Lucy Cousins, BA Honours in Graphic Design from The Faculty of Arts and Architecture, Brighton Polytechnic, postgraduate degree from Royal College of Art, is an author-illustrator of children's books. She is best known for her books featuring Maisy Mouse but she has also published other children's books including one about Noah's Ark. She is a mother of four and lives in Hampshire, England. Her own children are the inspiration for her books whose age range is 2-8.

I LOVE this book! If I could, I'd give it 10 stars. It is so well-loved, half the presents are just barely hanging on in there -- and Maisy's present to me (a mini-book within the book) is destroyed. That is a sign of a well-loved book.

This is a lift-the-flap book. You can choose a present for Maisy at the end. Plus, Maisy has a present for your child. (A little book you can take out of a box.)

I enjoyed the book and so did my son my daughter didnt want me to read it to her because she wanted to play with it herself.

The library book we read was too damaged for us to properly enjoy, but clearly previous readers enjoyed this!
