Cathleen Cole currently lives in Utah with her husband Frank, their six dogs, four goats, and flock of chickens. Cathleen and Frank have nomadic souls, so they don’t expect to be tied down to one place indefinitely.
Animals, dog sports, traveling, scuba diving, and everything books are just a few of Cathleen’s passions in life. She measures her quality of life based off the different experiences and adventures she gets to have.
You’ll see every book written by either Cathleen Cole or Frank Jensen will always credit the other as co-authors and that is because they use each other as sounding boards during their writing processes as well as they are each other’s main beta readers. As husband and wife, they insist on sharing all successes and failures equally.
How can you not love a biker who isn’t afraid to show his softer side to a woman who he knows is looking over her shoulder. Camila, her sister and her mom have been in hiding for four years and this is the first time that Camila doesn’t want to run anymore after finding a man who is everything she could ask for.
Kilo takes his time with his neighbor gaining her trust until she feels like she can feel safe around him. The action in this book made this book a huge page turner. I can’t wait to read more from the Saints Outlaws MC Phoenix Chapter.
Cathleen and Frank never DISAPPOINT! I was so lucky to get this book as an ARC. Thank you!
I devour Cathleen and Frank's books and at the point where I have to wait for new releases from them.
Kilo Edge is set in the Pheonix Chapter of the Saints Outlaw Chapter, so it took me a while to get used to new MC characters as though you meet them in Butchers book there not the focus. I can already see that I am going to love these guys like I love all the other MC Chapters. And that's saying something as the Tucson Chapter has my heart!!!
I love how morally grey these men are and their vigilante ways. As they haven't got the clubhouse like the Tucson chapter where most of them live together, you don't get the feel of the clubhouse, but I'm hoping this will change as the books go on. Also, with Cami being the first Old Lady, that's probably another reason why you don't see it as much. Plus, Kilo and Camis relationship is from basically the start of the book (which is not a bad thing). So I can't wait to start getting to know the MC guys more and seeing their characters develop and the relationship between them all. The banter and found family is already there.
Cami, I liked her as a character. She becomes stronger as the book goes along and doesn't let the past 4 years make her weaker but instead stronger.
Cannot believe it's another year until overdrive book. Least Toxics will be here before then.
This book met my expectations 100%. I loveee every book that Cathleen and Frank have written and this one was no different. I cannot wait to read about the rest of the guys😍
I think one of my absolute favorite thing’s about this authors books is how much found family is a major theme in them. Every single time I’m out here as a teary mess just because it makes me feel like I belong too 🥲 I knew I would love Kilo from his first little teaser in previous but I was not prepared for how much of a charmer he is! He’s got the “touch her and die” vibes down to an absolute T. Camila is so sweet and with such a big heart, it was cute to see how humble she was. They were a great fit, but I would by lying if I didn’t say I’m already looking forward to Overdrive!
Kilo’s Edge by Cathleen Cole and Frank Jensen is book one of The Saint’s Outlaws MC : Phoenix Chapter. The book is part of a shared MC world involving numerous authors who are writing books for the different chapters of the Saint’s Outlaws MC. This is a romantic suspense story about Kilo and Camila. It is action packed, full of intrigue and mystery as the plot develops, along with some angst and secrets, violence and steamy love scenes. Their love maybe a slow burn but their story is fast-paced, exciting and entertaining.
“I’m a Saint’s Outlaw, but that doesn’t mean I’m a damn saint, Camila.”
Kilo is ex-military and the Sergeant at Arms for the SOMC. He loves the camaraderie and freedom of being part of the MC but like the others, he doesn’t want or need an old lady. This all changes when he meets his new next door neighbour, as he is attracted to her from the first time he sees her. With the help from one of his MC brothers, he finally gets the chance to ask her out. Camila had noticed him the day they arrived but her mother warned her off him. Then an incident with a football leads to him asking her out but she refuses. Not deterred by her rejection, he sneakily grabs her keys to persuade her to change her mind.
