My purpose in writing this book was to provide some basic understanding of grief and some practical tools that can help with the coping of a recent loss. Everyone is unique in how they deal with grief. Some people are able to move on quite quickly, while others languish in distress. How we deal with grief and its intensity can differ depending on the nature of your relationship with your loved one and whether the death was expected or unexpected, age of the person, stage of life etc. This is not a therapeutic book and it is not a substitute for support. Some people will seek out the comfort of others, while some people will choose to go it alone. Grieve in your own way and at your own There ae no rules. It takes however long it takes. Use whatever healthy tools you can to cope and heal. This book can be the first step in the right direction.
