Boyfriend Material #1-4

The Boyfriend Material Collection

Rate this book
Four fabulous friends. Four outrageous proposals. Four chances at love in this sexy rom-com series! For the first time ever in one collection, you can indulge in an office romance, a friends to lovers romance, a second chance romance, and an enemies to lovers romance!

ASKING FOR A FRIEND: I was only trying to help a friend who was finally ready to date again. I knew what she wanted in a man — smart, funny, ambitious, well-read, and plays a wicked game of badminton. So I posted a profile for her. It seemed like a good idea at the time — I’d weed through the candidates, and bring her my top picks. But then he responded. Is it wrong to date the guy I screened for my bestie? Not asking for a friend.

SEX AND OTHER SHINY OBJECTS: I’ve been curious about a few things I’ve read in romance novels. Do buttons truly go flying across the floor when you rip off a guy’s shirt? Is staircase sex hella hot or does it leave you with a big old bruise mark on your back? And don’t even get me started on all that panty shredding. My best guy friend volunteers to test the scene. We have a plan to keep it PG and but once the buttons start flying, all bets are off…

ONE NIGHT STAND-IN: My ex is the last person I want to spend 24 hours with, let alone two minutes. We didn’t just break up – we combusted. Nothing will change that. Not his clever wit, not his ridiculous good looks, and definitely not a wild dash through the city that takes us on an accidental scavenger hunt through our past, giving us a chance to say we’re sorry. But, it’s not like you can fall in love again in 24 hours. Or can you?

OVERNIGHT SERVICE: Top three reasons why sleeping with the enemy is a bad idea... 1. She’s my fiercest rival. 2. She’s also my fiery ex. 3. We’re going up against each other in a stiff competition to win the hottest new client on the market. In the race to nab the client, I run into Haven in the hotel, on the beach, in the guest quarters late at night. Hate s-e-x would be a terrible idea. Except, it’s the complete opposite, and now we can’t keep our hands off each other. But I’m not so sure it’s hate I’m feeling. Trouble is my job literally depends on never letting her into my heart.

♥️ ASKING FOR A FRIEND

Asking for a Friend is the first book in the Boyfriend Material series by one of my all-time favorite authors, Lauren Blakely. It might be a new series but in true Lauren fashion...there are connections! Amy Summers. A Summers! And there was a tease to her story in Overnight Service. And it’s here! So exciting!

Amy is a Junior Editor who wants that promotion. The one just announced. The one she has been waiting for. The one she deserves. She is tired of reading the bottom of the barrel books. She knows she can kick ass when it comes to words. Her favorite book is a thesaurus after-all. She just has to keep her head in the game. To sell herself. To stay away from distractions. Like the one who just walked into her office. The one who looks like Clark Kent. The one who knows how to get to the leftover cake in the break room before anyone else. And you know how important cake is to a girl. She was screwed.

Linc is new to New York. He flew across the country for a fresh start. And his number one rule: No Office Romances. He’s been there and done that and he didn’t even get a t-shirt. So when he meets Amy on his first day at his new job he knows she is trouble. She is too funny, too smart, and too beautiful and that’s exactly why he can’t want her. So, what is a guy to do? Oh...get online and find another woman! Yep. And it doesn’t take long until he finds one to banter with. One to check all his boxes and he doesn’t even know what she looks like. Is he still thinking about Amy? Of course he is!

These two!! I adore them. Two banter-loving sexy nerds who know books are always better than the movie. Two sexy singles who weren’t looking for their happily ever after. Two cartoon-loving people who just want to find Mexican food in New York. But for real, Amy is smart, sassy, and badassy and I might just have a girl crush on her. She even teaches Hulu Hoop! I have done the classes and hoop on the daily. And Linc is swoony, smart, and funny. Together, their banter is full of flirt, fun, and bookish!

Quotes:

Though I bet he’d be good in the sack. Brainy guys often are.

Amy Summers is just so damn sexy-cute in all the ways that count, and she’s nearly irresistible.

She tastes like candy and sex. Like desire and need. And I need more.

♥️ SEX AND OTHER SHINY OBJECTS

Sex and Other Shiny Objects is the second book in the Boyfriend Material series and Lauren’s next romantic comedy. You can read it as a standalone but I highly recommend reading Asking for a Friend. It’s so good!! And it’s where I first met Peyton as Amy’s bestie, and Tristan as the delicious restaurant owner and friend to both ladies. It was definitely a tease to what was up next for these two!