Camila has endured four years of hell and she’s fed up of constantly moving from place to place. She used to be confident and outgoing but past traumas have changed her. She’s protective of her mother and Carmen, her sister, as trouble follows the family everywhere they go. Her attraction to Kilo builds but she’s no idea about Motorbike Clubs and what they do. He’s so kind and helps her and her family out. She repays him by cooking him meals and what starts out as some fun quickly develops into more as he’s so charming. He surprises her by making her feel safe even though she knows he is a dangerous man.
Kilo realises she’s hiding something but his feelings for her are now too strong to step away. His protective and possessive side quickly emerges especially when her past is threatening to pull them apart. The MC brothers thoroughly enjoy poking fun Kilo over his relationship but when it’s revealed there is far more to her situation, they immediately join together to help her, pleased to have something to fight for. Camila knows she needs to start trusting someone again but doesn’t want to drag him into the mess her family are in. What will Kilo have to risk to keep her safe?
This is the first book I’ve read by these authors but I will definitely be looking at their others as this story includes characters from their The Viking’ s Rampage MC: Tucson and The Berserker’s Rage MC : Wyoming series. I loved Overdrive who is Kilo’s best friend and the club’s VP. They teased each other mercilessly so really pleased his book is next. Kilo and Camila’s romance is a real page-turner and this SOMC chapter are so much fun.
I’ve met these guys in the Vikings MC: Tucson books and wanted to see them again. Was not disappointed.
These authors know how to flesh out their characters and make sure they aren’t just one note.
Camila has been in hiding with her mom and 11 yr old sister for 4 years. She’s always on edge and having to look over her shoulder. I think how that’s been portrayed in her demeanor and actions is very well done. She’s worried about her little sister and her mother. She mourns the life she could have had, had they not needed to run. She feels guilty because her mom and sister are in danger because of her. This is portrayed so wonderfully. She’s a full character that has nuance to her personality.
Kilo is cocky, possessive, always seems to be smiling, particularly at Camila. He’s ex- military and goes after what he wants. In this case, it’s Camila. He’s also very protective.
I’ve read her previous series and really enjoyed seeing them pop up again. Even if it’s just as a brief supporting character.
All of the brothers in this Saints Outlaws MC seem to all be fleshed out in some way. You’re starting to see the individual characters of all these men and how they interact with each other. I think that’s so important for a first book in a series. The character development has to be there to make us want to continue the series. This book has that.
The storyline is consistent and wraps everything up nicely at the end. The spice is good, but nothing crazy that makes you question logistics and how that would go there and do what!?!
Overall, this is the start of another great series by this duo. They’ve yet to disappoint me and I hope that trend continues onto the next books and series. Do recommend this book.
I am no stranger to Cathleen and Frank’s books and let me tell you that Kilo’s Edge did not disappoint. One of my all time favourite series is the Tucson Chapter and I just love that they incorporate all the other series in and we get to see a part of everyone again. The found family in this book as usual is top notch, these boys will do anything and everything to protect their family and won’t stop at anything. Kilo was easy to fall in love with and had serious touch her and die vibes. He was determined from the get go to protect Camilia and her family even without knowing what the threat was. The main characters had amazing chemistry and I loved getting to see Camilia open up and be herself around Kilo. There was a lot of character growth in the book especially for Camilia and she went from having just her mum and sister to have a whole tribe of family. If you’re familiar with other books from this author then you already know this book was filled with adventure and boy do I love when they all get together and fight for their women’s safety. I can’t wait to read more in the series
↓↓ Kilo's Edge takes place in the Phoenix chapter of the Saint Outlaws. It's action packed and just like with every MC book, there are hot bikers that are extremely possessive of their woman.
Kilo finally meets his new neighbor and is instantly drawn to her. She gives him a run for his money at first but finally gives him a chance. I enjoyed their connection though at times it felt a bit rushed.
I think the thing I enjoyed most in the book was the found family aspect. It was so strong. Even not having read any previous books where several of the side characters from other chapters are from, you could yell how close knit everyone was.
