If you love a character driven, suspense thriller that is action packed this is your book! Edge of your seat!
Stephen and Mak are assigned to investigate a man who has come out of hiding and has suspiciously invested a lot of time and money in a small town.
Soon they learn that their investigation may be related to the disappearance of Lacy, who just vanished.
What arises is a whirlwind of danger for all involved and anyone close to them.
Stephen and Mak must race against the clock to save themselves and others from a sinister scheme.

Another fantastic book by Addison Michael.
This is the second book on the Mak and Wilton thriller series.
If you love to read a book that has twists and turns, kidnappings, daring escapes, explosions, near death experiences, car races, human black market and murder then this book is for you. It will not disappoint and it will keep you on the edge of your seat. Make sure to read the first Book When They Disappeared before reading this one.

This was a fast-paced, interesting read, that I found I did not want to put down! Great, multi-faceted characters. Vivid descriptions. I was glued with anticipation to my Kindle screen the whole way through! Kept me captivated from the first page to the last.

This book was brilliant!
I loved the short chapters, and I was turning the pages so fast, and didn’t want the book to end.
Mak and Wilton together again, investigating a disappearance, to find a lot more secrets and so much danger.
Fast paced and very suspenseful, When She Vanished will keep you so hooked until the very shocking end.
Very twisty and packed with action, this addictive thriller is a must read.
Highly recommend.

Well. That was almost as bad as the first book. I don't believe this author does any research on the subjects in her books. Tf is a brake shift? Did she mean gear shift? At least I didn't have to read "baby mama" twenty different time like the first book, and thankfully she changed "shot in the gut" to "shot in the abdomen". Mak and Stephen are still the worst US Marshals. I wont be continuing the series.

I really wanted to love this book. It’s been months, I keep putting it down and find it incredibly hard to get through. It just wasn’t interesting enough for me and I find it slow. The multiple simultaneous crimes and story line had me excited but I just felt like it was going nowhere for too long. I am about 70% of the way through and pushing to make it through the end.

Disappointed
This plot was good. Love Mak’s character and Stephen’s too. But 100% dislike how it all ended. Talk about a disappointing cliffhanger.

I absolutely love how this book keeps you wanting to read. I didn’t want to put it down. Mak is on her game with solving these cases and sometimes getting hurt in the process 😉 If you love a good thriller that’s easy to follow this is definitely for you!

*I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through! The pace didn't let up, fast and furious, with just enough time to breathe before the next heart pounding moment. Mak and Stephen make such a good team, so different in character but each with their own skill set making them a force to be reckoned with. You can not put the book down until you've finished it, it's that addictive!
Addison Michael always nails the storyline and she hasn't failed this time, I can't wait until Book 3 comes out to see what other heart stopping scenes she will have in store.
