well that was……something i guess 😅 i wasn’t a fan of either MCs at all. I’ve read that you can read the side stories without the main stories but i really felt like i was thrown into this couple and had no idea wtf was happening. maybe that wasn’t the best idea….so my enjoyment was kinda hindered from the beginning. also let’s just say, ilay would NEVER, even zhenya and caesar would never!!!
pre-read: WISH ME LUCK 😭 the fomo is getting me hard....i've heard about how insanely obsessive and toxic this ml is so i'm freaking scareddddd. from what i've seen about this manhwa, it reminds me of a tree without roots 👀 i feel like i need to read it though because i want to see if he's worse of a black flag compared to zhenya (codename anastasia), caesar (roses and champagne) and ilay (passion). these three are some of my fav manhwa boys, so i want to see if i will feel the same about this story. I'M ALREADY CRYING 😭
This is literally the only thing I've ever reread. Third times a charm!! 😅 This was THE story that opened me up to truly dark and fucked up storytelling. Guy wants boy so guy kidnaps and tortures boy to keep him with him. When I say brutal- BRUTAL!! And the ending? 🙃 please. This is a side story but I've never even read the main story and honestly, don't have any inclination to.
I didn’t think I’d get so hooked, but Sadistic Beauty: Side Story Vol. 1 pulled me in from the first few pages. It’s intense, emotionally charged, and definitely not for the faint of heart. The art is gorgeous though🤭👌🏻..
The story? Dark and twisted, just the way I like it when I’m in the mood for disturbing and heart wrenching stuff. It talks about power dynamics, obsession, and emotional manipulation, but what really caught me off guard was how layered the characters were. I expected shallow cruelty or eroticism for shock value, but there’s genuine emotional complexity here. You feel a weird mix of discomfort and empathy, especially for the characters who seem trapped in their own desires. The rape scenes were just too intense like what the hell???
when Cha Wookyung, a wealthy heir, manipulates and confines his former professor, Byun Minho. Driven by an obsessive desire, Wookyung isolates Minho from his penthouse, taking advantage of his weak minded and traumatized him, what leads Minho into a state of despair, culminating in a suicide attempt. The scene give me so many emotions i was hooked🤌🏻🤌🏻.
as the title said, sadistic beauty....but still better than Roses and Champagne, in this case, no one shot the person they claim to have feeling for...and in the end, kind of happy ending for two broken people, at least what they can find together, I dont regret reading it, but it is not for everyone for sure.
P.S. I am glad he got rid of his manipulative mother, I think if we got few more chapters, we will have the chance to see some changes for better in billionaire boy