Tristan and Peyton have been the best of friends since they met freshman year in college. And in all the years they have only been friends they have only crossed the line once. It happened ten years ago with one passionate kiss that neither of them would ever forget but never acknowledge. It wasn’t the time then and it wasn’t the time now. Tristan is Peyton’s best guy friend and the only man besides her father who she could trust. And Peyton is too important to Tristan to go there. They both have their reasons and they are good ones but...

Peyton volunteers as tribute for a project that her friend Amy needs help with. One that would benefit them both in business. It would help Amy with research for a book and Peyton with her lingerie boutique and blog. To practice tropes in romance books! She just needed a willing partner and why not her best guy friend? It’s only five little tests. It’s not like they would actually be naked. It’s not like it would turn into more, right? They could resist temptation. Their friends might say there is something between them but no, neither of them have said a word about it. They could do this, right?

Come on!! They can do the research but you know they can’t keep their hands off each other! Red lace, chocolate, popcorn, and sexual tension is a recipe for so naughty nights. Ladies! Get on the lingerie that makes you feel sexy and read this book!! Then take a nice bath. Then maybe pounce on your partner, if you don’t have one, pounce on yourself!

Damn...Lauren’s books always make me happy! They make me smile, swoon, and get all hot and bothered. They are always so much fun with a twist of naughty and full of love. I can’t wait for Lola’s story, I do love a good second chance romance.

P.S. I always get giddy when I see my name in a book ♥️

Quotes:

“I need to do something that stands out. Like what you do with your videos.”
He gives me a wry leer. “You could post fifteen seconds of you trying on lingerie.”
I grab my napkin, ball it up, and toss it at him. “Smart-ass.”

“Do you have any idea how gorgeous you look? How beautiful you are? You’re so fucking stunning in every way, but especially like this.”

Peyton: Also, it turns out that not only does the hero in this book like to shred panties . . . he likes to shred them with his teeth.
I trip.
My phone flies out of my hand and skids across the concrete landing as I fall on the staircase, tumbling over my own feet.

♥️ ONE NIGHT STAND-IN

One Night Stand-In is the third fabulous book in Lauren Blakely’s Boyfriend Material series. I have been loving this series and have been so excited for Lola’s story and it was so worth the wait. I just love her! And in Lauren fashion, she gave us a little tease at the end of Sex and Other Shiny Objects.

They were given forty-eight hours but they could only spare twenty-four. Twenty-four hours. They had twenty-four hours for this crazy-ass scavenger hunt to get their siblings’ most important things back and since they have a hard time saying no, it’s on. Except when they both said yes they didn’t know they would be doing this together. Two almost exes. Lola and Lucas have history. A friendship that was almost more. Five words changed it all and in turn they became frenemies and competitors in business for ten years. And now, they had to work together for the next twenty-four hours with clues from her sister, Luna and his brother, Rowan’s gleefully pissed off landlord. It was only twenty-four hours, I mean really, how much could happen?

So much!! So, so much! It’s twenty-four hours of fun banter, flirty looks, food, llama drama, and sexiness!! Can two ex-friends became friends again? Maybe even have a second chance at more? These two have some ground to cover in the city and in their lives. Will they make it on time?

Aw!! I loved every single minute. It’s a unique ride of flirt, heat, wit, and down-right fun. And of course it has connections to other books, those Easter eggs of past and future she gives us is the best ever.

Quotes:

“I think something nice and snug would do the trick on a white . . . hot . . . date.”
His jaw ticks. His lips are a ruler. “I hear overalls are hip.” It sounds like he drank battery acid.

I whisper, “I still remember how your lips taste.”
“How do they taste?”
“Incredible,” I say, as a rumble works its way up my chest. “So fucking incredible. But I keep wondering . . .”

He glances down at his erection, which shows no sign of abating. “Yes, she’s totally frustrating. I know. Trust me, buddy, I know.” Laughing, I tug him by the hand.

♥️ OVERNIGHT SERVICE

Overnight Service is the fourth book in the Always Satisfied series by the ever-talented, Lauren Blakely. You can read it as a standalone but I do recommend reading the series since it’s so much fun and sexy with strong characters. If you have read the series then you have met these two already.

