Taylor, a former teen star on the verge of a comeback, walked away from her acting career years ago after suffering a devastating heartbreak. Hi. It's nice to meet you!

My name is Lavender. I'm a dark sapphic romance author with very cute covers, depicting the women of color I love to dream and write about.

I'm currently dreaming of a sapphic hotel in Las Vegas and the 5 sapphic women who brought it to life. I can't wait for you to meet them. I expect you'll hate some of them before you love them, but I promise the ride is worth it.

As a reader, I enjoy the watching characters grow and as an author, I strive to do that in every book. Even when you're made at them, I hope you understand them. I hope you grow to love them as much as I do.

If you have any questions, let me know. I can't wait to hear from you!

Once broken and never healed. Taylor and Gabby meet again. Trigger warning: this story contains a lot of explicit sex and kinks.

I received an advance copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

It’s been four years. Four years since Taylor walked out on Gabriella and broke them both in the process. Even though time has passed, they can’t seem to rid their minds and hearts of each other. When Gabby’s friend Chastity invites Taylor to her weeklong birthday bash at her hotel BED in Vegas, Taylor is determined not to go. After multiple declinations, she decides at the last moment to go anyway. Taylor has been at the conception of this hotel. A place where people can live out their sexual kinks and fantasies in a safe place. Taylor has never visited though, but she realizes this party week might be exactly what she needs to discover once and for all who she is and what she wants without the ghost of Gabriella looming over her. What Taylor didn’t know is that Gabby has accepted a manager’s position at BED. She is determined to not let that hold her back to experience her own journey to find herself.

Gabby is not ready to see Taylor again, but her wicked friend and boss Chastity forces her to deal with it now for once and for all. As the manager of theatre productions at the hotel, she knows what Taylor will be drawn too. Since working at BED, Gabby built several parts of it to cater especially to Taylor’s desires. While the hotel is the actual place where guests can live out their desires with each other, Gabby makes sure everyone stays away from Taylor. During her stay Taylor gets more and more risky, getting herself into several situations that stoke Gabby’s fire. Taylor deliberately taunts her only to end up with Gabby anyway. This is it. Will Gabby win Taylor back once and for all, or is this the point when the goodbye will be forever?

The second story about Taylor and Gabby rivals the first one in strange power dynamics and explicit desires. It’s all about sex and many different forms of kinks. All of which hotel BED caters to. The strong connection between Taylor and Gabby drips off the pages. As many times Taylor tries to break free of the memories of Gabby, she can’t seem to outrun their bond. Gabby makes sure of that, but Taylor’s resolve crumbles more with every interaction. It takes a lot of trying for her to realize what she instinctively knew to be true. Gabby never left her fantasies, her mind nor her heart.

Gabby has spent the last four years apart to work on herself but mostly to create a space for Taylor to come home. Come home to herself and to Gabby. Although Chasity moves up the timeline, she grabs onto the opportunity with both hands. This is her shot and it will be the only one she’ll get. What was both impressive and irksome was the way Gabby seems to control every one of Taylor’s transgressions to free herself of Gabby. She continuously puts herself between Taylor and her experiences. The more the story continues you start to see that subconsciously, Taylor wouldn’t have it any other way.

While Taylor’s and Gabby’s relationship dynamic is hard to understand as an outsider, it’s easy to see they belong together. The way they get there is sometimes mind boggling and seems counterproductive, but that is the way their push and pull works. It’s also evidence of their intimate knowledge of the other.

This duology is enticing, very sexual and kinky. I can believe it can be validating if you yourself have these kinds of desires that are considered to be outside the norm. It’s nothing like the usual sapphic romances that are written by the dozens, but that makes these stories even more compelling.

Lavender Quinn. What a freaking way to end this duology. This was the absolute BEST follow up to The Intimate Beginnings of Taylor. It followed the progression of both taylor and Gabrielle so well.

I had so been hoping Taylor would come more into her own and embrace herself, her desires and become more than a people pleaser that always found the right words when publicly pressed. My god, she did not disappoint. I fell more in love with her character than I had before!
And Gabrielle. Don't even get me started on her! I loved her from the first book, with her moody self, but the love she has for Taylor shined so bright in Suite Enemy and the thought and care she took to build Taylor something she would love?? Ugh. Where can I find a Gabrielle. And where can I find a Hotel BED?!

What a great ending to this sapphic romance duet. I loved the character development and how the story line evolved into the ending this book has.
The characters, the story, the hotel!!! Where do we book a room? 😏 I loved this book and the spice, in case you were wondering, was excellent.

Taylor is invited to her 'friend' Chasity's birthday at her special, erotica, hotel. Still nursing her wounds over a breakup, Taylor decides to go and hopefully figure her issues out.

Gabriella, the ex, did not expect Chasity to actually talk Taylor into coming. And honestly, she's not sure she's ready to see her again.

(Okay, apparently she wrote this book, then the one set before. And there's continuity issues... Gabrielle doesn't bring up that she and Sara catfished Taylor in the first book.)

And Taylor tried to just leave, and Chasity told her she signed a contract that says she'll be billed if she goes. Seriously WTF.

Yeah, so mild non-con, and various kinks.

Chasity you have no rom to bitch about Taylor being trouble when you made her stay.

Solid 2.5 i think. Basically Gabi wins Taylor back by being her perfect dom? I guess?

Yeah, WEIRD continuity issues between the books.

The 2nd book in the series continues four years after Taylor broke up with Gabriella after finding out about her lies. Of course they have not forgotten about each other nor really moved on. The whole book is based in Hotel BED in Las Vegas where a lot of kinky stuff is happening. My eyes sometimes popped out when reading some of the scenes but in the end the story is actually a love story between Taylor and Gabriella that is not really the typical dynamic you are used to. Thus the book is not only spice but has a also a really interesting plot so a good read combined with the backstory in the 1st book.

I received a free ARC of this book from the author.

This was a fantastic sequel! It was just as unique as the first. Totally original story that I've never read anything like it before. Gabriella is the total book wife material and gives of the "touch her and you 💀" vibes! I wish BED was a real place, and I loved every detail of BED's design and feel. Taylor did everything to avoid opening up again, but I'm so glad she found herself in the end. I would love to read Shay's story in the future. She was mysterious and intrusive but interesting. It's definitely one of my favorite reads of the year!! 💜

This was a perfect sequel to their story!! This author is so well at pacing these stories perfectly and adding just the right amount of angst to keep readers engaged. There were so many emotions and obstacles that these characters went through and you could really feel them all!! And of course the spice was amazing! I feel like there are quite a few authors who lack the ability to write spicy books and include a good plot and Lavender Quinn isn’t one of them! 5/5⭐️

An acquired taste

It's a good continuation of the first book, but like that one it may not be everyone's cup of tea. I do appreciate the author's overall writing style, storyline and character development.

I would recommend it as a weekend read, something a little off the beaten path of black sapphic offerings.

What a great ending to this duology, I was so happy to see that Taylor grew within herself and within her sexuality.
It is hard to see the connection from outside but they are destined to be together.
I found this a little more spicy than the other and was hard to hide my blush 😳
