I found it very interesting as it described the history of the Temple being built up to the time the book was written. It described in wonderful detail that one could just picture the Model T's and the steam locomotives. I would recommend it to anyone who might be interested in this book.

I really only read about half of the book. It is very interesting. Full of neat stories and historical facts. It does kind of read like an encyclopedia... The notes sections at the end of each chapter are sometimes just as long or longer as the chapter itself. And if you skip through the notes you miss a lot of detail. As interesting as it was I couldn't bring myself to finish at this time. I'll keep it as a reference and probably go back to it later.