Two sports agents. Two competitors. And for two weeks a year ago they had a fling. A hot fling neither of them have forgotten especially when they are in the same room together. Except, they need to keep their hands and every other body part to themselves to keep their heads in the game. Over the last year the competition has been fierce. And it’s about to go up a notch with a bet. Who will land the next rising star?

Josh knew he had to stay away from her. Haven drove him crazy with her sharp tongue and her skirts with zippers on the outside. He hated the way she affected him. At the same time he wanted to put her up against the wall and fuck it out. Fuck out the tension he felt every time she was near him. The solution was to avoid her except the fates had other plans. She was suddenly everywhere. This woman was going to bring him to his knees if he didn’t stay in the game. He was so fucked and knew it.

Why did he have to look so hot even when he wore something ridiculous? This was Haven’s first thought. Her second thought? Why did she make the bet? Oh, she knew why...she wanted to kick his ass. It was the only way to keep her head on straight. Or so she thought. His cockiness and his cock drove her insane with want. She knew exactly how good he was at giving her one of her favorite things...orgasms. And it’s been awhile. Could she keep her hate/lust separate from her business? She had more to prove as a woman in a man’s world.

Damn!! I loved this one. I know I say that for every Lauren book but it’s always the truth. She had never disappointed me with her words. Ever. Josh and Haven’s banter was amazing!!! Flirty, funny, sexy, smart, and witty. I just knew when they would see each other it was about to be everything. And the cameos!! It’s one of my favorite things. It’s like a hidden little treasure to find. An Easter egg. If you didn’t read The Engagement Gift yet, you will want to now. I highly recommend it...it’s hot AF. Anyway, I loved every minute of this book. I have had it on my kindle teasing me for a month which is the longest a Blakely Man has teased me. So glad I finally got to it. And now I am off to read Special Delivery!

Quotes:

“I don’t play dirty ball during the day, and you know it.” I move closer to her, dropping my voice to a husky whisper. “I only play that at night.”

“You can make me come as many times as you want, but I won’t say your name.”
“We’ll see about that.”
“I guess we will.”

I’m drunk on her pleasure, intoxicated from her bliss. My mind is a white-hot haze, and all I want is more. More Haven, more sex, more her.

I really enjoyed the first three of these, super sweet and spicy, the perfect snack! The fourth was also good, but seemed very different, didn't feel like it belonged in the collection.

~ Asking for a Friend #1
4.5 Dishy Stars!
There is so much to love about this first book in Blakely's new Boyfriend Material series! It is hilarious, hot & steamy and a new sexy nerdy hero that you can't help but fall in love with. Amy Summers is a book loving, junior editor, who wants to help create great literature. When she meets a new sexy, coworker who is a Clark Kent lookalike, the sparks really fly. But neither wants the entanglement dating a coworker would create. Amy isn't looking for love, and wants to help her friend, Peyton, by building a profile for her on a dating site. Swoony senior editor, Linc Silvers, can't help flirting with Amy, so to help him find someone outside of work, he coincidentally decides to build a profile on the Boyfriend Material dating app as well. He soon discovers the perfect match and wishes it could be the smart, funny, Amy. Amy is trying to help her friend but can't help finding a super'man' for herself. I loved Amy and Linc so much. They are so perfect together with their quick banter, love of books, and explosive chemistry that was made even more dishy by Andi Arndt, and Jason Clarke's amazing performances, along with special guest appearances by Zachary Webber and Erin Mallon. I also enjoyed catching up with past friends and family, and meeting new friends as well. That's why I really enjoy these multicast audiobooks, because they have an easy way of making you feel like you are included with these awesome friends. Each character has their own distinct voice and was performed flawlessly. I loved this clever, fun & flirty romance brought to life by Arndt, Clarke, and the rest of this amazing cast. This is a great start to Blakely's new Boyfriend Material series. I can't wait for Peyton and Tristan's story next, and if you stay tuned you will get a sneak peek!

