বিমল কর-এর জন্ম ৩ আশ্বিন ১৩২৮। ইংরেজি ১৯২১। শৈশব কেটেছে নানা জায়গায়। জব্বলপুর, হাজারিবাগ, গোমো, ধানবাদ, আসানসোল। কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের স্নাতক। কর্মজীবন: ১৯৪২ সালে এ. আর. পি-তে ও ১৯৪৩ সালে আসানসোলে মিউনিশান প্রোডাকশন ডিপোয়। ১৯৪৪-এ রেলওয়ের চাকরি নিয়ে কাশী। মণিলাল বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় সম্পাদিত ‘পরাগ’ পত্রিকার সহ-সম্পাদক, পরে ‘পশ্চিমবঙ্গ’ পত্রিকা ও ‘সত্যযুগ’-এর সাব-এডিটর। এ-সবই ১৯৪৬ থেকে ১৯৫২ সালের মধ্যে। ১৯৫৪-১৯৮২ সাপ্তাহিক ‘দেশ’ পত্রিকার সঙ্গে যুক্ত ছিলেন। ১৯৮২-১৯৮৪ ‘শিলাদিত্য’ মাসিক পত্রিকার সম্পাদক। বহু পুরস্কার। আনন্দ পুরস্কার ১৯৬৭ এবং ১৯৯২। অকাদেমি পুরস্কার ১৯৭৫। কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শরৎচন্দ্র চট্টোপাধ্যায় পুরস্কার ১৯৮১। দিল্লি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের নরসিংহদাস পুরস্কার ১৯৮২। ‘ছোটগল্প—নতুন রীতি’ আন্দোলনের প্রবক্তা।

The story is about a teenager kishore who died in accident but all of a sudden he revived and returned. Either he trapped in any electromagnetic field or is there any conspiracy deeper inside?
Kishore actually devise a plan for to get back his mother hidden jewel through his friends after getting torturous life from his cruel brother. But story turned when he came across thar jewels are alreday stolen by his brother. His rage made him so angry, almost try to kill his own brother.
Later kishore regrets for his deeds as an innocent boy like him turned into a criminal, explained all his plans to his friends and left them behind with a great sorrow.
