Fresh Starts: The Cowboy's Lady / My Funny Valentine

Cozy up with two heartwarming stories of romance waiting right around the corner!

The Cowboy's Lady

Fresh off a breakup, Taylor Manning accepts a yearlong teaching position in Cougar Point, Montana, and plans to focus on herself, avoid men and return home a changed woman. That’s before she meets Russ Palmer, a local rancher who’s raising his teenage sister all by his lonesome (and doesn’t appreciate his decisions as a surrogate parent being second-guessed!). But no matter how much they disagree, their chemistry is off the charts, if only they would stop arguing long enough to notice.

My Funny Valentine

Dianne Williams needs a man…but only for a night. The night of the Port Blossom Community Center’s Valentine’s dinner, to be precise. Exasperated by her children’s relentless efforts to set her up on a blind date, she takes matters into her own hands. Steve Creighton fits the bill perfectly: he’s handsome, charming and owns a decent suit. When Dianne asks him to the Valentine’s dinner, he gamely agrees, not expecting their feelings for one another to intensify.

The Cowboy's Lady: 2/5. I didn't like Russ at all. I didn't find him charming. And i ended up disliking Taylor for ignoring all their differences. Russ's sister was cute tho.

My Funny Valentine: 4/5. Super cute. Dianne was relatable with her low self esteem. And Steve was charming and sweet.
