Mage Hunter: Episode 4: Hammered Iron

The Ursian Chronicles #4

by Ty Johnston

Sergeant Guthrie Hackett finds himself the prisoner of Lord Verkain, King of Kobalos. Can Guthrie escape? Are his companions still alive? And what role does Verkain play in the war between Ursia and the barbaric Dartague?

More importantly, Guthrie soon suspects the knights who are his companions have learned he is a mage. This could spell his death. But first he has to escape Verkain and find his way out of a wilderness teaming with the Dartague enemy.

Good series. Could have been combined into a single book.

Great read

This was another very good read and I think it is one of those books that you can just sit back and really enjoy. This book has had a few good twists in it and now I'm really curious to see what happens to the good sarge / mage. I'll have to wait till tomorrow and find out. Way past my bedtime. Oh did I say this series is a page turner.