~ Sex and Other Shiny Objects #2
What a fun, engaging, and super steamy friends to lovers romance! Peyton and Tristan have been friends since college and have seen each other thru all their ups and downs. They came from totally different worlds but connected from the start. They had a very passionate moment back then, but it was over way too soon. They remained good friends, but never forgot the sparks that simmered below the surface. Now years later, Peyton is helping a friend and herself by blogging about the reality of those sexy scenes we all love to read about in romance novels. Peyton needs someone she can trust to rip each others clothes off and Tristan is more than willing to be that man. The different sexy scenes they work through can be awkward and tricky, but they work through them together, having fun, laughing, and fighting the passion they both are afraid to give in to. I loved the progression of the scenes, the clever blog posts, and especially their self discovery from the fears that hold them back. Peyton and Tristan are so perfect together, supporting each other and their chemistry and passion is off the charts, when they finally give in to their desires. Their friends and family add so much wisdom, support and hilarity, making this story even more fun and heartfelt. The special bond, and scenes between Tristan and his brother, Barrett, were especially touching. Andi Arndt, and Jason Clarke give amazing performances, along with special guest appearances by Julia Whelan, Joe Arden, and Erin Mallon. Arndt really embodies the upbeat, friendly and caring Peyton, while Clarke is simply magic as the serious, sweet, and supportive Tristan, making me totally swoon over him! Lauren continues to create hilarious, heartwarming, and hot and sexy romances that capture my heart!

~ One Night Stand-In #3
4.5 It Takes Two To Tango Stars!
I loved this electrifying, and sexy, enemies to lovers, second chance romance! This unique and intriguing story captured me right from page one and never let go. Lucas and Lola share not only a heartbreaking past, they also share younger siblings who are madly in love with each other! Lucas and Lola both feel responsible for them, and get roped into helping them recover their property after a quirky landlord hides it all. Lucas and Lola were college best friends who shared a hot passionate moment. They made plans to take their relationship further the next day, only to have unforeseen events get in the way. Neither handled the heartbreaking disappointment well, and they soon became rival enemies. Now years later, they are still rivals, but they reluctantly agree to work together on a scavenger hunt to recover their siblings prized possessions. I loved watching them work together so skillfully, playing off each others strengths. The longer they worked together, the more they remembered what drew them to each other in the first place. They soon realize that they are not bound by youth and pride any longer and can own up to their true feelings. This story was so much fun, and I loved the thrill of trying to figure out the clues which kept me totally engaged from start to finish. The banter between Lucas and Lola is fun and flirty and their chemistry is explosive! A favorite part for me is that Blakely always loves to give us fun pov's and epilogues with great twists that make me very happy!
Andi Arndt, and Jason Clarke give amazing performances, along with special guest appearances by Sebastian York, Zachary Webber, Shane East, and Erin Mallon. All of these very talented narrators can easily voice different characters, but I love these multi cast performances with each character having their own distinct voice. I feel like I'm right there among all my friends, making it even more fun, and engaging.

Keep listening at the end for the fun bonus of 'Your French Kisses', the closing novella in the Boyfriend Material series. This is about Reed, Lucas' friend and business partner, and Marley, the woman who captured his heart, one magical afternoon, three years ago in Paris. Shane East and Erin Mallon narrate this truly romantic tale of two people who are absolutely destined to be together! They really did an amazing job of capturing the magic of this enchanting romance!

~ Overnight Service #4
I loved this new enemies-to-lovers rom-com! Josh and Haven were colleagues who had a brief and very passionate affair. After a misunderstanding, Haven leaves heartbroken to start her own business. After a year of competing from afar, Josh & Haven reconnect only to challenge each other to a competition. Neither wants to lose and the way they are constantly put in close proximity makes the sparks that once were, fire up hotter than ever. Their antagonistic banter is their foreplay and their chemistry turns explosive. But Haven is still hurt and she knows she needs to be strong and not fall into old patterns to protect her heart and her reputation. I love how honorable Josh was, and so willing to be the first to open up and try to reconcile, it is so refreshing and swoony. Haven is smart and perceptive, I liked how she knew how to capitalize on her strengths with such dignity. I really enjoyed this sweet and steamy, second chance romance along with all the fun, witty banter that was performed flawlessly by this wonderful cast of narrators! They were all so perfectly cast, especially having Jason Clarke, and Emma Wilder playing the leads beautifully. All the players were so unique and expressive that I was never confused on which character was speaking. They easily made these authentic characters and this hilarious and sexy romance come to life and captured my heart.

