About the author

Jilleen Dolbeare is the author of the Shadow Winged Chronicles, an urban fantasy series about a shape-shifting bush pilot in Alaska.

She loves riding horses, warm ocean beaches, and long walks in the mountains, none of which she can do in the Arctic, so she writes.

Her activities are riding her four-wheeler on cold ocean beaches (often frozen or covered with ice), and long walks to and from work when it’s 40 below—in the dark. She does keep her stakes sharp for those vamps that show up during the 67 days of night.

Jilleen lives with her husband and two hungry cats in Barrow, Alaska where she also discovered her love and admiration of the Inupiaq people and their folklore.

Vampire bats

Brigid and her friends are happy they have finally gotten rid of the witches, but then, a new enemy shows up. To top that off she has to worry about problems with the Griffins, pain in the butt guests, and dealing with dragons, among other things. This is a very good series, I enjoyed all the characters and storylines and am looking forward to reading more from the author.

The best series in a long few years

What does everyone want, really want? Someone who loves us and will be there unconditionally. Enter Mr. Mittens, no ordinary Rag Doll Cat that has Ben around since childhood. He's actually 400 pounds of predator, a Splinter Cat.
This book has all the fae/paranormal sources you could want and a few with large personalities. It leaves room for more, I just hope the author keeps writing. Honestly, I could read another 20+ of this series.

Mystical, Magical, and Highly Enjoyable

I am not very good at writing reviews, but I have to say that I had a difficult time stopping reading this series to do life. I read all 6 books straight through. I enjoyed the variety of characters and the close relationships that were formed. I think anyone who enjoys this genre of books will love this series. My only problem with it was that we never did find out what Merlin said to Megan to get her back to living her life!!

A good story

I know my title was not great, but I REALLY enjoyed these books. Lets just say I am over 70, but this story would appeal to any age. It is fast pace with exciting characters . and friendships. Their are twins and turns . lets just say a great read to be enjoyed for anyone who likes adventure and fantasy. Good verse evil.

This series was so entertaining that I stayed up until 2 in the morning to read every night. I liked the characters and I enjoyed the story. At the end of the last book they gave a sample of another series and I got so caught up in it that I purchased it and continued reading. I will be following this author

So much story!

I thoroughly enjoyed this set. It’s a roller coaster ride for sure. Good strong characters and a well developed storyline. Lots of witty banter, action scenes aplenty and while there is romance, there’s no open door scenes.

But WHY! ***SPOILER*** did they really have to kill Luke? Bummer on a Grandy scale seriously. It was nice to see our girl finally getting her crap together for someone who was supposed to be so strong. Satisfaction at least at the end.

Splintered Magic series

Interesting story line. Good characters. Lots of different humans and "other" folk. Action. Family. I've read this series before, but I read it again because I enjoyed it. Not much profanity. No sex scenes. Enjoyed reading it.
