About the author

Pixel Ate is actually a team! We’re a mom and dad, who live in the Pacific Northwest. We have five kids ages 10 all the way down to 1. We don’t like to brag, but we think our kids are pretty great.

We live on a little bit of land that we’re slowly turning into a farm. We like having lots of space outside to run and play and we’re excited to fill it with some animals. Yay for goats!

Everyone in our family loves reading—well, the baby loves chewing on books—so we thought, why not write our own stories? It’s super fun creating worlds and characters and adventures and even more fun when we know other people are enjoying them. Plus, it’s extra special when our kids get to help.
We really did have a cat named Bruce Lee the Scar-Faced Ninja Attack Kitty From Japan (Who Smells Like Poop) who got himself into all kinds of sticky situations, but sadly, he is no longer with us. He truly was a great kitty and he truly did fart a lot. Now we have an equally great kitty named Tater Tot and she is a lot less stinky, but just as loved.

character idea

I have an idea for a new character. His name is Ray and his Hatchamob is a fire type wolf Hatchamob. His name is Phoenix. His ultimate ability transforms him into a gigantic wolf made of fire. In this form, he can transform into any shape. His other abilities are: lava block summon, magma block summon, fire manipulation, lava shield, fire clone, comet strike, and a unique ability to summon creatures made out of fire. Please add this into your books and not just into your Hatchadex.

Oh, my gods! I loved it! I can’t wait for your next one! You’ve joined two of my most favorite things, Pokemon and Minecraft! I have read everyone of your books you have posted. I just wanted to know, can I be in your listings? I’m sorry I’m a bit late, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. PIXEL ATE! I have an idea for a pokemon.
My Pokémon would be named Violet, a life type wolf. She has a unique power to summon vines from the ground, as long as it’s grass or dirt. Her Ultimate is called Raging Momma. Raging Momma can make her powers ten times the amount as before. Also, if it’s a double battle, she puts protective shields over her comrades. She would be my Giganta Maxed Pokemon! I love this series, but WHY DID YOU HAVE TO MAKE ELLIE AND RIDGE QUIT THE LEGENDS!?!? IT HAS MADE ME SUPER SAD! Can you do conjunction things, where you sign books to kids in person? It would be really cool! Sorry if I took up too much of your time, I just wanted to let you know, you and Rara are very awesome. You guys are one of the inspirations that helped me start writing my own book! I would love it if you’d read it when it comes out. It’s called “Diary of a Minecraft Dog”.