***Bonus story!***
The Engagement Gift
Wow, this stand alone erotic novella by Lauren Blakely is so HOT and steamy, but a beautiful love story at it's core! I loved how devoted, faithful, and in love, Lily and Finn are. They are so passionate, trusting, and adventurous. Lily and Finn both had their difficult pasts and never thought they would be open to love again. Now they have found a best friend and lover in each other and want nothing more than to make each other happy. This story has Blakely's signature witty banter, and great friends, who I can't wait to learn more about, but this is an all new level of sexiness, and I loved it! The chemistry between Elena Wolfe & Teddy Hamilton as they portrayed Lily & Finn was off the charts explosive and pure perfection! I can't wait for more of Blakely's deliciously daring and dirty 'After Dark' romances!

Asking for a Friend
I really, really enjoyed Linc and Amy’s tale. A couple of editors walk into a bar... I absolutely loved everything about this book. Linc moves from LA to New York for a fresh start—his story to tell—and is immediately drawn to the cutie in the break room he meets his first day at work. Amy’s focused on getting a promotion, so the last thing she needs is to worry about an office romance. Linc is focusing on his job, as well, but there’s just something so captivating about Amy.
I fell in love with Linc’s heart. He does have baggage, but he’s a man who knows his heart, and is just trying to protect it. Amy’s got the same going on with her. They’re just so good together sharing their love of books, audiobooks, all things dishy, and words in general. Two awesome people that deserve that epic love affair...and you know how Lauren weaves that magical journey.
I loved all the girl power throughout this book. So inspiring.
Keep your eyes and/or ears out for Baldwin, Linc’s colleague at the office. He’s a hoot, and I fell for him when I first heard him speak.
I listened to the audiobook, and holy hot books! The narration is top-notch, as usual. Jason, Andi, Zachary, Erin; it’s a party!

Sex and Other Shiny Objects
Oh, Tristan! I’m in love with Peyton’s best guy friend. He’s the full package: successful business owner, bearded beauty, great big brother, selfless friend. When Peyton asks him to help her research sexy scenes popular in romance novels, he’s all in. They shared a hot, passionate kiss several years prior, but it wasn’t their time. This research project could be just the push they need.
The experiments were smoking hot. Tristan and Peyton are great friends, their chemistry is off the charts, and they laugh so much together. To me, that’s a very sexy thing between couples. Both of them have their baggage, but it’s not a secret to either of them. I love when friends discover what they’ve been looking for has always been right in front of them.
This story has the feels; a beautiful journey between two childhood friends. Lauren’s friends/best friends to lovers stories are some of my favorite. The supporting cast is wonderful. Jason Clarke and Andi Arndt make a great narrating team. There are a few special guests, but I won’t spoil it.
This Boyfriend Material series is addictive, and I can’t wait for the next book!

One Night Stand-In
This was an awesome second-chance love story. Lucas and Lola are friends-almost lovers-enemies-competitors. When their brief romance ended years ago, they went from being great friends to bitter rivals in their careers. With his brother and her sister in love with one another, it's difficult to be totally out of each other's lives. So, they share a chilly civility toward each other.
When a domestic emergency happens, Lucas and Lola end up on a surprise scavenger hunt. Twenty-four hours with your sworn enemy isn't how they want to spend their time, but for the greater good, they go ahead with the hunt. Being in such close proximity forces them to relive past hurts, and reexamine what happened to their once close friendship. I loved the self-reflection that occurs for both Lucas and Lola. They were very telling of how they were then, and how that affected them moving forward.
Having Jason Clarke and Andi Arndt narrating the main couple is always great, but when Lauren tosses in Zachary Webber, Shane East, Erin Mallon, and The Unicorn aka Sebastian York, this became a lot more fun than I was anticipating. The surprises in this story are classic Lauren Blakely, because she likes to keep readers/listeners on their toes. Her ability to take a trope (second-chance romance) so many times in her books, yet make them their own unique story boggles my mind, but I'm grateful for her talent.
You will no doubt enjoy this story...and not quite the end of this series.

