I have always been the odd man in the group.

I was the kid with two moms, the boy who wore women’s clothing more often than not, and the first guy to bring two girls to prom.

I turn heads wherever I go because of my eccentric style and life choices that most do not understand or accept.

New Orleans was the first place that ever felt like home, so when I was granted permission to start my own chapter, I left the judgmental looks of my hometown behind.

Life was fantastic in the Big Easy until an unexpected visitor walked into my brewery, stealing my attention and making me lose my focus. I’ve always been very perceptive.

Some have even called me clairvoyant.

But her?

I did not see it coming, and I saw everything.

I'm a retired 45-year-old Puerto Rican wife and mother of 3 plus 1 bonus daughter. Originally from NYC, now living a quiet life in the south suburbs of Chicago. I enjoy reading and writing romance and erotic fiction. I'm addicted to coffee, sci-fi, and all things Marvel and Harry Potter.

I was a teen mom with a whole world of statistics against me. Every time I was told I couldn't do something, I did it, took pictures, and smiled with my son on my hip for everyone who ever doubted me.

Now, after finding the love of my life in my thirties, we married in the great 2020 pandemic, which shall not be named. We have a house full of teenagers who don't need mommy anymore, and the hubs is a traveling ER nurse, SO I have found myself with a lot of downtime.

After years of having this story taking space in my head, I decided to share it with the world. Gotta say, this writing gig is HARD. But with some time and grace, I'll get it right.

I was going to start this a few nights ago but the minute I saw NOLA, I thought to myself, “This sounds awfully familiar because my (admittedly feeble) memory seems to think I’ve read about a motorcycle club out of New Orleans.” So I set it aside.
I finally got around to checking my Goodreads account to see that it’s new to me so here we go.

I’m finding the story quite entertaining but the author desperately needs a proofreader. The misspellings and grammatical errors are many.

The characters constantly call each other Baby or Cher which I personally find a bit confusing as there’s no delineation indicating that it’s a term of endearment between any particular couple. Also, is Cher supposed to be chérie? I can’t figure out any other reason to use it.

This is supposed to be about a motorcycle club but I’m about 3/4 through and the vast majority of the story has centered on two men and a woman wanting to add a fourth to their family. The club seems to be referred to only in passing.

There is nothing, nada, zip about Seer’s supposed clairvoyant talent that’s mentioned in the blurb.

LEAH, Chapter 2 (speaking of Seer/Fabian early on) - I have interviewed all of his partners for my thesis and have even witnessed him having sex with multiple genders, all in the name of science.

SEER, Chapter 13 - We never do any sort of public display of affection.* So, although the club and most employees know our dynamic, they’ve never seen it. It’s private to just us and our family. We aren’t a sideshow to be gawked at. So how did Leah witness him having sex with others if they keep it private? Her thesis was finished before she joined their happy little trio.

What is in the box rescued from the fire Leah is so intent on hiding? Inquiring minds want to know. Who made the hang-up phone call to her from Pennsylvania? Why bother mentioning them since neither are explored.

Well, Charlotte is about as dumb as a box of rocks. Does she really think the club is going to embrace her if she kills Leah? I found her claim of a familial relationship pretty tenuous. I may have to go back and re-read how she’s related.

Sorry to say I found Annie, who we only meet via telephone conversations, more interesting than Leah. The characters weren’t given a lot of personality but pretty much depended on sexual tension to tell their story.
I wonder at the epilogue featuring Skull when the next book in the series is about Nova.

*Don’t kissing and hand holding count?

This is the first story in the new series, well more of a second gen, spin off series as this is the New Orleans chapter, but I do suggest reading the first series to catch you up on the drama and all that. This does deal with issues that started in the original series, so I would not read this as a standalone. That said, this is Seer's story, Genevieve/Judge's son; he is now the president of the New Orleans chapter. When Leah steps into his bar and wants a job, he gives her a chance and hires her. Now all Seer wants is Leah, but he doesn't want to risk losing her as his life is not what people would consider normal. Will Leah be the one to force his hand?

So, there was a lot that seemed to happen behind the scenes that personally I feel would have been freaking amazing and would have made this a better story. The whole reason that Leah sought Seer out in the first place, that would have been amazing to read and not just a casual mention in Leah's thoughts. The whole poly thing, seemed super rushed, like Oh Phobe is totally ok with them moving on and bringing Leah into the situation, o they love each other now? I will say I totally loved the whole touch her and die vibe Seer had going. We get some drama, danger, violence, and a few nice naughty bits. I give this 4 stars.

This is the first in a new series, and what an amazing beginning Seer’s story is!
Seer is the president of the New Orleans Chapter, which is the only place that felt at home for him, and he is in an unconventional relationship with Kai and Phoebe, and they were not looking to add to their family until Leah, a former Amish girl, who is doing her thesis to become a sex therapist, and someone that he did not see coming, comes into their lives.
This is a well written story with emotions, poly family, bi-awakening, drama, intrigue, humor, friendships, and love, which leads to an entertaining and compelling page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Adding to the Family

Seer is the Prez of the MorningStar MC New Orleans Chapter and is in a relationship with Kai, Phoebe and now Leah. It’s unconventional but it works for them. Leah was a big surprise to this family because she was a former Amish girl who was doing her thesis for college and wants to be a sex therapist. This is from the former Amish girl who has never had any type of relationship…that is until she goes to work for Seer.

