In "Words of a Weary Heart" the young and talented poet, Emilia Bochniarz, shares her honest thoughts describing struggles any girl coming-of-age can relate to: anxieties, insecurities, disappointment, unrequited love, friendships drifting apart, searching for a place to call home, fear of missing out and of not fulfilling certain beauty standards this world imposes on women, and many more. I recommend it to teenagers and adults alike, to enjoy individually with a cup of tea/coffee on a lazy morning or - even better - with a group of friends, family members or a significant other! I can just imagine what great conversations starters these poems could be. So raw, touching, straightforward and honest, they invite the readers to share their own understanding of these sensitive topics, which in turn builds bonds of trust and strengthens relationships. Maybe this is the perfect gift you've been looking for to get your mom, dad or child for the upcoming family festivities celebrated all around the globe at this time of the year?

I loved this book! It touched a difficult subject of mental health and is full of emotions. My favourite poems were 'knit' ,'eviction notice' and 'ugly scarf'. The end is surprising! I definitely recommend, it's so real. Makes you wanna cry sometimes but also has an uplifting note.
