The reader is presented with thought-provoking and challenging issues such as soulmate and platonic love, and how we deal with loss and departed loved-ones. Poignant and heartfelt in places but humorous in others as the characters display the full range of human emotions. If you like Jane Austen, you will love Elizabeth Lowndes. If you like Pre-Raphaelites, you will be drawn to Irene and her world. If you are an idealist and a romantic, this book might be for you.
