The scientific study of race and intelligence has been polluted by harmful ideologies, particularly racism and eugenics. Yet, as I try to point out in this essay, these really are scientific issues, and they are quite important. Somehow we need to find away to clear away all the nonsense and bigotry in order to really study intelligence, well, intelligently.
