Corina, a freshman in college, has just gotten out of a year-long relationship. One that ended in heartbreak when she caught her ex, Aaron, cheating on her. But there’s one thing that can help her move on. And his name is Josh.

Josh is handsome, charming, and ambitious. He’s the perfect guy. Or at least that’s what everyone thinks. When Josh and Corina first meet, their chemistry is undeniable. He sweeps her off her feet and they start a fairy tale life together. Except Aaron isn’t ready to give up on Corina, and the relationship between Corina and Josh isn’t as innocent as it appears to be.

A tragic accident sends secrets spiraling out of control, leaving one person scrambling to hide the truth, another person digging up the past and seeking revenge, and someone else ready to risk everything to get what they want.

I was hooked from the beginning and literally couldn't go to bed until I knew how it ended! For someone who is new to thriller/mystery, this was a perfect read to start with!

This was overall a good book. Definitely a twist at the end I didn’t see coming! That alone is worth the read. I admire anyone who writes, publishes and puts out a book. That’s just bad a**.

I do think the s*x scenes were a little unnecessary and randomly placed. I don’t feel like they belonged in the book at any point.

The flash back scene in the hospital seemed to come out of nowhere and I honestly thought the author accidentally inserted a section of the book in the wrong place. Like she accidentally copied and pasted the beginning of the book on the wrong page. It wasn’t until I finished that section that I realized it was a flashback scene. I’m definitely not trying to be overly critical because overall it was a good book. Especially for a debut novel. But I’m hopeful that her next book will be a littler better edited. I will definitely read anything she published!
