Kind of having mixed feelings about these exam prep questions. I have noticed many questions are from the N10-008 and N10-007 exam objectives, but these don't necessarily overlap with the N10-009 objectives. So in a lot of ways, the questions can feel like they are referencing deprecated materials, making it challenging if studying from a newer course.
However I don't want to jump to conclusions and say that Craig is just using deprecated materials. What's challenging about studying for the N10-009 in particular is that the exam objectives are a little bit more generalized and vague. I noticed when reading Comptia's exam objectives for the N10-008 for instance, there is a lot more specificity that is lacking on the N10-009 exam objectives. For example, the N10-009 exam asks you to know '802.3 Ethernet standards', but the N10-008 exam objectives actually lists all the copper and fiber 802.3 Ethernet standards that would be tested. So even if an objective is not listed in the N10-009 but listed in an older exam, it's possible that the N10-009 objectives lacks the specificity to mention important concepts.
So in a way, I feel this exam prep does a good job in filling in gaps of information that I might have otherwise missed in newer course materials. It might be a bit overkill, but perhaps it's better to over-prepare and not have any surprises.