It was about the forming of this special family and how the MC was dealing someone who is out to get them and a hurricane coming into New Orleans. There was plenty of steam and the suspense and drama made this a big page turner.

A new chapter in the series. Seer is the president of the MorningStar MC: New Orleans Chapter and he is a bit different than most. He is in a poly relationship. There is a lot of twists and turn in this story, but it's a good start to the chapter.

There's danger, storms, twisted characters, and steamy scenes. This is my first read of D. Williams, but I am planning to read the next two books in this new series to come. I'm looking forward to the stories.

I like the characters and the premise of the story and I'm looking forward to reading the stories for the other characters in this series. It was a fairly quick read.

Like the idea of Leah joining the work staff in Seer’s bar and the group has an incredible work environment but his home life is on the mend. Bring in the rest of his crew whether it be Kai and Phoebe or the MC family and we have a story that is taking off. Love the way the characters are so supportive of each other not only professionally but personally as well. Just when we are getting started down the road the weather changes (in more ways than one).
Have to love this story, along with the extended family. They have enough angst to keep the pages turning. Different storyline than we have heard from the MC group previously.
Can’t wait for more of the family stories.

First of this is a boon with a poly relationship. Which if you have never read that it is when there are more than interest as with being m/f, m/m, f/f or all of them together.

Now that that is out of the way I think we all have been waiting for Seer’s book and he came in with a blaze. I absolutely loved that hardly none of the book was about his road name. We learned about him and each of his partners. I loved we see Judge, Karma and Axel. I can’t wait to see the rest of the MC on this series! I wonderful start to a new series for sure.

I have loved the Morning Star MC and now getting to know the New Orleans chapter and also  starting with Seer Heck yeah!!!

Ok so we have not only Seer we have Kia and Phoebe and now we get to meet Leah and what a change of pace she is , she is a former Amish Girl who is working on her thesis and trying to become a sex therapist,  she was not looking for this family and Seer did not see her coming but wow and now they have to deal with a hurricane on the way and someone of course is out to get them but Holy hotness what a book

SEER by D Williams due 9/23/24 4 stars
Seer & Kai & Phoebe + Leah

This is a different one. Love is different for all--especially these. They have been recovering from the loss of another who has been gone for some time. When Leah enters the scene things change. She has a repressed background. Yet she wants a future that will require awakening. Is this the group to open her eyes and her experience?

Some fans of the MC will be surprised at this one. Others will love it. You'll need to decide as always, on great writing, characters, and story. Plan for plenty of heat.

Seer, the Prez of the MorningStar MC New Orleans Chapter is in a relationship with Kai, Phoebe and soon Leah is added to the equation.

Leah is a former Amish girl working on her thesis for college as she's studying to become a sex therapist. She is a former Amish girl without any experience with relationships until she meets Seer.

This also shows the forming of a special family plus how the MC deals with those out to get them.

A quick read which explores the world of polyamory, love and friendship. Leah, a young woman who has left her Amish community and is studying to become a sex therapist, has little actual life experience of the subject. Seeking out Seer. Told from dual POV, we see Leah shedding her past and learning there is so much more to love and multiple bonding than words on the pages of a thesis.
This was a fast moving read, though I would say the brevity sacrificed depth, but still pretty hot. 💖💖💖

~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Seer is the President of MorningStar MC New Orleans Chapter and he also is in a polyamourous relationship with Kai and Phoebe. When the sweet Leah walks into his bar he knows he wants her but will she accept their relationship? I love the danger, spice, love, laughter and friendship. This story just continues along the lines of the original MorningStar MC. I highly recommend this author and her MC series.
Book four in the morning star New Orleans series. Seer is president of the club. With it comes responsibility. Leah needs a job and fast. One night they learned that they have feeling for each other. So when her house goes on fire. Seer is there to save her. Seer is scare to make a move this life style is not for everyone . He’s cautious with her but at the same time he’s all alpha with her. You won’t put it down.
This is the first book in the Morning Star MC: New Orleans. We have Seer who is in a poly relationship with Phoebe and Kai. Then walks in Leah who works at his. I loved the spice, the laughter we always get with D Williams books, and of course if you are looking to read this book you must pick it up. Can't wait for the next book.
Love comes in many shapes and forms. Seer explores several of those in an MC setting. What happens when a sweet formerly Amish girl is introduced to life in New Orleans while studying for her doctoral degree? Just about everything! In the best way.
I love D Williams writing that's why I gave 4 stars. I was looking forward to reading this series. Not really a fan of Polygamy. But some positive thoughts it was well written and nice introduction into the NOLA Chapter of the Morning Star MC
I love how open these stories of D. Williams are. There is always some intrigue and twists and turns as well as a HEA.
The variation in the types of relationships in these series is awesome and Seer is no exception.
A little loss a lot of angst but they get the girl in the end.
Its the MC in NOLA, which means old enemies but new players. What they don't remember is, no matter the location, don't mess with Morningstar MC. Especially the President's old lady!.