I loved this story about Camila and Kilo. The authors did a great job of telling their story as they traveled the bumpy road toward a relationship. It was instant attraction when the couple first saw each other. But Camila had a secret that made her reluctant to get involved with him. Finally she decided to take a chance. They are a sexy couple and there is plenty of spice in this book. There is also a dangerous threat against Camila and her family that could destroy everything for them. This is the first time I have read the work of these authors but I will be looking for more books by them. They tell a fantastic story.
When Cathleen and Frank release a book I devour it! I’m never left disappointed! We first met Kilo when he made some appearances in the Vikings Rampage MC. He is former military and the Sargent in Arms for the Saint’s Outlaws MC Phoenix Chapter.
Camilla and her mom and sister are on the run and are afraid to trust anyone. Kilo immediately notices his new neighbor and tries his best to get to know her. Eventually he gains her trust and they begin spending time with each other. Danger is never far behind and once Kilo finds out what Camilla and her family are running from, he and his MC brothers strep in to handle the threat.
Great story line ✔️ Suspense and action ✔️✔️ Spice✔️ Touch her and 💀✔️ Great banter between fellow MC Brothers✔️
Kilo's Edge is the first book in the Saint Outlaws's MC: the Phoenix Chapter series. This is part of a shared MC world, The Saint’s Outlaws, however, each MC Chapter series within branches off and can be read as a standalone.

Kilo, a former soldier, who owns a gun store/shoot range and is the Sgt of Arms with the Saint’s Outlaws MC. When he meets his new neighbor, he is instantly drawn to her... There's something about her that makes him want break down her walls, keep her close and protect her.
Camila has a dark past. Her and her family are constantly on the move... Never able to stay in one place for too long, always keeping people at arms length and always looking over their shoulders. When the tattooed biker next door "pushes" his way into her life... She finally feels a sense of normalcy.. But will he stick around once he knows her secret?
Cathleen and Frank have proven once again why they are on my 'Must read everything they release' list. Kilo and Camila's story was everything I have come to expect from their books. The characters are tough, yet strong and caring, and with some very funny parts to the story I couldn't stop reading till it was finished. It was great to see some familiar favourites from previous MC's popping into the story. This book was a fantastic start to this new series and I can't wait till we get book 2 🥰
Kilo and Camilla's story is the perfect start to the Saint's Outlaws. Camilla's life has been far from easy for the past 4 years and she hasn't felt safe in that time. Kilo is perfect for her, he's not afraid of danger and he'll do anything to protect the ones he loves. And, he loves Camilla. We were lucky enough to meet the club members when they came to the aid of the Viking's Rampage, but Kilo's Edge allows us to really introduce them. I can't wait to read the story of Overdrive and all the members of the Saint's Outlaws.
Meet Kilo! Sexy, alpha male who has amazing tattoos, beautiful eyes who has no intention on finding an old lady!
A well placed football brings him up close and personal with his new neighbor, Camila. She’s mysterious and wants to keep her distance. Guarding a secret.
It’s so much fun to watch these men fall to their knees for a woman. This one is full of heat and a lot of twists and turns.
Boy, these authors know how to write cracking MC romance and Kilo's Edge is no exception.
Camila and her mum and sister have just moved next door to Kilo, he is smitten at first sight however Camila is reticent, despite her obvious attraction.
Kilo is all in and when Camila's circumstances come to light and she is in danger, he will do what he does best. Fight and protect.
Great chemistry between the two, good suspenseful story, nicely spicely, fun moments and lots of getting to know the club members.
This is my first book by these authors and let;s say I was not disappointed at all. Now I need to go and read their other books. This is a story about Camilla and Kilo. It gets your attention from the beginning and keeps you in a strong hold till the end. The story line is great, it is filled with suspense, action, family, found family, spice, touch her and die vibes. I can’t wait to read Overdrive’s story.
