I met Joe in my first month in Kona, but little did I know what an absolute legend this man is! God took him on a journey of pioneering that has put the fear of the Lord in me as I read his story. Praying, interceding, seeking God’s will above one’s own is the upmost important thing we can do. I feel so stirred to seek God first in everything. His story felt backwards to mine as I started working with Cambodians, then Kona and the Pacific, and holding onto a word I have about Africa. Praise God for his perfect timing!
