A coming of age story about self-discovery and independence from the Queen of Tween, Jean Ure. ‘I’ve always been the quiet one in my dramatic family. Not a drama queen, or a genius composer, or a twin, but Just Peachy. Mum says I’ve got my own thing going on… I just wish I knew what that was! When I decide I want to attend Sacred Heart school rather than Summerville where my family have always gone everyone finally stops to listen! Stepping out on my own is scary, but I need space to find out who I am and what I’m good at.’ A new novel from Jean Ure, about a girl trying to find who she really is – and maybe a friend along the way…

3.5 Tak szczerze to średnio rozumiem. Jakby, o co chodzi w tym zakończeniu. Oczekiwałam jakiegoś czegoś ale tu nie było nic. Znaczy, podobało mi się ale tak na przeciętnym poziomie. I dužo cytatów. To fajne. Ale chyba zbyt błahe tematy na moje ówczesne życie. Zabrzmiało jakbym conajmniej miała firmę I rodzinę na utrzymaniu. Nie. Po prostu nie mam 10 lat.
I loved this book so much.It was so nice to just get cosy and read this in two sittings.I loved Peachy and Millie's friendship. It reminds me of my own friends. To be honest I didn't like Charlie. She always forgets where here stuff is.Goes out of my mouth!Lol.And she was such a show off.AND it must have hurt when she wacked Peachy with the hockey stick. I really enjoyed this book I liked how peachy always could turn to gran her and Millie's friendship was very cute and every friendship has a fallout now and then !!
I found this as a free audiobook on ibooks and was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to follow. Jilly Bond’s narration is lovely and she really gives life to the characters.