Kilo’s Edge is coming! Jump into the Saint’s Outlaws shared MC world and soar with Kilo and Camila. A man who would do anything for the woman he fell hard for, and the tired of running, strong, yet fragile woman, he fell for. She takes on the responsibility of protecting her family, and he helps her defeat their demons. Together along with his MC club brothers, who have welcomed her into their family. These two, will pull you in and have you on the edge of your seat.
Kilo and Camila are so adorable. I love how innocent Camila is and then you learn all the trouble she has really faced. She is strong and brave and would do anything to protect her family. Kilo may be in denial but he falls at the first sight of Camila. His brother's have no problem putting him in his place to make him admit that is his old lady. They really have each other's backs and love each other fiercely.
This is a good read. It has entertaining characters, a good plot to keep your interest and a love connection advancing toward an HEA. The MC are good ex military personnel. They help those in need, some security and some clandestine activities. A mother and her daughters are in witness protection to prevent a gangster from killing one of the daughters. It is very entertaining. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger. Looking forward to reading more in this series.
I worry sometimes that the hype for a book won’t match with reality. The hype for this book was right on par. I connected with the characters. Kilo is such a big grizzly bear but a teddy bear for Cam. Cam is a fighter in her own right. Now the drama when it hit was dramatic. Now my favorite part was when my book boyfriend’s came in the scene. I seen what was done with my Toxic there. Great read.
Kilo and Camila I really enjoyed Kilo and Camila's story. I loved both main characters pretty quickly. I enjoyed seeing the fall in love. There was a little drama, emotional moments, danger, and action. We also got some delicious spice. I think this was a great read! I look forward to Overdrive's book next!
I loved everything about the book. I can't wait till the next one comes out. Once I started reading the book I couldn't put it down. I loved how the storyline flowed through out the book and you brought some or mentioned some of the other characters from your other books! Again I can't wait to see where this club will go or do next!
What a great opener to this New book series. Was not disappointed. Kilo & Camila brought the fire. Two people that are complete opposite. But one look at Camila & Kilo knew there was something about her. We got some Snippets of some characters from previous Cathleen Cole & Frank Jensen books. Absolutely loved this book. Look forward to more from this series.
I loved Kilo and Camila/Mercy. I loved how Kilo was fascinated by Camila and was determined to get to know her. It was great getting to know the guys of the club. This book has twist and turns that kepts you turning the pages. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
Another fantastic book by this duo. Kilo has a new neighbor who catches his eye. He can't seem to catch hers, though. Until he forces an introduction and continues to wear her down. Camile is hiding something and very leery and a tad jumpy. She's definitely running from something. Will she grab onto her future or let the past rule her?
Reading you like; -Suspense & action -Found family -Spice -Touch her and die -Banter
Any time I get a new ARC book from Cathleen & Frank, I go feral and devour it as quickly as possible!
Camilla and her mum and sister are constantly on the move. They are afraid to trust anyone! Kilo meets his new neighbour and is instantly drawn to her. He works hard to break down her guards and gain her trust! Camilla takes her time to warm to him but finally she gives me a chance!
The spice and connection was so well done and didn’t overpower the plot at all! Now one of my bug bears is “touch her and you die” tropes being thrown in when it isn’t really involved! This book HIT with this trope, truly fantastic. We love a MMC that can take care his women🥰
I absolutely love the found family aspect in this story. The brothers are all close knit and I loved seeing the characters from the other chapters!
A great read. I absolutely loved Kilo and Camila’s story ❤️❤️❤️ lots of thrilling excitement and drama. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤
Saint’s Outlaws MC Phoenix series has lots of drama with a whole bunch of badass sexy bikers!! Camila has a sad and scary story with her mom and eleven year old sisters to add to the drama.
Camila is just trying to live a normal life. Till she meets kilo. Her super cute biker neighbor. She doesn’t want to get attached. He makes it soooo hard not to do. When she gives it a try, her past comes crazy down on her. Now it’s up to Camila to trust the man that holds her heart. Love it.
This is my 1st book by these authors & now I have to gobble up everything they've written! I knew the SOMC was going to be an epic adventure, but Cathleen & Frank have set the stage with the Phoenix chapter!
