High school is a seething hotbed of roiling emotions and angst. And many of those tumultuous feelings follow us the rest of the way into adulthood, leaving us insecure little balls of anxiety. That’s the stage that’s set for this book and the mysteries it contains. The story kept me guessing from the moment this book opened until nearly the end. I had managed to identify the correct villain, but the author made me constantly question my convictions. I’m also loving the “side quest” of Fallon trying to trace her missing sister. Every step she gets closer seems to introduce new complications. I may have only just finished reading this book, but I’m already desperate to discover what will happen next. I received a complimentary advance copy of this book through Booksprout.
This book can be enjoyed as a stand-alone novel. It vividly captures the emotional turbulence of high school—a seething hotbed of angst and roiling emotions. Many of these tumultuous feelings linger into adulthood, leaving us as insecure bundles of anxiety. This backdrop sets the stage for a gripping story filled with mysteries.
From the moment I started reading, the story kept me guessing until nearly the end. Although I managed to identify the villain correctly, the author skillfully made me question my convictions at every turn. Despite just finishing the book, I'm already eager to discover what will happen next.
The characters are compelling and work well together as a team. The villain is particularly relatable, as many of us have high school memories we'd prefer to forget. Despite the life our villain built over 20 years, high school still held the power to unravel everything.
I read this book in one sitting because it was hard to put down. The fast pace, intriguing content, and unpredictable twists kept me hooked. While the culprit became more obvious later in the book, it wasn't until I was about 70% through, making the revelation all the more satisfying.
Overall, this book is a thrilling and engaging read that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

This book is simply such a huge departure from the typical books we have come to expect and enjoy by Addison Moore. The story was pretty good but a little grittier too from standard Addison. My first suggestion when you read this book is don't compare it to her other offerings. Taken completely by itself, it is a tight mystery with enough red herrings to keep readers turning the page. The characters are interesting and seem to be meshing well as a team. At one point, Jack and Fallon are having a snack with Jack's brother who Jack has described as addicted and aimless but there is something about his characters that appeals. Fallon, my mother and sister all see something in Jett which may lead to a redemption arc. The villain is fairly relatable as we all have stories from high school that would be best forgotten in adulthood. Unfortunately, regardless of the life our villain built of 20 years, high school still had the power to destroy everything. It was kinda sad to think a person could allow someone that much power over their life 20 years later. We still have an underlying mystery to solve so I will keep reading this series as new books show up.

This can be read as a stand-alone. I did start to realize while reading it there was a book before it. Enough information was provided that this nook can easily be read.
I liked Fallon, Jack, Nikki, and Mitch. Although this was a murder mystery, it was a more lighthearted whodunit. It was just what I needed after reading some darker, heavier mysteries. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters.
I read this book in one sitting. Once I started, it was hard to put down. The pace was fast, the content was interesting and intriguing, and the culprit was not super obvious. The whodunit became more obvious later in the book, but by that time I was about 85% done.
I didn't realize book 1 was in my TBR list. I will be reading that one, but I am also looking forward to the next book.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received via Booksprout.
Fallon Baxter FBI Agent is ride along as her partner’s school friends are targets or potential killers…Days before the reunion the first victim is killed in her own home brutally then there’s a missing person with blood smeared messages pointing at secrets of a dredged up past. The body count is rising so they have to work fast. Can Fallon piece the vital clues before there’s more bloodshed and with even Jack as a target on the killer’s list. You get the gist. A great mystery that’s compelling it’s Addison Moore so we know it’s a compelling story but boy it has and gives chills as the body count rises so do the page turning thrills. Brilliant read as always . There’s wasn’t a doubt I’d enjoy reading this story it’s a great immersive book.

The killer has a score to settle and it is up to our heroine to figure out that clues before anyone else becomes a victim, including her partner.
This is book two of the series, but each story is written as a standalone. No prior reading is required.
This is a detective mystery with an FBI heroine. The story is well written and easy to read with a well developed cast of victims, errr, characters. Our heroine is tough and smart which are going to be essential traits if she is going to solve this case. The mystery is a good one with lots of twists and turns which keeps things moving at a solid pace. Overall, an excellent story and I look forward to more in this series.
Highly recommended.

folks dieting and dressing like they are heading to a wedding on steroids, and they want to make some kind of impression on the other attendees
for some folks, school was a bunch of fond memories, and ruling the school- or at least pretending too, and not all that "fun" was tempered with kindness
some of us faced assaults, friendships, romance or broken hearts
when memories turn lethal, Nikki, Fallon and Jack Stone try to solve the connected mysteries before more folks fall victim yo the growing pains of their pasts
my favorite character is of course the pup rescued from a surprising serial offender earlier in the series
Special Agents (FBI) gallon and Stone are called in for s series if he cases. A kidnapping,a murder and two or three people shot. The kicker.. They are people Jack knows because they went to the same high school. A high school that's having it's 20 year anniversary. There are smudges foot prints, laptops and social medias that need to be got through. The one thing holding them all together is they are all friends or were at I've time. Had the murderer signaled out the class? All it just some? The clock is ticking. Find the person or persons involved before their attention swings to Fallon's partner. A thrilling story that will have the reader gripping chair edges!!.

