen “winner”. Fear, pain, dub-con, and mind-altering substances are used without thought for the chosen one, as long as the desires of the Brother are met. Checking the triggers ahead of reading is a must. All of that being said, the book is a fascinating window into the personalities, desires, and needs of the two MC in each book. Short but engaging reads.

Omg!!!! I love Robin! He hates everything that comes with old family money and wants nothing more than to be an artist and have the opportunity to live. Unfortunately, that dream is paused as his father sends him to Saint Laurent Boarding college for boys. Where he grabs the attention of one of the elite students, Arsène.
I freaking love Arsène! Any man that loves a bratty, grumpy man and is in thralled with him, he has my heart lol I love that he is so fascinated by Robin. The moment he laid eyes on Robin, he had one goal. To trap him. OMG does he trap him in the most delicious way! These two together are so hot together that my complaint is that it wasn’t long enough. I definitely wanted more of them!

Arsène and Robin, what a couple! This book is one where you defs need to take heed of the TW! There is drug use that can make everything seem Non-con, which in a sense it is? Robin does enjoy everything, he's just reluctant, stubborn, and embarrassed to admit it. The spider imagery is so cool and honestly one of my fave parts about this. Arsène is giving chemistry Nerd 😂 Thurel and Mäel form Book 1 have me in a chokehold but I defintiely enjoyed this one!
I enjoyed Robins character. He's a prickly one, but you can see why that is. I liked how he wants to be an artist and be more like his mother instead of his father.
Arsène is kinda the same as the other MCs in Lolas books in this series. He's rich, he's elite, he conceited and just takes what he wants.
That's probably my only real criticism. one half of the couple is getting a bit "same face syndrome" in these books. But overall a good second book in The Wicked Chase series! I can't wait to see how the final 2 books will go 😍

These novella’s are going to be the end of me! I am addicted and in love. I usually have a harder time reading MM Romances but the way Lola makes these characters interact and still have the same life problems changes my aspect of this all. Don’t get me wrong I love my usual spicy romance but there is just something great and sweet about a quick MM Novella. And since I already love the Monterrey world it was a given, that I would like this one. I do have to say since I really like the first couple and now Arsène and Robin, I am scared of the next couple. Arsène and Robin kind of share something even more special with Robin finally speaking his truth about how he feels about his family and even though he is rich he still feels very little. Arsène seems like the strong character Robin needs and that is proven with every scene in this book. Of course, we can not forget about the chase because damn the tensions are running high again!

Me gusto bastante esta historia. Hay veces en las que lo que necesitas son este tipo de libros: cortos, calientes, emocionantes, oscuros y con personajes obsesivos. Es decir, un dulce bocado.
Disfrute de la cacería, toda la trampa en el bosque fue espectacular, son cosas que no había leído antes. Definitivamente se llevó el tema de las arañas a otro nivel.
No fui fan de las pastillas (no diré mucho mas) pero para ser justos, estaba en la advertencia al principio del libro. Y me hubiera gustado que no se dejara la puerta abierta a terceros futuros en la dinámica. No tengo ningún problema normalmente pero simplemente no iba con la mentalidad de que en este libro pasaría. Sin embargo, estos son mis preferencias personales hablando por lo que no afecta la nota que le doy a este libro.
En definitiva lo recomiendo y espero que la siguiente historia sea con el enmascarado del caballo. Agradezco a la autora por esta obra.

Robin it’s not like his family. He doesn’t want to be whatever they want him to be. He does have family issues. Arsene is an elite from one of the richest families. He gets what he wants and that is Robin. I like how he saw Robin and just knew he should be his. I also like how he is fascinated by spiders in the set a trap the web for Robin. I also like the fact that he comforts Robin and reinsurance, and that he will be fine after the wicked games. And what I like about Robin’s character is after everything that happened he can finally be free to be himself. And also after the wicked games, he gets what he wants in his life. The spice was good from the spiderweb scene to the altar. The two together are great because you have a grumpy snappy Robin and the outgoing and social light Arsene. I love the nickname that Arsene gives Robin. I can’t wait to see what else is written next in the wicked game series.

Robin was chosen, he wanted to prove his dad and brothers wrong when he was chosen. Though he isn't sure why he was chosen or by who, that's part of the mystery that Robin wants to chase. He wants to be chosen, needed and wanted. This sweet butterfly wasn't expecting to be trapped in a spiders web though, even if he knew he what he signed up for he didn't expect to become trapped.
Arsène is determined to give Robin everything he wants, even if Robin doesn't know what he wants until he's trapped in the spider's web and a little out of his mind. Arsène will give him the freedom he wants, even if it means Robin will become his and he won't ever let go.
Do read the triggers in the book, because there are things that can be triggering for some people. The book also contains spiders, so if that's a fear of yours just be careful. It's only mentioned a little and not in too much detail.

This is the second in the novella series that is in the Alpha Fraternarri world. In this, we meet Robin, a lonely yet sassy and defiant man. He has struggles with his family, his dad and brothers specifically. He was pulled from his art school and sent to Saint Laurent. His family didn't want him to be a chosen one. He accepts the invitation in part to prove a point to them. Arsene is the brother who has made Robin his chosen. Arsene has a fascination with spiders. The chase in this one was super hot, and eventually Robin gets ensnared in a web of sorts. Their spice was great! This one did seem a bit darker to me, specifically with the use of non consensual drug use, so please heed the trigger warnings. I absolutely love this world!

Book#2 in this series and I loved it just as much as the first one!
Arsene has been watching Robin during their classes together and while he's around school without Arsene knowing and has noticed that Robin was always snippy, rude and had a forever attitude. Robin has, of course noticed Arsene as being one of the rich, snobby students that could practically get away with anything due to having rich parents who contribute a lot to the school.
When Arsene traps Robin in his web, all bets are off as Robin FINALLY has someone to take care of him, even if he doesn't fully understand why Arsene would even want to.

I love these novellas so much! So happy that with these we're able to get a better understanding of the story, the world they're in.
And Robin and Arsène were definitely something else, in the best of ways. Arsène is OBSESSED with spiders. I'm not personally scared of spiders so I didn't mind and plus it's something I haven't read before so it was very fun.
This novella was super spicy, fun and H.O.T. And even though it is a novella and fast paced I loved all the emotions, the suspense.
These books will take you on a f*ing journey that you will not want to return from and I am ABSOLUTELY here for it! Can't wait for the next book!

Yup this was so much better then the first one not gonna lie was the spice very much one of the main plots here yes yes it was but was their a little hint of story yes and I ate it up in one sitting ngl arsene was kinda hot and I honestly think this could of been a full length novel and I wouldn’t of been mad I can’t rate it higher then a 3.5 because it ended like so abruptly like I said this fully could been a full length novel robins background alone could of been delved into this is making me want to read more by this author though because the writing style did have me hooked onto book 3