Overnight Service
Josh and Haven are perfect for each other. Yes, they have a fierce rivalry, but there’s an underlying respect they have, although you can’t see it on the surface. This isn’t your typical enemies-to-lovers romance. It’s much more intricate. Josh and Haven have a history. Both former athletes turned sports agents, they’re constantly bumping heads—and other things when the occasion is right. They have strong personalities, and each has their own motivation for being the best agent, and there lies their dilemma. Without giving any spoilers, this is a story of two headstrong people who are used to being at the top of their games. For some reason, they can’t seem to stay away from each other for long, be it professional or personal. This story has so many feels, and Josh has crept up the list of my top of Lauren Blakely heroes.
Jason Clarke does an amazing job leading this all-star cast of narrators. I absolutely loved Emma Wilder, and can’t wait to hear more from her. I can’t get enough of Dion, and my crush on Vikas is getting bigger. Great job by everyone!
And the audio of the Engagement Gift was so, so hot! Teddy Hamilton was great, but Elena Wolfe owned this story! I lived vicariously through Lila’s fantasy come true w/her fiancee, Finn and his best friend Jake. I read this novella a while back, but the audio made the story so much better!!

Asking For a Friend
Lauren Blakley is simply a magician- she can take all the tropes and make them fresh and engaging every single time! I adored watching Linc and Amy's friendship and relationship develop. There were so many real life book references dropped here and there in the book- so cool! Asking for a Friend is low-angst, super funny and fan-your-face hot. What a delight! I alternated between reading and listening to the audiobook, the latter of which was fantastic as all multi-cast Lauren Blakely audiobooks are. She absolutely sets the standard.

Sex and Other Shiny Objects
Prepare to swoon! Lauren Blakely never disappoints with each unique premise she creates. She is a master at taking a typical trope like friends-to-lovers (one of my favorites!) and spinning it in such a fun way. Sex and Other Shiny Objects was sweet and sassy and wild fun. Peyton was such a strong businesswoman and her darling lingerie shop and related blog were absolutely delightful. Tristan was such a amazing guy- he was doing an excellent raising his teenage brother after his parents passed away. There interactions were so authentic and he was the type of parent I hope to be. All of Lauren Blakely's book can be enjoyed as standalones, but it's so fun to meet and keep up with her casts of characters in each series.

One Night Stand-In
Lauren Blakely's Boyfriend Material series has been so fun, and I loved One Night Stand-In! I adore that the series is set in the book publishing world and has so many *winks* for us romance book lovers. Blakely treated us to another scavenger hunt, which was so fun in her book Birthday Suit. This one was the vehicle for Lola and Lucas to reconnect and rekindle a steamy attraction from years ago while searching for the belongings of their respective siblings. Their banter was delightful and I enjoyed reading about each clue and their adventure in solving it. This tale was low on the drama scale and off the charts on swoon-worthy moments. It was fantastic and I tore through the pages with great relish. Blakely's books are always a treat.

Overnight Service
Lauren Blakely books are like my favorite dessert- absolutely sinful, hard to resist, and so satisfying! She my author-I-put-down-all-other-books-in-progress-for. I adore the worlds she creates- it's so fun how the characters all tie together, yet all her books can stand alone. Overnight Service has it all- second chance, enemies-to-lovers, and amazing chemistry set in the world of sports agents. So interesting! Being a major baseball fan, I love that the book opened at a game in Yankee stadium- such a fun location. Told mostly from Josh's POV (no one does the male mind like Blakely), Haven's chapters are fun too- some internal musings with some rules for herself and hilarious text conversations. I haven't listened to the audiobook yet, but can't wait- it has quite the all star cast of 10!

~*~ Audiobook Review ~*~
This series has some of the best sexy innuendo-laden banter courtesy of Lauren’s brilliant brain! The dialogue flows naturally and the interpersonal relationships, friendships, and family units are also genuine, believable, and built in a world I wish was our reality. This series further proves that Lauren is an audio genius who works with the best performers, editors, promotors, producers and casting to bring us book after book with 5-star audio!

Splendiferous, funny, positively wonderful excellence! I loved EVERYTHING about it! Witty word play, sexy banter, excellent adulting, cape-wearing women who support each other, panty-melting sexy times! Expertly delivered narration! This series is made of awesome! Honestly, I had a smile on my face throughout the every book. I saved so many "favorite" quotes and bookmarked so many hilarious and panty melting parts. Performances are everything I would expect from my favorite narrators - and then some. I love that I can tell which character is speaking because the performers are so good at varying their voices accordingly. I really enjoyed the absolutely thrilling evolution of the romance in each story and the way they communicate with honesty. Characters are not perfect, but they are constantly evolving and choosing to do the right thing, to support the people in their life, and to foster friendships and support each other. Did I mention the panty melting? Definitely worth the credit! I will (and have) listen again and again.