Special Agents Fallon Baxter, Jack Stone, and Nikki Knight are assigned to a shooting/kidnapping case in Aspen Heights. Shortly after they begin investigating, there is a murder in the same town. Coincidence? Maybe. Jack knows both women from high school. His upcoming class reunion will provide an excellent opportunity to look for connections. The window is short to find the kidnapped woman if she is even still alive.
Addison Moore has a talent for spine-tingling thrillers. This one kept me guessing until the end. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
A kidnapping brings Fallon and her team to a scene, where it is revealed that Jack has a connection to one of the victims. They have received information about a deceased individual. Jack finds out he knows this person as well. He went to school with them.
In order to solve the mystery, Fallon and Jack must investigate his past, connecting the dots between these cases, locating the missing person, and apprehending the killer before another victim emerges.
This book was so easy to read and you become immerse in the world and characters as they work to find out what is going on and who the killer is. You will enjoy time in this world and characters. Recommend reading this book/ series.
twenty year High school reunions are a mix of memories. Seems Jack and his dating past are back to haunt him. One class mate has her family home for sale. Sounds easy? Not so fast. A person, all in black, gloves and face mask and all seems to be visiting the women from Jack's High school years. One is murdered, two are injured and one is kidnapped. With the reunion pending, will Jack and Fallon find who is responsible and be able to enjoy his reunion? A page turner that I could not guess who the culprit was, but, wow! I admit I was mentally yelling at the characters.
High school reunions can be stressful but even more so when "Jackie" Stone's classmates are picked off one by one before the big day.
Nikki, Jack and Fallon are on the case(s) when one is kidnapped during an open house and another two are stabbed to death. Is it related to his and his friends having dated all the victims back in high school or something more sinister as the past seems to catch up to them.
Although new to Moore's FBI series, I am already looking forward to the next chapter.

This was a page turning sequel in the Fallon Baxter FBI mystery series. Fallon just wants to find her missing sister but another case is assigned to her and the team. This time a murder hits close to home for Jack. There is a high school reunion scheduled and not everyone is happy about the past. There is a lot at stake if Fallon, Jack and Nikki can't find the culprit. This book can be read as a standalone and does set up the start of the next book in the series.

This is book 2 in the Fallon Baxter FBI series, and I am loving the mystery! Fallon, Jack, and Nikki have to solve a kidnapping and a double homicide at the same place where the high school reunion is being held… but what is strange is that it seems there is a tie between those who were involved and Jack himself. He dated them in the past. Du-du-dum!!
This book was definitely a page turner, and I was trying to figure out who it was the entire time! Loved this book and cant wait to see what happens next!
I'm absolutely loving this series. The chemistry between Baxter and Stone is palpable. The thrills are off the charts heart stopping and exciting. I couldn't put it down. We also learn a lot about Jack in this book as it his school reunion that has sparked the murders in the teams new case. Also the hunt for Fallon's sister Erin is ongoing, but she has the support from her team behind her now, which will definitely help. These books are real page turners so are easy to read. I definitely can't wait for the next instalment 😍
Special Agent Fallon Baxter joins Special Agents Jack Stone and Nikki Knight at Jack's 20 year high school reunion. A killer is on the loose and has been going after Jack's classmates. The three agents are in a race against the clock to catch the killer and find a kidnapped woman. Can they uncover the clues before another classmate meets their end? Read this, the 2nd book in the Fallon Baxter FBI Mystery Series to find out.
Fallon, Jack and Nikki are assigned to look into several crimes in Jack's hometown. Assaults, murder and kidnapping have occurred and all the victims have connections to Jack. It's up to the team to find out who the perpetrator is before more bodies are found. This thriller has plenty of twists, turns and red herrings as they race to stop the mayhem.

An exciting thriller as the FBI race against time to find a kidnapped woman and a murderer. The main characters are very likeable and portrayed well. Part of a series but can read as a standalone. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Jack's 20 year high school reunion looms and bodies start stacking up all seemingly connected to his senior year. Is an old friend the killer? Fallon, Jack and Nikki are on the hunt, accompanied by the delightful Buddy. This is a quick read, fast paced and grips the reader throughout. Excellent and exciting series. Can’t wait for the next case.
I loved this story. It has all the lements that a SM mystery usually has, but it's a bit more suspenseful. I had a great time reading it and I look forward to reading more.
I enjoyed getting to know everyone more and seeing Fallon find her place within the team which in turn leads them offering to help her and also that this case was very very close to home with plenty of people to not trust, being inside the bad guys head made the story even better.
This is a great read that is full of twists and turns. It hooks you on the first page and doesn't let go. I love a good mystery that keeps you guessing until the end and that's what this book does.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I can't say this was a bad read nor can I say it was a good read. The characters have the feel of one dimensional. A connection to each other yet not really. Hopefully these character will evolve.
I am enjoying this series. The plots are interesting and the investigative steps are logical and sequential. The characters are believable and likable. I recommend this series for nice, light reading. .
Same as last book… It’s alright. Basically I have the same exact review as book #1. A good detective trope, good if you need a super quick read. Wasn’t my favorite I’ve read this year.