Every single one of these four amazing books is on my fall-time favorite list and have been repeated several times, so if you have not listened yet you definitely should not pass up this opportunity to get them all with a single credit. HANDS DOWN WORTH A CREDIT!!!!

*Asking for a Friend: Link & Amy
Linc and Amy are adorable. I love that they are instantly attracted to one another and then how they connect like a Rube Goldberg machine. It's so much fun! it makes their connection that much more...

*Sex & Other Shiny Objects: Tristan & Peyton
Tristan has loved Peyton for more than 10 years. I want to call him a wuss for not pursuing her way back when. All of this wishy-washy hemming and hawing just ticks me off. I love a man who knows what he wants, or who he wants, and goes after it/her until either he's succeeded in winning or he's lost and must admit defeat...but at least he would have tried. Vulnerability is absotively posolutely scary as walking in a graveyard at night....but, oh, so worth it!!! (As Tristan and Peyton prove!)

*One Night Stand-In: Lola & Lucas
Lola and Lucas had a chance to be together while in college. But, well, all kinds of things happened that kept them apart. Now, they have a second chance, but they aren't much smarter now than they were then. At least they have fun reconnecting.

*Your French Kisses: Reid & Marley
Reid and Marley meet serendipitously and they have a super wonderful afternoon together in Paris. They have to say goodbye, but neither wants to. They decide to leave the future to fate. As much as I have enjoyed the rest of the books in this series, this novelette is my favorite. It's soooooo romantic!

*Overnight Service: Josh & Haven

I LOVE that there is an orange orchid named 'Polly in this story! Thank you, Lauren, for using my name!!! 💜💛💚💙💖🍪🐼

So how can I possibly not love Josh and Haven's love story!!! Ok. This one is my new favorite! Lol.

I’m a huge fan of Lauren Blakely’s audiobooks, I love her writing, and I most definitely love her narrators. So when an audio book comes out that features 4 full length standalones, all for the cost of one audiobook, it’s a no-brainer. I had to have it. All my favourite tropes - office romance, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, lovers to enemies to lovers - I love them all. Then the narrators, all bringing the stories to life in their signature way. Here’s the lineup… Jason Clarke. Andi Arndt, Zachary Webber, Erin Mallon, Shane East, Sebastian York, Emma Wilder, Teddy Hamilton, Elena Wolf, and more, you know you’re in for a treat. Of course it’s Lauren Blakeley, so there are multiple epilogues and additional stories at the end of each standalone. If you want all the romance, lots of fun and the flirty, you can never go wrong with Lauren Blakely. Pure entertainment. Pure enjoyment. I loved it.

**Audio Review**
Swoon! The Boyfriend Material Collection by Lauren Blakey was a sweet, swoony, and spicy collection of romantic comedies that did crazy good things to my heart, and are not to be missed! This collection includes Asking for a Friend, Sex and Other Shiny Objects, One Night Stand-in, and Overnight Service. This is a fantastic deal for one audio credit!

Jason Clarke, Andi Arndt, and Emma Wilder narrate the leads on this collection, but are joined by so many of my other favorite narrators which was just the best delicious treat for my ears! I couldn't stop smiling, happy sighing, and fanning myself with Jason's performances. Andi and Emma were so much fun with their sweet and sultry performances. My audio-loving heart was oh so happy with each appearance by so many other narrators that I absolutely adore.

Overall, I loved this collection of audiobooks! If you are looking for some light, romantic steamy listens, then you will love these books! I always look forward to more from Lauren Blakely.

The Boyfriend Material Collection

The collection was a lot of fun to read and think on. Imagine the different genres that this collection brought out . Sometimes just reading the stories helps with the reality of relationships. It starts with the first sentence and evolves to conclude at the last sentence. Great reading here. Loved it!

I enjoyed Sex and Other Shiny Objects and One-Night Stand-in Best. Overnight Service wasn’t my favorite. Maybe I would have enjoyed all the books a lot more if I had heard the audiobooks. A lot of comments rave about the multi-cast of our favorite narrators.

Enjoyed all four books in this series. Lovely characters. Could put down the book. The happily ever after in all was a bonus.
